Nikita thought she had a clear get away from Riot, however, she did not expect him to perform such a fun trick. The walls of the entrance to the cave echoed with the soft padding of the perfectly executed leap. She had no time to think at that point.

It was as if time had slowed down again, watching, knowing that something was going to happen within the next moment.

Nikita dared to try and leap again, so soon after her last bound. However, she turned her head over her shoulder to get a look at how close Riot was. Her head was turned and her feet now acted as if they had a mind all their own. A sudden bump in the dirt path 'sprung up' and snatched Nikita's front paw, forcing it to go backward and meet with her opposite hind leg. Before she had any time to further think her whole world begun to shift forward faster. Bright dots filled the room upon her chin meeting with the ground the first time, than a few more times after that.

But the world wasn't done spinning in a different direction yet! She could feel the air past her toes while the dirt-floor was felt on her back. The cycle seemed to continue endlessly, even when her frame had stopped on its side just where the pathway gave into the large room.

Bob stopped at the entrance to the cave and turned about to face the disappearing sun. There was now very little light left peeking beneath the trees. The forest itself was already pitch black. His eyes strained as she looked around one last time.

Nothing.

As Nikita tripped, Riot just so happened to collide as she was sent into a tumble. Which in-turn caught up Riot. A whirlwind of fades color kaleidoscoped his gaze as he braced himself for what might be a heavy thud. He could off and on feel Nikita's horns bushes against his body as they where rolled together.

Then it hit, the strong solid earth stopped the spinning and flashed a wake of 'stars' in Riots's gaze.

*ufff* left Riot, braced clinched eyes waited for the second impact he believed would be coming. Nikita.

Suddenly the cub was wondering if the little maneuver was indeed a good one or not.

So fair it was all thuds and stars.

Nikita's tumble had come to an abrupt halt and with a sharp 'umph'. Her frame lay across Riot's own, making an 'x' between the two of them.

She groaned a little as she lifted her head slightly. The room was still a mess of colors and shiny dots. She could hardly make out the rocks that were normally embedded in the walls across the room, or even where their sand pit was.

She than glanced around for the pink that surely should have tackled her by now. Her frame shifted again, this time she felt more softness under her elbow. her right paw curled up and tucked tight against her chest.

Wait.

With a sudden moment of clarity through the fog, Nikita glanced down with eyes wide.

"Ry?" She groaned.

Bob released a heavy sight before turning around and fully entering their cave. Whatever it was, if it was, was not there. They would have a time of getting in here in any case. There was nothing to worry about-

Bob paused mid-step to see the cubs both tangled on the floor. Both of them seemed to be slightly dazed. Grandweaver.....

"Are you two alright?" Bob inquired as he approached, his head lowering to the ground while he removed his helmet and set it aside.

Pulling his gaze open, one eye at a time, Riot looked up to see the light mass that was on top of him...again.

"Hey..." Ry answered back, blinking. He was happy to be her landing, but whoa.

"Are you okay?" The sturdy cub asked prodding the air a little with his nose in Nikita's direction. A front paw that dangled in the air, he let relax on he nearby horns of her head.

Hearing Bob's muffled words, Riot's head swiveled trying to see where Bob was at and where the two of them landed. It was quite a spill and tumble the both of them took, he had to wonder...

Did he cause it, he hoped Nikita was okay. Aside from the landing, he was okay...

Nikita's head easily bobble to Riot's gentle push at her horns. Though it probably would have been a good idea to move or at least let Riot up off the ground, she didn't think to do so. Her eyes closed briefly as she drew in a deep breath.

The right paw that had been tucked close to her stretched out, and in a flash it was right back pressed against herself. A sharp huff left her nostrils. That really hurt.

"My paw hurts..." She stated very quietly, and reluctantly, to admit that something didn't feel right. In addition her chin hurt a bit as well, not to mention a few gaps in her mouth where some cub teeth had been knocked loose. They were well on their way out in the first place, but this was quite the forceful shove to remove them.

"...you okay?" She added slowly, allowing her eyes to remain closed a bit more.

This was embarrassing... had she been in a better mind-state, she would have pointed out that technically she pinned him again. Inn addition to complimenting the move she had barely enough time to catch a glimpse of.

As Bob entered the room, Nikita turned her head toward him with eyes just peeking under the lids. She only offered him a slight bobble of her head.

Bob could smell the slight hint of blood in the air, Not too great to cause great alarm, but enough to startle him.

Carefully he begun to remove the rest of his armor and set it aside. With the telekinesis it was easily done while he continued to inspect the two young cubs.

His head remained close to them. The cave was a bit dark, but he could smell there was something wrong. There were some lanterns in teh back of the cave, ones he had been given by the one who helped him with his armor, but they would have to wait to be lit.

"Can you two move?" Bob inquired gently, waiting to help if need be.

