I like anime better. I like to see things in motion rather than read them. I only have like 3 mangas on my shelf. There kind of expensive where I live. I don't usually buy anime dvds or vhs. What is the point when they show it on TV?

For a better reaction, I'd choose anime. Its always been like that. I have bought mangas but I enjoy reading them after I finish a series. In some cases, I have liked the manga more. Take Bleach for example, I get more laughs from the manga then from the TV show, so I'd prefer the manga over the anime on that one.

I watch the anime first before i acutally read it most of my friends have the show not the books i like the movies/shows compared to the books like chrono chrusade the show gave more info on where everything comes in place and you dont have to read

Both anime and manga have good view points. I like both cause they give a perspective mostly different than the other. Manga gives you something to remember though!

As for price I suppose it's where one would shop. I once went shopping.. and I bought a 6 disk set of Super GALS! Ran Kotobuki for $40.00 and then went out to buy 4 new manga that cost me another $40.00. But I think I hit it good with the 6 disk DVD set considering it was a 6 disk set that would probably be worth about $120..? ahaha X_X;
