The baby digimon were settling down and with the arrival of toys, it became much easier to manage them. Marco wasn't used to taking care of children. He did have a sister, but she was older than him making him the little brother so he wasn't sure how to manage children. One of the only memories he could recall about even holding a baby were when a friend of the family gave birth to a little girl. He was given the baby to hold and he remembered feeling nervous because she was so tiny and fragile looking. He wondered if Nikky or Meiling had any experience taking care of baby digimon. The arrival of the toys was very fortunate and the one that brought them were a turtle digimon wearing a blue helmet. He was apparently a friend of Nikky and Hanako since he came in with Hanako and even called out to Nikky who went to hug him as if she was seeing an old friend. Marco was caught off guard when the turtle digimon addressed him, but he didn't have time to question him since the baby digimon still needed to be taken care of.
"That's a really nice story," Marco smiled as he helped in distributing the toys. "I'm still trying to think of a name for my digimon. I'm very bad at it," Marco chuckled. Swanmon was feeling more relieved with all the help she was getting and thanks to Kamemon's arrival the baby digimon were a lot more manageable. "Looks like everything is well here. The little ones will be going to sleep soon." Looking around the room, Marco noticed that many of the digimon were looking rather drowsy. Most of them had stopped playing with their toys and were blinking in attempts to fight the sleep. Marco sighed in relief, taking care of baby digimon was tougher than he thought. He wondered how Swanmon managed to do this all the time, but then he remembered that this was all just a video game. "The digimon will be sleeping for a couple of hours. I'll stay and watch over them, but I need you all to gather some food from the storage room. They'll be hungry when they wake up."
Marco nodded and motioned for everyone to go outside. "We should take this opportunity to look for the thief," he didn't forget about Meiling's earlier question, but he just didn't know how to answer her. The thief could be anyone and he didn't know enough about digimon to even make a guess. "There are a lot of us so someone is bound to see the thief. Just make sure to let everyone know." Marco looked at Nikky and Meiling waiting for their input about his plan. DemiVeemon and Leafmon were standing next to Marco. Leafmon thought he saw a movement behind the tree, but he was too nervous with all the people around to voice his concern so instead he bumped DemiVeemon to get his attention. "Mhm?" DemiVeemon looked at Leafmon who was motioning at one of the trees. "I think Leafmon saw something over there," the little blue plushie digimon pointed at the tree with his stubby hand.
Nikky listened in with glee when Meiling explained how she came to name her babydmon B.D., all while continuing to distribute the rest of the toys Kukkii had brought. It was quite an interesting name after all. Tranquillity filled the room as the baby digimon calmed down, succumbing to a peaceful slumber. Their new companion asked Marco if he had any clues as to who the thief might be. Good question. With crowds of digimon and tamers of DRF moving about in and out of the Plains, Nikky thought that it would be difficult to find the one, or possibly the ones responsible. Swanmon then suggested that the team retrieve food while the little ones were still sleeping. The male teen then added that they could also take the time to look for clues prompting Nikky to nod as well and quietly followed him out of the hut with the others.
While they exited the protector's hut Nikky pondered as to how they would go about catching the culprit/s. Given the magnitude of DRF tamers and their digimon present the thieving was bound to be a solo job, if not a small, organized group of individuals or they would have been noticed at this point. With Nikky's latest addition to the team, the mission group most likely had the upper-hand in numbers. "Hmm... I think we should keep an eye on the digitama for now." A rather hard task to accomplish seeing as they were pretty much scattered everywhere around the plains, but they didn't have any to go on other than the fact that Digi-Eggs were disappearing and the thief/ves managed to slip out of the still recovering Swanmon fingers or rather her feathers? As luck would have it, Marco's Leafmon noticed some suspicious activity by a nearby tree. Perhaps a lead? Delivering the food could wait while they investigate. "Good job you two." The girl said with smile as she knelt down to gently pat their infant sized heads.
What they had found behind the tree surprised the brunette and her digimon partners. Nikky didn't expect there to be an abandoned path here of all places. Quietly following the suspicious being who was carrying a digitama through the path had lead the team to a hidden spring filled with the very things they were looking for. They stayed out of site thanks to bushes by the spring's entrance. Scanning the area before entering proved to be useful as they noticed a troupe of Gazimon digging holes around the spring, some of them filled with digi-eggs. "Kekeke!... Look what A found... managed ta get anatha one! Kekekeke!" The Gazimon said, flinging the egg into one of the hole that seemed to be filled with the most digi-eggs. "Keh! Looks like ya winning now!" Another sneered. Winning? Was this a competition to them? Just as Hanako was about to come out of their hiding spot with the intention to knock some sense into them, Nikky managed to pull her back in to stop her. The brunette wasn't any less angry by the rabbit-like digimon's actions, but she didn't want the soon-to-be hatchlings to be caught in the crossfire. So how to approach them? "What's the plan?" She asked with a whisper towards the others.

