[FIN] I Thought No One but Myself... (Riot & Nikita)

"Maybe..." Riot answered letting his tail curl around his body as he looked back to Nikita. Though his head couldn't help but tilt at the suggestion....

""What would we do with it once we found it" The cub was curious to ask. He didn't know if there was something they where supose to be doing. Was there anything they where supose to do?

The wild cub tilted his head in thought, as he started to think of what they could posilby being doing instead of looking for a rock.

Nothing else came to his mind, and Nikita's next comment pulled his thoughts from any rocks.

"Okay." The Tahtll stated simply, giving the Nahtill a nod and a open maw smile.

"I would like that"

Nikita's ears perked froward while her little paws trotted forward, bringing her closer to Riot's side. She couldn't begin to ecplain the joy of having someone acceopt her. The idea of feeling this accepted was new, and blissful. It made the thought of drifting to sleep almost unimagonable.

"I don't know... it would be nice to see. Even if I get to look at one all the time." She laughed as a paw raised to pet at the pink tuft of hair on his head.

Nikita's own head titled to the side, though her eyes remained fixated on his pink hair. Her tail flickered a moent before streightening out and allwoing herself to balance as her other paw lifted a bit, toes spread and flexed. The whole paw wobbled and threatened to join the other paw.

"Maybe we'll find more things while looking?" She playfully huffed. Though, she was more than convinced she had already found the best thing ever, company and a friend.

Riot'd brown, and cream tuffed ears flexed back, as Nikita's paw loomed over his head. Ducking his head just a little, bright blue eyes looked up at the other cub, noticing the spread of her toes.

Parting his Maw in a smile, Riot's tail swayed gently to the side.

"We could, huh." The cub spoke, ducked his front half and taking the opertunity of her balancing on her hind legs, to pay her back. The cub leaped forward for a tackle; the Tahtll had thought of getting her back for that pin eariler.

The idea of sleep was far from them, after all they where at their shelter if something happened.

Right?

Nikita was already watching Riot carefully when he decided to move in for payback. With quick instincts she hopped backward, her body flailing around slightly like a noodle as she moved back. No, she wasn't tired either and if he was willing to continue to play, than she was more than willing to keep having fun.

That's what life was about. Fun.

On the second bound back Nikita sprung forward to bring her playful paws down on Riot's head and bring him back to the ground. Her tail flailed about happily while she released a mewl.

As Riot jumped forward, Nikita was quick to counter.

Paws landed on on the top of the Tahtll, just as he lunged forward only to fell the weight of gravity and the other cub's counter. Maw crash landed in the earth, as paws landed flatly on the ground.

Well, that was effective.

Scrunched closed eyes, that had sealed themselves from the fall timidly pulled themselves partly open to look up-as best as he could- at Nikita,

She had gotten him....again.

Hearing her victorious mew, the other cub's tail whipped around. Claws extended and dug lightly in the ground as oversize paws flexed in the sand....

"Hey, you are pretty good..." The Earth spoke, as his head tired at tilting at the side to get a better look at Nikita. He hadn't been able to pin her yet, but he wasn't going to give up trying. One day he would. He was determined to do so.

Nikita puffed proudly to the praise. Her whole frame quivered with pride, that is, until she noticed that she had still been standing on top of his head. With a soft 'ups' she bounced back than rest both paws on the ground.

"Thank you." She beamed proudly.

Perhaps it was because she had less to move. He did seem heavier than her, and with her past experience with heavy rocks, they did not move easily. Riot was of the Earth, so he probably didn't move as fast sometimes. Fire was supposed to move fast, so maybe that was why she was so fast.

"I was already on my feet, and bouncing is fun." Nikita added with a small shake of her frame. "Do you know any more games?"

Pink tuff, head and all rested under Nikita's paws as she puffed proudly. As much as he didn't mind it, he started to squirm a little, until he was free and permitted to rise. Popping up to his four paws rather quickly, he quickly shook at his coat once more.

Releasing a huff, the cub flopped once more on his back side. Raising a brown paw, he licked the top of it and then did what he could to 'fix' the tuff of fur on his head. That had been so 'kindy' fluffed and warped by Nikita's own paws.

Strangely he wasn't bugged by it, the constant failing to pin her.

Because, he knew he would in time, he just had to be better.

And after all, she did ask him if he knew anything 'fun'. The Tahtll did like to have fun, and she was right to ask him about it.

Setting down his paw, Riot nodded to the other cub.

Though, he didn't have any ideas at the moment....

