"You think I'm cute?" Now he was really confused. If she thought he was cute she had made no signs of it before.

Stopping she turned and looked at him. "Of course, haven't you looked in the mirror lately?" Why was that so confusing? Maybe she was saying something wrong? No, she couldn't be that out of touch with society.  

[NightWerewolf]

"I have... Just haven't had anyone call me cute in a while." He said with a soft chuckle. "Alhtough I'm not complaining." He said with a smile.

"I didn't mean it like that," she said in surprise. Good grief.  

[NightWerewolf]

"Never said I meant it like anything. Just saying nobody has called me cute in a while." Nero shrugged.  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"In a while? So your girlfriend doesn't tell you that you're cute," she asked tipping her head to the side. Not a very good girlfriend in her opinion.  

[NightWerewolf]

"I don't have a girlfriend at the moment. Recently broke up with my last one... So yeah." He said looking at her.  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"Oh, I'm sor...no wait. You said the last one? How many have you had?" He was turning out to be even more puzzling. She hated it.  

[NightWerewolf]

He chuckled a bit. "Only a few. Except for this last one I'm still friends with the others."

"So you dated them but did you not ever think one of them might be your mate?" Everything with the Old Ones had been about control and mates. It was engrained in her. Alina couldn’t imagine wasting her time with a guy that wasn’t her mate.  

[NightWerewolf]

"I wouldn't go out with anyone if I didn't. There are just some things that don't work out." He said with a soft sigh. Even now the Old Ones had been telling everyone his age about mates again... and again... and again.

"Huh, I guess so." This conversation was making her head hurt. "Let's drop the subject and find my next prey." She at her list again and smiled. “This next one is going to be super fun.”  

[NightWerewolf]

"I can't way to see what happens when you get to number one." Nero chuckled softly as he walked with her.

She sighed blissfully. "I have something special plan for her. She won't ever forget my smiling face." Alina had to admit that when she matured and became the Alpha a dark hole entered her mind.

Nero couldn't help but laugh a bit. "So, what do you plan on doing after you get your revenge."