"Quit Slacking off! It's obvious I've gotten the most!" came a deeper sounding voice among them, with that a Gazimon X showed itself with a sack full of digieggs. "Call me the Easter bunny! Maybe if we steal enough we can hold them for ransom! All the food we could possibly want! AND MORE!" the other Gazimon seemed to look up to the X-Antibody digimon. "Yeah boss! We should! But uuh...what if humans come looking for us?" the Gazimon said trying to sneak a few eggs from his opponents hole into his.
"HA! Humans wouldn't come near us! We'll just threaten the eggs and they'll drop to their knees!" the trio laughed and the Gazimon X emptied his sack into his hole before moving off to get more.
Meanwhile Meiling had looked to B.D only to find he and the Chibomon were gone. In a panic she felt her chest compress like she was being crushed before running out of the hut and looking everywhere she could, the panic, the worry and the fear overwhelming her, making her see things that weren't there, B.D and the Chibomon wandering off to be lost forever, the thieves taking them and turning them into evil digimon. As all these thoughts flooded her mind she hear B.D's chuckle, it was a very unique chuckle, very cute too. She looked and saw the two wandering somewhere. She caught up to them and panted as she held both of them close and said "Don't do that to me B.D! I was so worried about you!". She calmed down quickly though and looked up to see the Gazimon X smirking at her before raising it's claw and all that could be heard was Meiling screams.

DemiVeemon was delighted to be petted by Nikky, but Leafmon on the other hand was quite nervous. He tensed up almost instantly, but once he felt Nikky's soft hand he relaxed; she was very gentle. Everyone carefully made their way towards the tree to see what laid beyond. What they found was not the thief, but a path. Following this path led them to a spring where the thieves were gathering the Digitamas. The creatures looked like feline-rabbit hybrids who were standing on their back legs. They wore three belts around the ends of their tails and had long black claws. They looked like mischievous creatures and from their actions they were likely very mischievous digimon. Leafmon stayed closed to Marco while DemiVeemon tried to copy Hanako by pulling up his invisible sleeves to go and teach those digimon a lesson. Marco quickly stopped his partner. The thief digimon seemed to be quite proud of themselves, but they wouldn't be grinning for long.
Nikky asked about a plan and Marco's only plan was to beat those thieves and get the digimon back, but perhaps that was too reckless. Those digimon weren't hurting the Digitama (as far as he knew) so would they try to threaten them with the eggs? Swanmon would be very sad if anything happened to those eggs. Besides, the mission was to find the thief and turn him in and Marco would make sure this mission was carried out. Help... A small voice echoed in Marco's ear. He looked around, but no one else seemed to have heard the voice. Please help my friends! This wasn't the first time Marco heard a voice inside his head. Last time he was in the plains, he heard a voice when Cyberdramon was attacking the Digitamas. The voice that spoke to him that time was Leafmon, but this voice was different. Please help them... Another voice spoke; there were two voices talking to him now. Was he communicating with another digimon? Did they all have this power or did he trigger some kind of event in the game?
Marco's thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of a new digimon. This digimon was very similar to the feline-hybrids, but he looked more ferocious and wore belts around his paws. He was bigger body-wise and his fangs were much larger than the other two digimon. From the respect the other rabbit digimon were given him this one was their boss. Everyone heard his plans to use the Digitama so now all that was left was to come up with a plan, but there were too many of them to sneak the eggs away. "We're going to have to try and distract all three of those digimon and someone can try and sneak the eggs away." Both tasks would be difficult considering the amount of Digitama those thieves gathered. One person would not be enough to gather all of the eggs and whoever is causing distraction would need to make a ruckus big enough to catch the attention of all three digimon. Marco ready to volunteer as a distraction, but they were missing one member of their group. A scream was heard and when Marco looked to the source he saw Meiling holding her digimon and Chibomon in her arms with the boss thief over her claws ready!
Meiling was in trouble! Marco quickly got up from their hiding spot picking up a stone along the way. "Meiling!" he shouted which caught the digimon's attention. He took that opportunity to flung the stone at him. The digimon was struck in the nose causing him to stumble, but it was enough for Marco to close the distance between them to grab Meiling. He picked her (and the digimon she was carrying), she was very light, and used the adrenaline to give themselves some distance from their foes. The boss thief was joined by his two grunts cornering Marco and Meiling. "You dare attack the great Gazimon X!" He raised his claws and the other 'Gazimon' followed suit. Marco turned a bit to try and shield Meiling and the digimon, but he wasn't sure there was much he could do.
