so then people, the first quite a few episodes of the death note anime are out there!
what do you think? how do you like it?
i'm happy with it so far... first i was really suspicious coz normally animes tend to be much worse then their manga counterpart (at least in MHO, take bleach for example...)
but this i really like til now.... i think it's done well, the art seems good throughout and i like how they worked with the movie as well... lets hope they keep it up this well...
what do you guys think?
i still haven't seen the movie yet though.... really have to try to get it some time...

I love it! The style is so faithful to the manga, i was pleased at that. But i have yet to see L. Gimme L dammit!

i think that the anime follows the manga really well and keeps the mangas overall feel with it ^_^

Felicien xd L is soooo great i agree!!! he's just the best ... so gorgeous... heart i'm just sooooooo annoyed that misa will probably be in the some of the next eps... i HATE HER!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH.... why does she have to be in??? please someone agree with me that she's a b***h...... xp Not a b***h. She'd have to be vindictive, and she'd need a brain. But she is annoying. Oh so very annoying. The fact that she’s dumber than a brick doesn’t help.

Misa is annoying and great. Because shes quite clearly meant to be an airhead, and shes so blinded by her love for Light, she can't see the fact that he pretty much despises her and is only using her. How many times does he consider bumping her off in the manga? Heh.

It's a combination of stupidity and idol worship. She's not a smart girl to begin with, combine that with the fact that ship worships the ground he walks on... Yeah, she'll do anything for even a glance in her direction. Which is why it's so easy for Raito to manipulate the dumb broad.