Though the smell of blood was not thick, he had a feeling they would be going on a short journey to the stream to wash up a bit...

riot's paws wobbled back and forth as Nikita bobbed her head. Attention turned back to his friend using him as a pillow.

Ears flicked back as she stated her paw hurt after quickly retracting it back under her and against him.

Stretching out his neck, Riot made a gentle lap at her chin with his tongue. Where he could smell the weak smell of blood.

"Yeah, I am okay." The cub responded, admittedly he was worried about her paw.

"Nikita hurt her paw.." Riot was quick to inform Bob, his ears lowered concerned with his friend. Tilting his head, Riot kindly nudged and nuzzled Nikita's head gently.

(Cry roll - good girl. XD)

Nikita continued to allow her head to bobble with the care she was receiving in gentle nudges. Thankfully Riot was also kind enough to tell Bob what was going on, though she was still embarrassed to be in such a situation.

Her head lowered a little more as Bob's head drew close to sniff and investigate the wounds. Her ears docked back as she released a soft mewl.

"Yes, it hurts to move..." She choked on the words. It took everything within her frame to not just start crying again.

Part of her was convinced that she would feel better if she did, but the other part was too prideful to show such a thing. Everyone else was being brave. Though her eyes managed to glaze over just a little, she still managed hold the water back from over flowing.

"I didn't look where my feet were..." She admitted, now able to taste the small bit of blood that was accumulating from where her missing teeth were.

Bob released a soft sigh before giving both cubs a gentle poke with his nose.

"All you can do is learn from this... it will be okay." Bob answered softly, or as soft as his deep voice could manage. "Common, let's get you two cleaned up."

Carefully he reached over the two cubs to retrieve Nikita by the scruff. She had grown a lot since they all had first meet, but she was still very easy to carry about.

As he lifted her carefully from Riot he lowered his tail close to the ground. It was dark and often allowed the cubs to use his tail to keep close. Somewhat like holding hands... The worry he had moments ago was now hidden well beneath the duty to be sure both cubs were taken care of.

"And I tackled her..."Riot admitted, as Nikita was picked up by Bob. Slowly Riot pulled himself up to his paws as he was free to do so. Getting to his paws, Riot didn't have to be told as he fallowed after Bob and Nikita. His attention remained raised with his head as he kept a watched on Nikita dangling from Bob's maw. A hop in each step, he didn't pay any mind to Bob's tail as he kept as close as he could be. Tail raised as tall as a pole, he was focused...

Nikita didn't look so good, and that worry kept Riot's cub ears lowered in an awkward perk.

"It's going to be alright, Nikita. Bob knows what to do to make you feel better." Riot was keen to Inform his friend, after all Bob knew what to do when he hit his head really hard against Nikita's.

Nikita remained curled up as Bob lifted her from the ground very delicately. She wanted to respond to Riot, but found that while being carried in such a manner she could not respond past a mewl. Carefully her tail curled up between her tucked legs and up to her hurt paw. Both shoulders hunched as she gently swayed a bit with each of the big B'alam's steps.

At this point she was more embarrassed than focused on the pain in her mouth and paw. All the tripping should have been done by now. Her balance had improved so much! And than... this. At least she didn't cry this time.

After glancing down to what she could see of Riot, she closed her eyes. Her tongue danced around the few gaps where teeth had been. Gums felt weird... and the irony taste of blood made each lick very strange. It wasn't overwhelming, but it was not pleasant.

Bob glanced down to Riot as he offered his assuring words. He was a wonderful friend, and Bob would have gladly assured the both of them had his mouth not been full at the moment.

His nostrils flared as he moved past the threshold of the cave and into the forest. The area was so well known he could find his way to the little stream by scent alone. It was close by, within sight of the cave. The water trickled down a large pile of rocks, down hill from where the lake was. Running water was a good place to wash up, and the cubs were still small enough to easily fit under the miniature waterfall.

As they reached the base of the mini water fall, where the stream pooled a bit, Bob set Nikita down in the pool. Her breaths had deepened a bit since they had started... she had fallen asleep.

"Riot?" Bob called as she looked over his shoulder for the young cub.

Riot answered with a soft mew, after Nikita. When she didn't answer, a breath released Riot as he watched the sway she made with each step Bob made. As the steps became larger, Riot's pace quickened, his head tilted down to keep his tail insight. He had to work a bit harder with his shorter legs, but he was determined to stay at a placement to keep a eye on Nikita. The cub easily took note that his friend had fallen asleep.

"Right here." Riot answered, moving around Bob's body, he moved into the pool of water with Nikita. Reaching her side, Riot gently bushed his body against her own, before he turned himself around her to nudge her gently with his head.

Standing alongside and around Nikita, Riot looked back at Robert. His tail, flicked and swayed about in the air.

