I was watching MTV2 one day and the ad for Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge came on. I loved their sound, but before I bought the CD, I wanted to actually hear them, so, next thing you know, "I'm Not Okay" comes on and after that, I was hooked. :9

they were on the Warped Tour last year so they were in quite a few magazines I read, so I decided to check them out one day. I went toone of the listening stations at Virgin Mega and i instantly fell in love with them and HAD to buy their CD. Therefore, I lived happily ever after. The End. biggrin

I saw them live when they were opening for Avenged Sevenfold. I remember not knowing who the hell they were. It was really annoying at first too, because there were a whole lot of girls who were only there because they thought Gerard was sexy. I didn't have any expectations for them, so when I heard their music performed on stage, I was blown away. I couldn't help but love it. It's kind of rare to find songs really catchy when you see a band live that you've never heard before, but they did it. Almost a month after the concert I heard Demolition Lovers when a friend played it for me and I was like, "Oh, that's My Chemical Romance, right?" I ran out and bought Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, and eventually saved up enough to buy I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. I can't get enough of them now. Completely addicted. xd

I had heard I'm Not Okay (I Promise) on the radio. Liked it, thought it was pretty cool. Saw both music videos for it, liked them even better. Then I heard Helena one night and the song just spoke to me. When I saw the music video, I fell in love with the band, ran out and got Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, and won't stop playing it. I want their first cd though, and some merchandise (broke), and s**t I just want them!

huh, thought I posted in here confused
well, it was back in the summer of 04 and I saw a comercial on Fuse for "three cheers" I didn't pay all to much attention to it because I thought it was just another band that sounds exactly the same as any other one.. But in August I watched the warped special on fuse, and I liked the song they played, but yet again, I didn't go any further. So in... I think it was like november I Watched the making of "i'm not okay (I promise)" and I thought the video was funny as hell and I liked the song alot. but once more, I didn't go any further. Then in January I got to go to the mall in Erie (we had been wanting to go there for 4 months) its so far from were I live, that we don't get to go much. And we went to hottopic. we had to have been there for a good 3 hours, but while we were looking in the discount section (thats the only place were I buy things ><) they started to play this song (it was "You know what they do to guys like us in prison"). I started to tap my foot and I was like "kelsey (she is my best friend) who is this?" and she said "its my chemical romance" and I'm like "holy s**t! no way!!" because to me at the time "You know what they do to guys like us in prison" sounded nothing like "im not okay" and they basically played the whole CD while we were there, and I fell in love with every song, and a couple weeks later I bought "three cheers for sweet revenge" I coundn't stop listening to it, I was obsessed, then I read a billion interview, and fell in love with the band. and then last sunday I bought "bullets" and I love this CD just as much! and so thats how it happened whee