"Vee-Headbutt!"
Veemon flung his body at one of the Gazimon which crashed against the other Gazimon causing a domino effect. Veemon leaped back and move to stand between Marco and Gazimon X. "You want a fight? Then you got one!" Veemon raised his fists up like a boxer getting ready to fight. Marco was relieved to see his digimon's rookie form; DemiVeemon must have digivolved in order to save them. Gazimon X grinned at the blue digimon, his grunts stumbled back to their feet recovering from the earlier strike. Marco carefully lowered Meiling down so that she could stand on her own (he was still carrying her). "If your digimon knows how to digivolve then this would be a perfect time to do it," Marco suggested since Veemon was facing three digimon alone. This was just the distraction they needed, but Veemon couldn't do it alone. It was up to Nikky and Hanako to retrieve the Digitamas before the Gazimon found out about their plans. Marco didn't see Leafmon, but he assumed that he was with Nikky and safe. The Gazimon group raised their claws and Veemon clenched his fists; this battle would not be easy.
"We're going to have to try and distract all three of those digimon and someone can try and sneak the eggs away." Sneak? Hanako's face soured at the suggestion, prompting Nikky to poke her digimon's cheeks. The plantoid obviously wasn't fond of the quiet approach, but seeing as their options were limited she didn't have much of choice and decided to swallow her opinion. With a plan now established all they had to do now was to position themselves to set it in motion. Sudden fearful screams echoed in the distance. Nikky's line of sight followed the running Marco to a Meiling who was in danger! How did she get there? 'Now isn't the time asking questions!' Marco leapt into action and threw a stone at the Gazimon X to save Meiling. They had needed some sort of distraction and now they had it. With Marco and Meiling providing the diversion Nikky and her digimon were left to gather the eggs away from harm.
"All right Kukkii, Hana, let's get these eggs out of... Huh?" Upon closer observation Nikky noticed that her tropical digimon was no longer in her group. Where did she...? "No way you're getting all the fun blue boy!" Hanako said standing behind Veemon as she got her claws up, ready for a fight. 'Hana!?' The girl thought, her eyes directed back at the others once again. How did she...? When did she...? She must have ran there when her eyes were following Marco. Nikky sighed, this meant that they were a person down to carry the digitama out safely but least the distraction was still in play. While the Gazimon crew were focused on the other tamers and their digimon, Nikky and Kukkii sneakily emerged from the bushes and began moving the digi-eggs from the closest hole to bushes nearest the path. They had a lot of work ahead for them.
The smaller Gazimon came charging at them, releasing some sort of gas from their agaped mouths. "Paralyze Breath!" Hanako figured that the gas meant bad news, so before they could release any more she dove into the fumes. "Poison Ivy!" Her thorny vines aimed for their snouts to clamp them shut. She only succeeded in shut up one of them. As she was trying once more for the other Gazimon, her body began to weaken due to staying too long in the toxic fumes, but not the grip she had on the blueish-grey digimon's snout. Though the poison was getting to her the thorns from her nails were digging into the Gazimon's skin leaving it to be as tight as it was. "You're... not... getting... away... easy..." The Palmon said as she struggled to remain afloat.

"LEAVE MEILING...ALOOOOOONEEEE!!!!!!!" Was all Mei could hear from B.D before his body was engulfed in light and soon changed him into Dracomon. As B.D had luged at Gazimon X his horns glowed and he fired a beam at the digimon. Meiling took the chance to try and grab as many eggs as she could and run back to Swanmon. She tried her best to be gentle with them and she kept running back and forwards with as many eggs as she could carry, while B.D was fighting the Chibomon that followed Meiling was helping as well even if it was one egg at a time it was helpful. As B.D slammed himself into the Gazimon multiple times he was obviously in no mood to be considered the giggling little Babydmon anymore, he was now Meilings protector, her guardian. He fired another beam from his mouth and panted as he became exhausted.
Meiling managed to get quite a few eggs back before her frail body caught up and knocked the wind from her. She couldn't help but stop and rest trying to catch her breath but became unable to and the chibomon rushed...well bounced to her and looked to her with big eyes and Meiling was able to calm down and finally catch her breath again. She wasn't able to move for a while though and soon B.D had latched onto one of the Gazimon's necks and his horns began to glow before firing a beam again sending the Gazimon flying into a tree. Noticing Meiling was gone though B.D ran off to find her.

