Considering how long that joke has been going, yes. xd You know I am disappoint to find this is actual discussion about sandwiches. You so lured me here on purpose. *gets out the cat o'nine tails* lol
I was actually thinking about a different conversation I was having with someone else about the amount of cheese that goes on a grilled cheese sandwich. While writing the OP was when I thought of that joke. Since I didn't see you online, I figured you would be sleeping. :P

[color=emo] Sachie Whitby [color=emo] basically anything with proscuitto is GLORIOUS My favorite thing to do with proscuitto is to use it when making beef wellington, but that's not a sandwich. Although beef wellington turned into a sandwich might be tasty. i've never had beef wellington before o__o prosciutto is also amazing wrapped around smallish balls of bocconcini, and served on a leaf of spinach & cracker if you're feeling like canapes xD

It looks deceptively intimidating and hard because of the puff pastry but if you sear the meat in a frying pan on all sides without actually cooking it all the way through then let it cool down, it becomes super easy. Doing this keeps all the meat juices inside the meat where you want it, so that it doesn't leak into your pasty thus ruining it.
Pretty much what I do is lay down prosciutto strips then coat it with the pate of choice, then wrap the beef tenderloin up in that. After making a nice little package, I then wrap all of that up in the puff pastry then cut slits to vent.
So easy.
