Lyle calmed herself down enough to unbarry her face from the menu. Her cheeks her a bit pink still, but for the most she was calmer. "Oh. Well, I've never dated anyone. Since my parents are to over protective, they scare all the boys away." Lyle said with a slight frown. Her eyes scanned the menu, this time she was really reading it. She couldn't decide what to eat, everything seemed so delicious. And if it was up to her, she would order the whole menu and be able to eat it all too. It was some weird genetic that wolves had; being able to eat more than their weight in one day and still have a great body. That was a fast motabolism that some humans didn't have.

"Then the guys must not have been that interested. Over protective parents are one thing, but I think if you really like someone you learn to deal or try to win the parents." He scaned the menu and thought about getting a burger or some kind of pasta. He really didn't know what to choose.

"Or, my parents are just that scary to others." Lyle replied with a small smile. She still didn't know what to get, and she knew it wasn't guaranteed to fill her. She was most likely going to have to run through the forest for a late night snack later. Definitely later, after she hung out with Skye. Lyle finally decided on what to get, it wasn't much, or in her opinion it wasn't, but it seemed good enough. "Hm, I think I finally found something to order." She said softly as she closed the menu and placed it down gently.

"What are you going to get?" He asked still trying to pick something himself. He wasn't sure if he wanted heavy carbs or meat. It was such a decision at the moment. He wasn't all that used to variety in meals. So this was a bit odd.

"I'm going for the T-bone steak." Lyle replied with a wide smile. She loved meat, especially stake. She could also smell it right now cooking for someone else's order. "How about you?" She asked, thinking that he was probably having a hard time choosing also. There were so many good meals on the menu, and Lyle wished this was a buffet just so she could eat everything that was listed.

"I think I'm gonna go for the burger.... Bacon cheese burger actually." Skye was happy with his choice but wished they were at a buffet so he could have a pasta side. But this is what they were at, maybe some other time they could find one. That is if they were to do something like this again. He hoped so.

Lyle blushed, him getting a bacon cheeseburger made her feel a little uncomfortable because she was getting something more filling than him. She smiled at him and giggled. "Wow, you make me seem like a fatass." She joked. She really liked hanging out with him, and really hoped that he would be free tomorrow.

"Your so not... you just have a healthy appetite. Which is better then just having a salad and starving yourself." Skye hated making her feel bad, "But I could order something bigger if it would make you feel better?" He didn't really mind, he could probably eat more anyway.

Lyle giggled and shook her head. "No, it's ok, but I wish this place was a buffet." She said with a wide grin. She loved food, and yet she was probably the most skinniest person he had ever seen. It was just that wolf motabolism that she had.

"Me too... would make it easier to chose what to want to eat and portions." Skye was glad they were on the same page wishing they were at a buffet.

Lyle giggled again. "Yeah, it would be so much easier. Maybe tomorrow?" She asked, hoping he would say yes. She really wanted to hang out with him tomorrow again.

Lyle nodded and smiled. "Mhm, we would definitely need to wonder around town some more." She said happily as the waitress came over with a smile plastered on her face. Lyle could tell that she didn't like her job.

Skye ordered noticing the waitress as well, just before she flirted a bit with him. He let Lyle order first and then gave the girl his. She walked away a little happier for some reason. "So how long have you been in town anyway?" He couldn't remember if she had told him already or not.

Lyle has noticed that the waitress was flirting with Skye. It made her a bit jealous, and she was ready to tackle the girl down and rip her throat out. Wait! She needed to calm down before that actually did happen. She was being a little too over protective over a boy that she wasn't even dating...yet. She calmed herself down and just smiled at Sky. "Just a day or two." She replied.