Veemon was delighted to see Hanako would be joining the battle and he couldn't hide his big smile at seeing the plant digimon. Marco was not expecting to see the plant digimon joining them. Her vines would have helped greatly with sneaking away the Digitamas, but at the same time she was the more experienced fighter in their group. He knew that his earlier action was reckless, but he wasn't the type to just hide when someone was in trouble. With Hanako battling along side them, Veemon wouldn't have to battle along and maybe taking out this group of Gazimon would be better than sneaking the Digitamas away. The mean looking rabbit-dogs seemed to be focusing solely on them so the eggs were safe for the moment. Hanako was already attacking one of the Gazimon leaving the other two to Veemon. "Vee-Headbutt!" the blue dragon didn't waste anymore time and went for an attack; Hanako would surely yell at him if he just stood around doing nothing while she fights off their furry enemies. The Gazimon tried to dodge Veemon's attack, but the dragon was too quick for him and manage to strike his arm. Gazimon flinched in pain holding his arm, he would not be getting any use from that limb now. Veemon didn't waste a second and immediately tried to follow up with a punch. Gazimon jumped back, using the strength of his legs to get some distance. Veemon chased after him not wanting to give his opponent the chance to counter or heal from the wound on his arm.
Seeing that his partner and Hanako were engaged in their own battles that left them to deal with the last Gazimon (also the most menacing looking). Marco wasn't sure if Meiling's digimon could digivolve, but that question was quickly answered when a light suddenly shined behind him. When he looked over his shoulder, there was a new digimon standing right in front of Meiling. This digimon looked just like a dragon with little wings and horns. He shot forward charging at the last Gazimon. The dragon was repeatedly striking the large Gazimon. Marco could only watch with amazement at the scene before him. That Gazimon was probably just as surprised as he was. Meiling sneaked away to help with gathering the Digitama and once the newly digivolved Babydmon send the Gazimon flying against a tree, he went to join Meiling. "That was their boss...the rest of them should be easy. Way to go B.D!" his cheer was likely unheard, but he couldn't celebrate until all the Gazimon were defeated and the digimon were safe. Marco turned his attention to Veemon and Hanako's battle with the remaining rabbit-dog hybrids.
Veemon was handling his battle quite well. The Gazimon was agile and fast, but Veemon was not a slow fighter. He was just as fast as the furry digimon perhaps even faster since he was going quite the number on the beast. Veemon had the advantage since Gazimon was still suffering from his injured arm which was hindering his attacks. Veemon only needed to worry about one attack from Gazimon and so long as he stayed on his bad side then he could easily dodge. "Vee Punch!" Veemon swung his arms in circles using Gazimon like his punching bag. The furry digimon could not take anymore damage and he fell to the ground unconscious. Two thieves down and only one to go. Hanako was taking care of the last Gazimon, but she seemed to be having trouble with the gas surrounding her. "Veemon, Hanako needs help!" Marco shouted to grab his partner's attention. The blue dragon looked towards Hanako noticing that she had the Gazimon trapped in her vines which was a guarantee win, but she seemed to be struggling with something. "You need to get rid of that gas or you'll be affected by it as well."
"I have an idea!" Veemon started swinging his arms in circles like before, but this time he was swinging them faster. "Here I come! Vee-Punch!" Veemon ran into the gas while swinging his arms. The rapid motion of his arms was causing the gas around him to disappearing clearing a path for him. "Vee-Headbutt!" Veemon flung forward and smashed against the Gazimon that Hanako was holding down. He grabbed Hanako ran away from the gas using the path that he just finished creating. Once they were in the clear, Marco sighed relief, the thieves were defeated! "Veemon look out!" the dragon digimon looked over his shoulder and saw Gazimon X coming right at them. Veemon was still holding onto Hanako and if he tried dodging then the plant digimon could get hurt so instead he braced himself. Veemon groaned in pain as he was struck in the back by sharp claws. "It's not over yet! Those eggs are mine!"
Marco grabbed a pebble from the ground and flung the piece of rock at the thief boss. Gazimon X saw the rock coming, but he swiped it away using his claws. That small distraction was all that Veemon, "Vee-Headbutt!" Springing upwards from his kneeling position, the top of his head made direct contact with Gazimon X's under jaw sending the boss flying into the air only to land back down on the ground head-first creating a very small crater. Veemon de-digivolved to his in-training form, DemiVeemon; the attack on his back had been nearly fatal and due to the damage he was not able to stay in his rookie form. Marco walked over to the two digimon and picked up his little blue partner. "DemiVeemon, are you okay?" the plushie-like digimon nodded, "Hanako, are you feeling better?" He directed his attention to Nikky's partner next. The Gazimon thieves were all defeated, but they would need to restrain them in case they woke up again. The Digitamas needed to be taken back to the hut as well. There was so much to do, but they would need more hands.
