"Yeah. My parents made it bigger a few years ago when he had a lot of guests. But after that this place has been pretty dead." He said and started getting out a few pans to cook with.

"I like cooking, but to be honest I haven't really been to any real parties." He said with a shrug. It was sad, he knew that, but that's what happened when you grew up in the middle of nowhere.

"Either way I'm sure it's a good time." He said with a nod and threw some fish into one of the pans once it was heated up. "By the way, how do you like your veggies?"

"Any time. You're welcome to stay as long as you wish too." He smiled and filled a smaller pan up with water. Placing a strainer on top of the pan he put veggies down on top of it and waited for the water to boil.

He didn't know whether she was talking about around the inn or to help cooking, but assumed it was for cooking. "If you can find some spices and get some plates out that would be nice."
