A Lost Iguana
I take myself seriously. All guilds need an Arsenal supporting physicist. It is my job to be the lowest of the low. Apart from CS people... no they are lower.

I agree; most of the people I know who play Counter Strike are complete n00bs. Harhar puns are so great.

I guess I'm quickly becoming your token gamer girl. As in girl who plays video games. As in 40-year-old balding man with gravy stains on his vest named Bob who masquerades as a gamer girl while on the internet. I take that role seriously.

Ugh... You mean I've been talking to a 40 year old MAN named Bob? OMG. I feel so tainted now. And after all those things you told me, and all the things we did on MSN! :O I'm lying of course, but it is fun to see other people's reaction to this.

Yes, I was like O.O and now that entire last post looks kind of stupid because grammar flew right out the window. xd Anyway, w00t or something. Another American! Are we slowly infiltrating the British base of operations? :O

Yes. ninja *Waves a pitiful little American flag*

In high school, I had six weeks of world history and a full year of American history, how ******** up is that? biggrin I really enjoyed world history too but only because I actually knew things that most of the dribbling tards in my class did not. I guess some people like to be close minded towards the world.

They should probably introduce compulsory British history, it might be rather successful in deflating a few egoes and show some of your more belligerent individuals a more mutually beneficial template for conducting international affairs.

Still, at least there are enough of a better sort still about to keep me hoping that change in the US political system may still occur.
Yes, I will concede that there was an embarrassing overuse of the word "still" in that last sentence.

Well I admit that the US has huge faults, specially in our education system, of which I am a hopeless result. I swear that the schools are more interrested in pushing it's students through rather than actually teaching. Half the time I feel like a complete idiot talking to my over seas friends, because they are far more educated.

Half the time they're much younger than myself as well.. sweatdrop I'm working on it, but it's still embarrasing and frustrates me to no end. I blame myself partially for being a slacker but I dont take all the fault in this one.

All in all though, I love my country. Then again, I used to live in beautiful mountain country, sadly I've been brought to the crowded city. I've been to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. All were beautiful and I had a great time, but I still cherish my mountain home.

I cant wait to see Britain. I'll make it there one of these days. You can count on it. =^^=

Well at least you can take comfort in the fact that some British schools and colleges are s**t too- coursework tamplates anyone? Philosophy students that don't know anything about philosophy? Teachers telling their students what to write?
Ah- this is what happens when your philosophy teacher is a chief examiner!

I'm currently in grade 10. We're required to take a full year of World History. And out of that, only about 2 weeks are on Britain. It's possibly the smallest unit we'll do all year. rolleyes And it's mostly about how 'unfair' Britain was/is and about the terrible taxes and tea. >.<

...and not about that time when a minority terrorist movement took control of a country ruled by a democratic government, thus prolonging slavery and preventing freedom and equality for all people?

There are probably more Americans in this guild than there are British.

xd That's so true, and I think most of them dislike America as well. The guild should start a charity in England. Save the Americans! And you can save up money to give to us so we can get out of here. 3nodding

No. That would take funds away from those who really want to get out. 3nodding