"There you children are!" Marco glanced towards the voice of none other than Swanmon and with her there was a group of men (probably the construction workers that were rebuilding the planes) along with their digimon. "I was worried about you all," she smiled with a kind of scolding look that only a mother could give. Marco was kind of dumbfounded as he watched the men and their digimon gather up the fallen Gazimon as well as the Digitamas from the holes. "I could hear the commotion so I asked these nice men and digimon to come help out, but I can see that you three had this under control," Swanmon explained as she walked up to him. "Oh dear, you two are hurt, we better get them inside and have those wounds treated," she was referring to Hanako and DemiVeemon whom had taken damage from their battles. Marco nodded at Swanmon and followed her to the hut along with the others.
Back in Swanmon's Hut, she smiled at the children and their digimon. "Thanks to your group, the thieves were apprehended and the Digitama are safe here where they will be able to hatch and grow properly until its time for them to meet their human partners." Swanmon was quite delighted. Marco smiled at the swan digimon, "thank you for healing our digimon and helping us with capturing the thieves." The arrival of the construction workers and their digimon was really helpful. Swanmon returned his smile and walked up to him with a box in her hands. "For your help today as well as your bravery, I would like you to have this," she handed Marco the box urging him to open it. Marco was a bit nervous about taking the box, but if this was the reward for his mission today then he couldn't decline it. When he opened the box there was a small egg (about the size of his palm) with flame designs and a horn sticking out; he noticed a marking that looked like a sun. "This is the Digi-Egg of Courage, it will help you and your digimon on your journey." Marco didn't understand the purpose of the egg, but when he heard his digivice beeping he took out the device from his pocket. The egg seem to react to the digivice (or maybe visa versa) and it was sucked into the device. "When you are ready, you will be able to use the power of Armor Digivolution." Marco was still confused, but anything that he didn't know now would surely become clear later. "Thank you, Swanmon," Marco bowed to the mother bird in respect. Another day, another mission completed.
Nikky continued to move the digital eggs without a hitch with Kukkii's help, meaning that the group doing a great job distracting the Gazimon and Gazimon X. Glancing for a moment to check how thing were going, she saw Meiling coming to her aid after her digimon digivolved into his rookie form and dealt quite a bit of damage to the thieves' leader. Another glance to the side and she saw Hanako in battle, barely standing. "Hana!?" She was really worried about her digimon partner's safety, but she couldn't abandon the digitama. Sending Kukkii to help her out might give away their plan(not to mention that he wasn't exactly the stealthy type to begin with). She knew that she could leave Hana to others. Besides, it looked like victory was close at hand on their end. Nikky quickened her pace so as reach her friend sooner than later.
'Ah crap...' Hanako's vision was getting hazier by the minute. The thorny vines wrapped around the Gazimon's muzzle began to glow an eerie green as the vines absorbed the trapped digimon's energy and as it increased her own. She wasn't out of the woods just yet; she was still surrounded by the poisonous mist and she was now fighting to just stand up. Veemon whizzed about into her field of vision and before she knew it, he had cleared a gaz-free path and taken care of her opponent, grabbing her at some point in the process. It wasn't over yet though; they still had to take care of the head honcho, Gazimon X. Veemon dealt with him, but not before sustaining a large amount of damage, so much so that he dedigivolved.
"Tch... Who said he could touch me?" The Palmon struggled to answer Marco, ungrateful as ever. She always hated it when someone saw her in a weakened state. Veemon managed to defeated both the Gazimon and Gazimon X with B.D and Hanako's assistance. Hanako hated to admit it, but she now owed Veemon for saving her. She'd pay him back one way or another whether he liked it or not. When Nikky new that the threat was gone she and Kukkii ran to Hanako's side.
Swanmon came soon with help from other DRF members and their digimon partners to move the eggs to their rightful place. With everything settled, the group and the armored swan digimon made their way back to the hut to heal the injured. "Yes, thank you." Nikky said after Marco spoke. Hanako was tuckered out after the battle and fell asleep as soon as they started patching her up.
"You know..." Ren said as she looked at the plains, shielding her eyes from the sun. "I think your sense of direction is extra off today." She looked at Iris as the girl groaned and fumbled with her digivice while maintaining her hold on Satsuki. "One might say that this is intentional." Iris rolled her eyes. "I promise, I was looking at the device for a mission and it was lead me here. Maybe we have to go through the plains or something." Iris retorted. "But since we're here. We can go to Swanmon. After we had a little stowaway and I rather not have her thinking we stole one of her eggs."
