[PRP] Don't Treat Me Like That (Sammy v Jove)

Jove was no stranger to cursing, especially when is FEAR was involved. For some reason it was more likely than a mere bite or kick to result in swearing, but the pup wasn't exactly sure why. He was perfectly fine amidst the spores.

Sammy seemed to have momentarily reached a standstill, so Jove took that opportunity to stay close, and chomp on her once again with those sharp teeth.

Sammy squirmed in the grip she stopped breathing and kept her eyes shut, even as the mushroom spore drifted away she was still stuck tangled up in the little foxfires arms. Squirming about she let out a yelp as he bit her again.

"How do you still have teeth!?"

She leaned back before leaning forward to bash her head against Jove's trying to knock him off with a headbutt.

It had been a half-bite at best, but any amount of teeth could still hurt when paired with the fearlessness and determination the little pup possessed. The bonk on the head was enough to dislodge him with a strangled bark of pain and surprise, but that was only for a split second. He was too close, and to let that distance get any wider might cost him the battle.

So rather than step away and retreat to a safer distance, he swung back and chomped Sammy once more.

She felt it, as half his teeth found her flesh again her fear wavered, her eyes flashed empty tiny flames taking a moment to light back up.

"Y-yield pup yield!" She squirmed away from Jove stumbling backwards to bounce against the punching bag slumping onto her rear as the weary ware and tare took over from the fight.

"S-s**t... you... that spore s**t is cheap."

Jove staggered back himself, falling to a clumsy seat on the floor a couple feet away. Sammy might have backed off first, but she had taken a good chunk out of his strength too. He felt like he had been hit by a car.

His head tilted, one fluffy ear perked in confusion. He didn't know about cheap shots, he just knew about looking weak, and getting beaten back by hunters, and not being good enough. And in a backwards manner he knew about seizing the offense wherever he could. Sammy had strong fists, he had a bizarre tendency to grow mushrooms. No cheap shots there, just... mushrooms.

The little ghost rubbed at the left side of his face, and began hesitantly testing the teeth that remained there.
