I want to improve my ability to add in those little unnecessary yet delicious details that draw the reader in. That and I want to be more quit witted... I've never done this before so I'm afraid I may not know what to say at times sweatdrop

Hmm... Maybe something like this.

Zique drew out his sword and slashed at his opponent. He then spun swiftly behind him and slashed behind him.

Okay, that's crappy. But something like that. When I attack I always use the word "slash". I know there are other words like cut, wound, injure or something but somehow I always end up using SLASH. Maybe I just got used to it or something.

I find that when this happens to me and I repeat the same word over, I use an online thesaurus to help me out and give me a new perspective.

So you want t learn how to put more detail into your writing. Do you mean like, writing out how your character does something, or adding more fluff?

I'd like to learn how to add in more detail into my posts, so then I'll be able to write more. The most I can do right now is about three paragraphs, but I'd like to know how to write more, but with more detail, whether it be unneccassary or neccessary detail :3