"Don't you want me..." Satsuki asked as the Viximon's eyes watered up. Iris was quick to answer. "Of course I do Satsuki but I just realized that I never asked permission to take care of you and I don't want Swanmon to worry about you that's all."
Renamon looked at Iris once more as she sniffed the air around her. Iris didn't notice it but that was a privilege of being a digimon: better senses. "Are you sure you wanna go here. What if she asks for the little one back."Iris flinched for a moment and Satsuki did as well, getting nervous. "Well... I'll just beg and do what it takes to keep her then. Surely if she sees that's Satsuki happy, she would want to keep her happy right." Iris squeezed the digimon in her arms tighter as the bundle of fur nuzzled into her. "All right then... Let's go."
The closer the three wanted to the hut where they were before, the more Iris started to remember the battle. Seeing Ren badly injured the way that she was. She even started to feel cold again. Maybe it's too soon to be back here. Iris was starting thinking to herself. What if there was another attack while she was here..What if...
"Iris, we're here..." Ren said, waking the girl up. "Huh? Oh...." Iris looked around. There seem to be some rebuilding going on. Was Swanmon remodeling or something. Iris walked into the hut. She was surprised by the presence that was there. It was Marco, Nikki and another girl as well as Swanmon and other digimon."Uh hi everyone..." she said. They looked tired out or getting patched up. What happened before she got here....
"If I'm in the way...I'll just wait outside or I'll just take my lea-" Iris started to say, backing away when Ren had her arm against Iris' back. "Nonsense we just got here Iris... she said as she walked Iris closer to the group. Maybe we can help you guys out. Iris here is being a little fraidy which is a surprise even fo me... It seems like you guys had some fun. I wonder what that's like.." "Hi Swanmon" Satsuki said from Iris' arms. "Hi people!"

Marco was very proud of his little blue partner who managed to fight against three digimon. He didn't do it alone since Hanako and B.D helped out, but he delivered the final blow to their enemies. The blue digimon accomplished so many victories that it was only a matter of time before he evolved into his next stage. If he was this strong now then Marco could only imagine how much more powerful his partner would become. At the moment, DemiVeemon needed to rest from the attack he received after saving Hanako. The plant digimon was very proud and even when she was saved she didn't express any gratitude. Marco frowned in disapproval and tried to voice his opinion, but DemiVeemon stopped him when his stubby hand pressed against Marco's chest. He looked at his partner who smiled at him and shook his head. Marco sighed, but nodded back at DemiVeemon. He laid the digimon down so that he could rest properly. There was nothing left for them to do until the digimon recovered except to continue to help Swanmon.
Iris arrived at the hut which was an interesting surprise. Her digimon Ren was with her as well as a familiar digimon. Marco remembered seeing the yellow fluff ball which was called Viximon, but this digimon's tail was a black tip instead of a white one. Iris must have gained a new ally. Marco waved at Iris not really sure how else to greet her. Seeing a familiar face was nice and he couldn't help, but notice her new outfit. "Iris, what are you doing here?" Marco asked not realizing his comment might come off as rude. She didn't look like her cheerful self, "is everything alright?" His eyes traveled to the digimon Iris was carrying; she was cute and she reminded him of his new friend. Marco's eyes widen. He looked around, but didn't see his little friend anywhere. "Where's Leafmon?" Marco looked over at Nikky whom he left in charge of Leafmon while they were fighting the Gazimon.
"I'm here! I'm here!" Marco turned around and saw Leafmon hopping up and down by the entrance to the hut. He walked over to him to pick him into his arms. "Don't run off like that, you had me worried," worrying about data was probably odd, but Marco was really getting into this game lately. Leafmon smile at him snuggling against his chest. "Sorry, but they needed my help, They really want to meet you!" Marco blinked not understanding what Leafmon was saying that is until he heard the voices. We're here! We're over here! Marco walked outside following the voices. Leafmon jumped down from his arms and followed him with the intention of leading Marco to his friends, but the dark-haired man seem to already know the way.
The Plains of Rebirth was filled with Digitamas, but when Marco stepped around he knew exactly where he was going. The voices were like lightning a path in his mind. He couldn't explain the sensation only that he knew where he was going. They weren't that far away and almost convenient, they were right next to each other. Leafmon hopped over to the Digitams and snuggled against them. Marco kneel down to get a closer look. He placed his hands over the eggs and he felt their warmth. The Digitamas started to shine, the eggs disappeared and in their place stood two newly born digimon. They smiled and blinked up at Marco who returned their smile. "Pabumon...Jyarimon," their names instantly appeared in his mind as clear as his own name. "Marco!" the baby slime digimon with the yellow pacifier replied. "Marco!" the red ball digimon with the little dragon ears followed. Marco picked both of them up along with Leafmon carrying the trio in his arms. Realizing that he left right in the middle of a conversation, Marco returned to the hut with the new baby digimon.
