Do you have really thick hair then? I can't use conditioner because the slightest amount makes me grease up crying

i have really thick hair yeah. i noticed my hair used to get super greasy when i used to wash it every day, then accidentally skip a day. my hair would be so gross ugh.

but then i started dying my hair, and me wanting the color to stay longer, i would wash it less often, and condition more often. and eventually i guess my body adjusted to it because after a couple of days my hair feels fine.

My hair is super fine and emosensitive and doesn't do well with skipping a day when it comes to hair washing.

I haven't figured out a way to keep color in longer aside from using color tone shampoo.

that depends on the type of dye your using and your upkeep. if you wash your hair in cold water at the beginning of your shower, and only for a couple of minutes then for the duration of the shower keep your hair in a showercap, you will probably notice a bit of a difference in color duration!

i should really follow my own advice though. because after a fresh dye job im all big on the upkeep for like two weeks before i say "alright enough of this s**t" and just wash my hair without all that fuss.

right my hair is a beautiful greyish purple all because i got tired of sticking my face in freezing cold water lmfao

have you tried shampoo without sulfates? burt's bees makes a pretty nice color-saving one

ill give it a shot! ill probably keep my regimine of washing every other day still though
