Yes, once a fan, a fan for life. NOT a bandwagon rider. And shorter lines for replica jerseys than the line for Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, OK! OK! I'm a poor soul already! LOL

It's not quite that. It's just you have Everton who have to be one of the most boring footballing sides in the Premiership; and you have Aston Villa, who with Doug Ellis refusing to let his managers spend any money [they firing them for not producing the good] are doomed to mediocrity season after season ad infinitum. West Ham and Wigan were both promoted this season and they play better stuff than Everton and Villa. gonk

(Sighs forlornly) I just wish I could see matches on a regular basis. MLS matches are getting better but, even they are only broadcast once per week.

Football is probably my most hated sport.
That and rugby.

I find the prospect of a summer filled with knuckle dragging Homo Retardus beating their chests chanting "Ing-ger-laaaaand!" and grunting "Mongo like football!" utterly repellant.....

My general opinion is "Meh...so what."

..and as such, I'd never get far in politics.

I'm not much of a fan for football. But I suppose I'd support Plymouth Argyle (Yes, I know they're not great) due to the fact that I live in Plymouth.

I don't care about the world cup. I don't particularly care for any spectator sports.

This year might be the first time I have actually watched the world cup, owing to the fact that I'm working in a bar.

It's not that bad really, quite enjoyable. I'm possibly the only scot in Aberdeen supporting England, but hey ho.

I was talking about this actually and I came to realise that I still wouldn't wear an england shirt or fly the flag, even though I will happily support them and want them to win.

I just couldn't do it and I don't know why...

also someone is smoking beneath my window. Piss off random person, you smell.

Driving home through Bedford town centre late Tuesday night I saw many an England, sorry, " Ing-ger-laaand" supporter vomiting & urinating in the street as well as screamingabuse at the assembled police presence...I have never been more proud to be a Welsh/Scottish mongrel in my entire life.....

A man got dragged out of his car and punched in the face yesterday for wearing an england top and putting english flags on his windows here.

I can't help feeling there might be a little more to the story than the papers are making out, but sometimes people do just go out looking for a fight.

Prime Minister Tony Blair yesterday condemned an unprovoked racist attack on a disabled England fan in a north-east street as "appalling and totally unjustifiable".

Ian Smith was dragged from his car on Tuesday by a muscular man in his mid-40s who apparently took exception to the fact he was wearing an England shirt and flying a small flag from his vehicle.

The 41-year-old former postman, who hails from Peterborough but has lived in Aberdeen for 12 years, was beaten on the face, leaving him with a badly-bruised right eye and double vision.

Did anyone see the Australians go up against the Croats? Damn good game! Loads of drama! Mr. Poll... what are you at booking Simunic THREE TIMES!?!?! xd I thought he was very poor during that match, I mean.. missing a blatant hand ball by the same player who handled it before, waving on Viduka's claim for a penalty just after he was basically rugby tackled by Simunic and allowing Kewell's goal after being offside.
I must say I think it was one of the most entertaining game so far. With me sideing with the Socceroos I found it to be as tence as if it where England playing. Definately a game to remember, Kewell has scored the biggest goal in Australia's history.
But Poll was awful. What makes it worse is the fact he is a British ref! The Croats played dirty and the Australians fought and fought to get through. well deserved in my opinion. Good luck against Italy.