Bob turned his head to watch Riot approach than take his stance by Nikita. He drew in a deep breath than turned about and lowered himself to the ground. His paws tucked under his frame while his neck crained to begin licking the side of Nikita's maw.

First step, clean.

Nikita didn't move much as she was being tended to. The soothing feel of being gripped at the scruff and swaying gently was enough to lull her to a good sleep. Well, in adition to the nasty trip that the two young cubs had taken. Thankfully, Bob was relieved, to hear a very soft purr-noise rattling within the sleeping cub. This meant she was alright and that the very sudden lul to sleep was not to be too worried about.

"You are d-" Bob started to praise and comfort Riot when a sudden *woosh* passed by overhead. A slight tailwind rustled the leaved in the trees above to the noise's passing.

Bob's eyes wiened as he spring to all fours and moved to stand over the cubs, ears perked forward and fur bristled fully.

Cain passed by overhead. Now that the dreaded sun was set and night had taken its place, he could see the land fully. Every detail was revealed to his superior night vision.

His nostrils flared to the very subtle smell of blood. It was a smell he knew very well. This smell belonged to the source of his energy and he quite favored it.

Cain's wings closed to his body causing a sudden dive toward the forest. He had already made his presence know, now he had to take advantage of the confusion.

Within mere seconds his front paws and claws had a hold of the larger silver male and shoved him back and off of the two cubs. Wings folded outward as he had hold of his pray, maw opened revealing needle-like teeth as a hiss was summoned fourth past a curled tongue.

As the *whoosh* came quickly over head, Riot's body involuntarily drooped. Fur puffed, and ridged down to his tail. Something filled his body with alarm and his little heart jumped in a race.

What was that?!

In a flash, Bob was pushed by a strange black and pink object. Alarm filled the cub, as trained instinct took over the little cub. From what he saw with Bob and what he was told, The Cub moved into action. Riot's maw opened and grabbed on to Nikita's scruff and with determination he backed up though the water with her, dragging her past the waterfall. Hoping to hide them both...

Protection, was first. The more they where hidden, the less Bob would have to worry about them and focus on the...Fight?

Is that what was happening, where they seriously being attacked?!

If so, he had to help some how-And that was helping Bob protect them assuming they where in danger-which was pretty obvious. Though not a lot could be seen in the dark as wanted, something inside him screamed 'danger!'

Huddled with Nikita in the small cave, Riot's body heaved and breathed heavily. The pink fluff on his head, was still ridged and puffed. Large awkward paws pushed on the edge of the rock to keep him from passing the water of the falls. Both him and Nikita had gotten bigger, they didn't fit in the cave as easily as they did before. Nikita was tucked safely behind him....

Bob tried to rear up on his hind legs and wrap his arms around the attacker. However, the power behind the tackle was too great. He had never seen such a creature nor had been against anything with such strength. With each beat of his opponent's wings he could feel his entire frame being pushed back and starting to buckle over.

But he wasn't going to give up easily, not while the cubs were in trouble. The bridge of his nose wrinkled as he released a loud roar. His open maw thrust forward, but meet with only air.

Soon he could feel his entire frame being thrown to the ground. If only he had not taken off his armor... The last thought before he felt the sharp sting of fangs plunging into his neck. Bob struggled to kick with his hind-legs at the underbelly of the shadow beast. But with each passing moment the power behind the kicks was waning, Bob's eyes begun to grow heavy. What?

Cain pushed back with all of his strength against the silver b'alam. His wings continued to flap in powerful strokes to create more force against the opponent. Once again, surprised worked to pull the strength out of the other and bend things to Cains favor.

The other sudden snapped back, but Cain simply pulled his head back briefly before thrusting his own maw forward and grabbing hold of his opponent's neck. Once his needle-like fangs had a hold he begun to drink heavily from the other's veins. All the while strengthening himself and weakening the other.

His wings fanned out behind him while he pressed forward against the kicking feet in order to press them down and prevent any more damage to himself. There was a slight sting in his belly, but it was not enough to cause distress or hinder his attack. This battle was his own to claim.

Riot remained still behind the waterfall, sight and smell was drowned out by the crashing of water thundering before him.

His breathing and heart sounded like it was going to give their hiding place away. The cub wanted to see what was happening, his cub like wonder wanted to tell him that Bob was winning and everything was going to be okay. However there was a sick turn in his stomach.

Toes pressed on the rock, as he begged the maker he wouldn't slip and make a sound. Wide blue eyes slipped to the corner of his sight as a tucked head was too frozen and unsure if any movement would expose him to the outside, he however wanted to check on Nikita. She was quite, perhaps she was still asleep....

A swallow loudly slipped down a dry throat as eyes moved back to the curtain of water that kept them hidden. In the day time, the cub could recall seeing shadows and faintly past the falling water-but in the cave and in the dark it was impossible to see anything....
