"Well if there is anything I can do to help let me know. I'll be more than happy to help." He said with a nod. "It'd be interesting to see you do it, but fifty or so years is quite a long ways away... well to me anyways. Maybe not so much for you." He shrugged, watching as someone left the store. He hopped back over the counter and checked the aisles. Once he was sure that nobody else was their he shut the blinds and flipped the sign to closed.

She smiled and watched as he hopped over the desk and closed everything. "I can't imagine anything you could do to help me. It's something that I have to do on my own really." She replied as she lowered her legs off of the desk and stood up. Maura gazed around, wondering what else a being with a pulse could do around here. "So, you're job is over now?" She asked, thinking that that wasn't such a long job like other's she has seen have.

"Normally I'd just go and get lunch or something. But seeing as it's my store I can do what I want." He said with a nod, organizing a little bit as he went through the aisles of books. "I haven't taken a real break in years. Figure it can't hurt to do it once in a while right?" He asked, popping out from one of the aisles as he went back to the front of the shop. He was a little disappointed there was no way he could help her, but he understood.

She smiled at him and folded her hands behind her back. "Well, if lunch is what you usually get, then have some. It's important for living beings to gain nutrience to keep on living." She replied, holding back a giggle. Maura was slightly envious of those with a pulse for having the ability to eat and choose what they eat. She missed the taste of food. Though, she has a theory that if she can fully become solid, then maybe there is a chance that she could really savor the tastes of food once again. "I think taking break is good. You wouldn't want to over work yourself to exhaustion." She added with a sincere smile and a slight tilt to the side of her head.

Nero watched her as he made sure his wolf parts were hidden and waited for her to finish before he spoke again. "I suppose if anyone would know about that it'd be use. But of course I'm not going to starve myself or anything." He said with a smile as he opened the door and headed outside. "Just have to find a place to get something to eat."

Maura's smile grew wider as she followed him out the door. Even though she was envious that he was able to eat, she also found it amusing to watch living beings eat. It had been a little over two hundred years since she last had eaten something. Every now and then, she took a fancy in watching humans and other beings eat their meals. "Well, do you know of any good places in the area?" She asked, curious as to watch he would choose to devour.

Nero thought about it a little bit as he started walking down the streets, keeping out of peoples ways as he wormed his way through crowds. There was enough chatter going on where he didn't quite care if anyone thought he was talking to himself, few people would even realize it if any. "There's a sub shop just down the street from here. I think I'll just grab something from their to go."

Maura followed him down, watching as he weaved through people as she just walked through them. A smile played on her face as she kept pace with him. "Why not sit and eat at the sub shop?" She asked, thinking that it would be interesting to watch other people eat as well.

"Why?" He thought about it for a second and shrugged. "I don't have to worry about hiding if I get it to go." He said with a small shrug, hoping she would understand what she meant. "Couldn't hurt to eat their I suppose though either. I guess it really doesn't matter."

"If you feel more comfortable eating back at the book store, then don't allow me to change your mind." She replied with a friendly smile. The last thing Maura wanted to do was make some poor living being do something that he wasn't comfortable doing. She liked that he felt safe exposing his true self in the bookshop.

"Home it is then." He said softly and entered into the sub shop and things instantly got a lot quieter once the door closed behind him, blocking out the sounds from outside. He walked up to the counter and ordered himself a meatball sub. Once the meal was made and paid for he headed back outside and onto the streets, heading back to his place this time.

She followed him out of the sub shop and made no attempt to dodge humans passing by. Maura floats beside him, wondering where his living space was and what it looked like. Of course, it was obvious that he lived alone. So there wouldn't be any awkward roommates where they were going. Though, that brought a thought to mind; Maura was curious as to what it was like to have a roommate. "Alrighty then." She chirped with a wider smile.