"Uh, looks like we have two more heads to feed," Marco chuckled as he revealed the two new baby digimon to the group.

Nikky knelt down as she watched a resting Hanako being bandaged while Kukkii entertained some of the baby digimon present by making some faces. It managed to create a few giggles which woke up the sleeping plantoid digimon. "Ugh..." It was perfect timing too as a few familiar faces made an appearance at Swanmon's hut's entrance. Iris seemed nervous for some reason or another making her fox partner do most of the talking. As Marco asked Iris what she was doing here, Nikky turned to properly greet them. "Oh, hello miss Iris and Ren..." As she rose up to face them, she noticed a little Viximon with red eyes and a black tail tip in the green-haired tamer's arms. "And hello to you too." She hadn't seen the little in-training before. "Ah, yes... We just came back from a mission." She said in response to what Ren had said earlier. "How have you guys been?" It had only been a few days since they last saw each other, but it was nice to see them again.
Just as Marco asked where had his Leafmon had gone, the little leaf bearing baby showed himself and told his tamer that someone really wanted to meet him, prompting the male and Leafmon to leave the hut. During that small commotion, Hanako had gotten up from lying down to a seating position and looked towards Marco's DemiVeemon. She was still too sore to stand up properly. "Hey you! Listen up!" Whether he was listening or not, she continued. "I'm only going to say this once; I owe you for saving me. Now what do you want?" That was as close as she was going to get to say thank you. "Ah Hana, could you leave that for later? Both of you are still healing..." The brunette said with worry, trying to get her digimon partner to lie back down again. The plant digimon clicked her tongue, but complied at the end.
Iris was pushed towards the group, sliding in front of Marco as he waved to her. When he asked what she was doing there, she didn't even take it as offense or rude. She was too nervous to think like that. "Well I was...." Iris started to say when Marco looked at her. She looked at him and then averted her eyes when he asked if everything was okay. Was her anxiety that obvious? "I came here to speak to Swanmon about Satsuki staying with me...Her egg was in my bag during the last....mission." Iris took a deep breath. It seemed like even saying the word bothered her. Man she was pathetic.
It seemed that Marco wasn't noticing he pathetic behavior as he was inquiring Nikky about a Leafmon. Iris looked to Nikky as she greeted the girl. "Hey Nikki." Iris said as Ren walked away from her to look at Hanako. Iris smiled weakly as she heard from Nikky that they did in fact had come off a mission. They were okay and yet here she was unable to even think of the word mission without having feeling like she was having a panic attack. Iris flinched when Nikky asked how she had been. Iris gulped and held onto Satsuki."I've been...." Iris tried to find the right word... "fine."
Ren snorted as she heard Iris' responses. She turned her attention to Hanako, who was struggling sit up as she made some retort to DemiVeemon. "You guys went on a mission. I am so jealous. I haven't been on a mission since that last one we went on. Everything I mention a mission, Iris changes the subject or acts like there's no mission to do." Ren crossed her arms and sighed as she sat down beside Hanako and Nikky. "I wish I had been here with you guys. Was there action.... was there a battle. Aww I want a battle. I wanna do something!"
Iris bristled up as Ren spoke but immediately just turned her back to Ren and her words and looked out of the entrance of the hut. Iris would rather listen to him than hear Ren pick more at her faults. He did walked out while she was talking to her. Maybe she could get distracted and get on him about that. She needed something....
"Hey Nikky have you seen Swanmon?" Iris asked, still looking at the plains.

DemiVeemon stirred in his sleep after Hanako shouted. He did not open his eyes, but his ears twitched to indicate that he was listening; even he wasn’t he was sure that Hanako would continue to speak. After hearing her words, DemiVeemon smile in his sleep; Hanako was so straightforward, but so shy at the same time. She was like a roller coaster which he was always happy to ride. From the sound of her voice he knew that she was next to him. He heard other voices in the room as well, but none were clearer than Hanako. He opened one eye slowly to scope the scene and saw Nikky trying to get her partner to lie down again. He decided to make his move once Palmon was by herself again. Once the coast was clear, he stood up (with his eyes still closed) and casually walked over to Palmon. He was glad that she was close to him since the pain on his back was still bothering him. When he reached the plant digimon, he laid down with his head resting on her lap using them as a pillow. He snuggled against them until he was comfortable enough so that he could continue his rest. ”I want to rest and get better,” he briefly looked at her, ”with you as my pillow.” He smiled at her innocently and closed his eyes; this much would be enough.
