Once again, the time had come for them to part. The time she always dreaded. It pained her that the time had finally come but she knew she would see him again. Two days. Though she knew it would be the harder, longest two days of her life. Felicia rested her head on his shoulders as he just held her. Trying to take in every scent, every feel that surrounded her. "I hate that we must part again." She sighed and looked up at him. "But I will see you in two days time. I promise."

The half moon above in the sky told her that it really was getting late. Her body was tired but her mind and heart were still full of energy. Felicia gently kissed Firther one more time before letting go and turning back to her friend. The letting go part was always the hardest thing.

Tessa rubbed her thumbs against Ihaco's hands. His skin was still soft as it was before. She knew that she was beginning "Of course I will come meet you. Though, I do believe tomorrow won't come any faster. I hate how our kingdoms must always be at war. How people like you and I and Firther and Felicia can never be." Tessa looked over at her best friend who was smiling at her as Firther continued to hold her tightly. "But I don't care about the wars and the fighting. Or even that we're supposed to be enemies." Tessa looked back up to Ihaco. A few leaves, she noticed, were sprouting from his hair. Carefully, she took them out before continuing on. "All I care about is you. So I will see you tomorrow." The two kissed gently, at first, but couldn't help but make it more intense. Both of them yearned for each other now that they had a taste.

Felicia cleared her throat and Tessa broke apart as she blushed. "Tomorrow." She smiled and began to back away as the two began to change into their form. The two ran all the way back and didn't stop until they were back in Felicia's room. Felicia sat on the bed while Tessa looked out the window.

"He's not there, you know." Felicia smiled as she had repeated what Tessa had said to her not too long ago. Tessa smiled but said nothing. She wanted to be back with Ihaco so badly. She couldn't want anything more than him. She sat behind Tessa and began to pull out all the leaves and twigs out of her hair. "So," Felicia continued slyly. "How was it?"

"The best I have ever had." Tessa sighed. "He's not like any werewolf I have been with. And when we made love....it was so powerful...and....ah, Felicia. Ihaco is wonderful." Felicia smiled and, after pulling everything out, grabbed a brush and began to brush Tessa's hair.

"You've got it bad, Tessa. But I'm happy for you. Firther and I both are." She smiled. Both of them couldn't find this much happiness anywhere else.

Firther, and Ihaco watched as the girls changed forms, and ran into the darkness. When they were gone Firther turned to Ihaco, and looked him dead in the eyes. "Well I'm not stupid. Please tell me you didn't treat Tessa as just another ********?" Firther said almost looking angry. Before Firther could say anything else, Ihaco leaned up against the tree his horse was teathered to. "Firther. I know what you mean now, and you're right. I've found the girl I want to settle down with. Firther she's amazing. And she can keep up with me!" he said his eyes getting wide.

Firther rolled his eyes. "Get on your horse. We're going swimming, and you can tell me about it on the way to the Great Lake." He said getting on his own horse, and riding off into the woods with a loud lovesick howl. Ihaco followed suite, and as he followed Firther right on his heels he bellowed his love for Tessa in a deep howl. "I could get used to doing that!" Ihaco yelled up to Firther who just at that particular dodged a very large tree. Ihaco barely made it because his mind was on Tessa.

Soon, they reached the Great Lake where the first war between the Elves and the Werewolves had first taken place. That had been nearly a millennium since then. Leading their horses out to graze in the field, they shed their clothing, and dove into the deep water from the rocks above. Firther surfaced first, and waited for Ihaco when suddenly he was thrown from the water. Ihaco came up laughing as Firther made a large splash in the water several feet from him. Firther also laughed as his head broke the surface.

"So tell me about it seeing as I'm still a virgin, and will remain so until I marry Felicia. Which will be soon by the way since I proposed to her tonight." He said with a large smile. "Niiice." Ihaco said. "Congratulations my brother." Ihaco paused. "Oh come on, Ihaco! You tell me every other time. What's so different this time?" Firther said slyly.

"Everything is different this time, Firther." Ihaco said with a triumphant smile. "Tessa gave me the best feeling during sex that I've ever gotten from any Elf. Hell, I've been with a few humans, and they don't even compare to Tessa. It's like she knew exactly how I wanted everything, and her voice just sends shivers down my spine. And her tail!" He paused there looking lovesick. "I had no idea that she even had a tail until I felt it. It scared me at first, but Firther I tell you it's so soft. I think I got a hair in my mouth at some point, but I didn't even care!" Firther remained silent, letting Ihaco do all the talking.

"Firther just the heat of her body against my cold, slightly purple skin felt perfect. I can't get her off my mind, and I know that I'll never have enough of her in my life. Firther I want to marry this woman. I know I want to, and I"m going to. I just don't know when. I think it's too soon to ask. And we uh...we didn't use protection. I know that I don't have any children by any other women, but Tessa just felt so different. If she gets pregnant, I won't hesitate to ask her for her hand in marriage. Enemies or not I love her." Ihaco said floating on his back under the half moon. "I love her." he said sighing happily.

