Or you emailing the provider with the person's username or order.

Code phrases would work best actually, where you are required to fill in a word or phrase that will give you your discount or benefit. However, how a deal is set up is best worked out by the store owner.

Blast from the past!

I've laid my hands on some new Eldar, including a box of Dire Avengers, an Autarch on Jetbike, and a Wave Serpent. I'm also going to start repainting my jetbikes, and I've got more Dire Avengers and a second Warwalker inbound from my Sekret Santa (Thanks, DZ!).

Expect pictures tonight or tomorrow, I've made some good progress on my Warwalker, and am working on the Wave Serpent as well.

Edit: Here's a photo of the current array of Eldar I've got that are going to be adapted to Firestorm Eldar. Most of them are going to need to be re-primed and started anew from.

Also, if anyone has two more matchingly old-school Striking Scorpions, let me know; I'm pretty sure I can't find any like those at the stores.

I love the Dire Avenger plastic kit. The sprues are clearly labeled to show which arms go together, so you don't have to fish around for the one that fits right. There's also at least 3 easy ways to create unique Exarchs with dual Shuriken Catapults.

Holy.. I just looked through this thread. The guy that is Dark Art Miniatures and makes those bases.. He lives just on the other side of town. I have been to his house to pick up an order of Urban bases. He gave me two free tank traps too.

Well, two and a half years after starting the idea of these guys, I've finally finished my first concept model for the Firestorm Altansar army. Here is the Dire Avenger Exarch, fully painted with the scheme that I'm going to match the rest of the army to. biggrin

Okay, now that the Exarch is done, I want to get the rest of the squad done to match. I'm missing 2 of the parts on the back part of the waist though, so I need to either find them or order replacements. We'll see. Currently gluing together his squadmates.

Well, I found those pieces, so the Dire Avenger squad is back on track.

What I'm looking at in terms of Altansar and what I have right now:

10 Dire Avengers (new)
1 Wave Serpent (new)
1 Autarch on Jetbike (new)
2 Warwalkers (new)
6 Jetbikes (rebuild/repaint)
1 Avatar (rebuild/repaint)
1-2 Falcons (rebuild/repaint)

I need to get some of my old Eldar stripped as much as possible, take the mold lines off, and then repaint them. I just finished priming the Wave Serpent black, equipping it with a TL shuriken cannons and the shuriken cannon upgrade.

Does anyone have experience with repainting old models, and/or stripping paint off of them?

Wave Serpent update, primed. Question is, should I add a spare flag from the Dire Avengers to show the Altansar emblem, and if so, where?

I'm using a 60mm lava base with a hole drilled for the flying stand, worked pretty well in terms of stability.