"Hello!"Hi..."
The two newly born baby digimon greeted everyone making their presence known. Leafmon was with them, but everyone already knew him. Swanmon heard the commotion and went to see the new baby digimon. "Oh my, we have two new little darlings joining us," she petted Jyarimon and Pabumon since she was unable to carry both due to her injured arm. Marco felt a little awkward with the swan 'mom' gushing over her children while he was carrying them; he could not escape. Eventually, Leafmon joined the petting gang and soon enough they were all over Swanmon. She was their protector after all so naturally she must be very good with the children. At that moment Marco remembered that he had yet to tell Swanmon about Leafmon's Digitam finding its way into his bag. "Swanmon, I've been meaning to tell you...its about Leafmon." Swanmon stopped her playing with the digimon and looked at Marco with a serious expression. "Oh I already know, dear..." her tone was low which made Marco instantly nervous; he was going to hear it from her now...
Waiting for the lashing that would surely follow, Marco braced himself. Swanmon smiled at him and chuckled. "I'm sorry, dear. I could not resist myself," she pinched his cheek, "I have my fun sometimes too." Marco was left dumbfounded as he rubbed his cheek which her feathery fingers had touched. "I already knew this little one was missing," she explained looking over at Leafmon who was currently playing with his new friends. "A 'Swanmon' knows," Marco wondered if her words were a saying in the Digital World. Did digimon have mothers? Was there some kind of breeding system in the game that allowed the birth of new digimon or was Swanmon the 'mom' of all digimon? Swanmon words brought him back from his thoughts. "Believe it or not, I know how many Digitama and baby digimon are in my plains and I know when a new Digitama arrives and when one leaves." Swanmon looked outside at her plains.
Marco followed her gaze looking at the plains. The sun was setting and the sky appeared to be split between day and night. "I'm sorry I didn't bring him back sooner. You must have been worried." Swanmon shook her head, "you don't need to apologize, dear. This happens all the time, it is a part of this world. I take care of the little ones until they're ready to meet their partners," she looked back at her hut and the sleeping digimon inside. "Raising them until they're ready is my job, but there are times when the little ones will find their partners all on their own like these babies right here...and like the little one over there," Swanmon motioned to the Viximon that Iris was holding in her arms. "They are in your hands now. Raise them well and they will aid you on your journey."
Marco nodded, "thank you, Swanmon." Leafmon, Pabumon, and Jyarimon started hopping around him while they chased each other. "They're going to be a handful," Marco chuckled a bit nervously and Swanmon joined him. He returned his attention to the group in the hut, "looks like it'll be night soon. We'll probably need to camp outside?" He wondered what the girls would say or if they planned on heading back to New Network City in the dark. DemiVeemon continued to rest comfortably on Hanako's lap with no intention of moving, but the decision was up to the people in their group.

Nikky was concerned by the tone that Iris answered in, but she decided not to press any further seeing as she looked uneasy about it, though she did look a little anxious from the get go. The girl's attention then shifted to Ren when she snorted and mentioned that she wanted to be where the action was. Nikky found it interesting seeing as her own partner had a different mind set. Hana was never one to seek adventure. She, unlike Nikky, would rather avoid it, but wouldn't run away from it if she got wrapped up in one. Speaking of which... A slightly flushed and surprised Hanako squirmed about as the in-training made himself at home on her lap. "... Fine." The plant digimon said as indifferently as she could while her face showed her clear embarrassment. She wasn't expecting to pay him back so quickly and not something as simple as this... It didn't help that Ren was beside her as well... It could have been worse... 'At least he isn't in his rookie form...' All she could do was bare with it until he was satisfied.
"Hey Nikky have you seen Swanmon?" Iris asked. Just as she was about to answer the anxious teen, Marco came back to the hut and brought more than he left with. A Jyarimon and a Pabumon made their presence known, catching the Swanmon's attention. The plain's protector knew all about Iris and Marco's fateful encounter with their digi-eggs and told them both that the baby digimon were theirs to keep. It seemed like the day ended on an even better note.
Nikky's eyes shifted to outside of the hut at Marco's mention of the day changing to night. It would probably be pitch dark before they even left the plains and sure, she was fairly confident in finding her way in the daytime, but she was hesitant to even try at night. Hanako was also still injured and it didn't sit well with Nikky to leave her partner behind knowing the state she was in even if Kukkii was with her. "Camping sounds like a good idea." That way she could stay near Hana if she ever needed anything. Though she wasn't all that sure how cold it would get there and if they needed a tent and whatnot.
