I randomly decided to do a quick sketch of my gaia avi as it is now and color it slightly ^^; nothing too special just something I can throw in my store and use as practice... been lacking in drawing anime related stuff as of recently, and people in general working too much on story board backgrounds and school projects.

I haven't done anything new due to clientele book illustration commissions. But here is a sample of works that I've done so far in the past. None edited with Photoshop, (o_o cause at the moment, tired of editing art of mine on the computer.) all done with pencil. Based on my level of boredom and what-not.

xp My scanner chopped off the tip of the ear and toes on this one, wasn't expecting it to do that.

lol, i just noticed! all of these cover one eye xD i usually dont do that. how weird. haha, and if you noticed that i suck at hands then congraz, because it's not all that hard to tell ^^;

As for what I am currently working on this is the sketch in progress of Red Cardinal (My DC Comics OC character) Not to be mistaken for Robin, since she has red hair and unlike boys has a chest... I hate it when people think every teen with a mask is Robin.


Also I noticed that only her R showing on her right side... Her symbol is an R resting on a C for RC "Red Cardinal ^^;...

Also for the comment above about being overwhelmed with anime... Well is that because of my avi I posted before... if so then stare I should have you all know that just because it's a person that's stylized that it doesn't mean it's anime styled and if someone says this is anime styled I will shoot them in the Knee. Seriously anime is old hat. on little line, even dots for mouths, eyes that take up 75% of their face alone, very very elongated anatomy, tiny feet, small hands, pointy hair that defies gravity... that is what anime is. Anything other than that is only a variation if not a style of it's own.

Why thank you ^^ the two bottom sketches are actually a really new style i devolved a week ago. It was quite shocking.

I've been trying sketches for a while this is like the first I've done thats been more then just a face. I'm really happy with the way it came out.

I... Forgot! : D

it was done in SAI. I think it might of been the Marker, or this Pen/Airbrush setting that I stole from my friend.