Hmmm, turning his he looked behind them to their rock shelter then back to Nikita.

"Do you think we really could find a pink rock?"  

[GunSniper]

Nikita watched Riot carefully as he fixed the pink tuft she had so kindly "styled" for him in their last tackle. She leaned forward a little, ready to re-style it as quick as possible.

"Yes!" She burst before his words even left his tongue. Her ears perked forward.

"If there is one to be found, than we will find it... " Her eyes brightened. "Can you sense rocks?"

She wasn't sure. It didn't 'feel' like it was something that would be likely, but as a young cub anything might have been possible. If anything it would be fun to look and possibly run into more cool stuff. There was so much that they could discover, it wouldn't be a disappointment. That and his hair was pink. They already found that.

Riot's eyes widened just faintly as if to see the 'look' on the other cub's face. He almost winced a little as if to prepare for the lick, only to stop as her response was released.

Rather intensely.

Ears flipped back as a head shrunk in a bit, wow. This cub was so vibrant, just like the spark of fire she was.

"I don't think so." Riot perked up himself, as he let his tone grow in his own excitement. She seemed to have a habit of spreading her excitement.

Hopping a little, his front paws spread out just a little....

"It would be cool, if I could." The cub then claimed, then looked down....

maybe he could and just didn't know it.

"Maybe I can..." Blue eyes flashed upward and back at Nikita-just as hopeful.

Nikita looked around to Riot's claim not to know the answer. Well, there was only one way to find out, but they would have to leave the safe rock-pile to look. The sun had already given up its travels and hid behind the distant hills. The sky was such a deep blue it caused the many many stars to stand out in their proud sparkling display.

"We could go look now..." Nikita suggested with a tilt of her head. "That would be the only way to find out... than we would have to leave these rocks though."

Her eyes brightened again as her smile broadened. Her teeth peeking from under her lip a little as her lips stretched.

"You -did- find these rocks... So maybe it is true." She looked back at their "fort" (Calling it that now) . "Maybe you can even find a bigger fort! I think you can."

He knew -everything- ofcourse he could.

Riot's postured srightened a little, as Nikita suggested them leaving now to look. Turning his head to look over the dunes, his face took a more concentrated look.

It didn't seem like a good idea to go out. Something just seemed to tell him that....

"Tonight, we should stay here." Riot nodded as if relaying a message heard from another. Two little cubs, as strong and feirce as they where, they where still vary small, and for the most part helpless kittens-in a vary big new world. No matter how much they might contest such a fact.

Sitting down once more, Riot's tail moved around his legs and paws, as if to physically show his decision. "We can leave when the sun wakes once more..." The tip of RIot's tail twitched, as Nikita contuined to speak, and pet his skills with compalments.

"Yeah." The Tahtll spoke as his ears perked in agreement, Nikita really know what she was talking about. She was really determind, and sure of herself. She must!

Nikita held her gaze on Riot with wide-eyed fascination. When he moved to sit on his haunches, she moved to sit on her own. As if she were his perfect mirror, she than also curled her tail around her forepaw and allowed the tip to bobble.

The were going now where. She was okay with that.

"Okay, that sounds good." She glanced back at where the sun had disappeared, hoping it would just decide to come back. Nope.

"Well, what can we do around here tha- We could make our rocks the best ones ever." Nikita's ears perked forward as she offered the suggestion. If there were any more forts out there they would be bested easily by theirs.

Nodding to Nikita, it was good to see she agreed with the idea of staying at their 'fort', till morning.

Watching her head turn and look at where the sun's sleeping place was at.

"Don't worry, it will come back up." Riot smiled, as if that was Nikita might had been curious about as she looked to where the sun had went to bed.

Tapping his tail rymithcly and mindless, Riot's head tilted a little as she spoke about making their rocks the best ones.

"Well, it already is, because they are ours." The cub, strightened and puffed his chest a little. Their rocks where the best already.

But they could explore them, and find the best spot right?

"hmn?" Nikita looked back to Riot as he assured her the sun would be back. But when? That question had no chance to leave her lips before he gave his next amazing statement.

Mind blown by awesome logic. Her eyes widened. That made perfect sense! Everything they owned was the best. It had to have been that way. Riot said so.

She puffed in response to Riot's own proud stance.

"Really? Wow..." She gasped and allowed herself to glance at their superior fort. "... You are really smart. If you say it is, than it is true. I'm glad a found you, there is so much I wouldn't have known."

All her focus returned to the majestic guru infront of her.