Felicia finished with Tessa's hair and eventually the two migrated to Felicia's bed. There was no way either one of them were going to sleep alone tonight. There was just too much to talk to. But Felicia just kept thinking about seeing Firther in two days. They had only been apart a few hours and already she couldn't stand being apart from him. As they lied in bed, both of the stared up at the ceiling as they thought about their night. "Tessa," Felicia began. There was still one thing they hadn't discussed. Tessa turned her head slightly to look at her best friend. "There's something else that happened tonight." Tessa shot up straight, her mind really going to one thing.

"You didn't!" Her eyes were beaming since she thought her friend wasn't a virgin anymore. Felicia laughed and slapped Tessa playfully for ever thinking such a thing.

"No, not like you. Unlike some people, I'd rather wait till marriage. And I will for Firther." Felicia sighed.

"Well, I'm sorry Felicia but you haven't lived until you make love with an elf. Especially, if it's one you love." Felicia looked over at Tessa who help stars in her eyes. It was clear that Tessa would have done anything for Ihaco. "He's different, Felicia. And I don't just mean because we made loved but it is most of it. We never slowed down once. Usually, a werewolf man would just stop when he was finished but Ihaco and I could have gone on for hours. It's a known fact that with him, I'll never be bored." Felicia leaned up her arm so that she could fully ask Tessa a serious question.

"Tessa, what's it like? With an elf, I mean. I could care less about a werewolf." She added. Tessa sighed as she remembered every detail and every feeling she had experienced with him.

"Well, if it's with one that you love, it will be the best you'll ever have." Felicia moved her ring into the light of the moon from the window as if to sneak her ring in front of Tessa. Instantly, Tessa grabbed her hand. "He proposed?!"

"ShhhH!!" Felicia laughed as Tessa was getting too loud. Although, Felicia, herself, wanted to scream her engagement to the world. "Yes, he proposed and I have agreed. Tessa, who would have thought I would fall for an elf.That we would fall in love." The two girls lied back down and hardly even noticed that the sun was just peaking through the mountains.

"I'd marry Ihaco in a heartbeat if he asked me right now." Suddenly, Tessa sat up straight as she remembered another small important detail. "We didn't use protection!" She gasped but Felicia took note that she wasn't upset or even scared that she did.

"But you don't seem worried." Felicia added and Tessa shook her head with a smile.

"Not all." Tessa began as she lied back down. "Because if I am, the small creature growing inside of me will part of someone I love."

"I have just one thing to say," Firther said with a smile, "And that's I told you so." Ihaco tackled Firther , and took him down under the water with him. They wrestled around for a bit under the surface, and then finally Ihaco broke free, and gasped for air as his head broke through the water. FIrther followed just behind him, breathing normally with a smile. "I guess that means you yield." He said with a smile looking at Ihaco. "Yeah yeah yeah. We need to get back. It's getting to be dawn, and we haven't slept in a while."

Firther nodded, and both boys swam to shore, and shook themselves off. Their clothes clung to their wet bodies as they put them back on with out a care. Jumping on their horses, Firther, and Ihaco howled once more telling the world of their love, but knowing Felicia and Tessa couldn't hear them, or they thought at least. In fact, they didn't know if the girls could hear them or not, but they howled regardless. They rode off into the dawn's first light, back to their kingdom, so no one would notice they had been gone.

Finally, they made it back to the stables, and put the horses away. They used the secrete passages to make it back to their designated rooms silently. Once in bed both boys fell fast asleep knowing that they had finally found love, and that son they'd never have to part again.

~~~~~~~~~
Firther woke to a knock on his door. Still dressed in his clothes from the day before, Firther jumped out of bed, and sat at his desk pretending to be reading. Fixing his hair quickly, he said, "Enter." The door opened slowly, and there stood his father, the King. "Father. Welcome home. How was your trip?"
Firther's father wasted no time in telling him about the trip. "But that's nothing too interesting." His father said with a laugh. "What about your love interest? When will you be bringing her here so we can present her tot he court, and our people?" Firther looked a little uncomfortable, but he was saved having to explain himself when suddenly his little cousin ran into the room. "Firther! I want to play now!"
Firther's eyes greww wide, but he thought to himself, "It's now or never... Father. you remember her don't you? Bayath and Jillhanna's daughter. She's returned to us." Firther said with a smile. "I fully intend on taking care of her as my own." He said a little nervously.
The King stared at the little girl. "My it has been a long time. Is this your doing? Did you rescue her Firther? You must have. You're my son. Brave...Fearless! Tell me how you came about this idea, and how did you execute it so marvelously with out starting a war?" He said with his eyes lit up excitedly. "Did Ihaco help you? I know he's returned from his trip abroad, and I mean abroad." he said giving a hearty laugh.
"Well. That's just it father. Ihaco had nothing to do with it. It wasn't his idea, and to tell you the truth it wasn't my idea either." Firther said slowly. His father 's eyes became stern. "What do you mean?" he said. "Well father, it was an even exchange. Her for a wolf boy. I do not mean to upset you father, but it was the idea of Princess Felicia of the Kingdom of Wolves, and..."
The Kind stood up quickly. "Wolves!? Here in our kingdom! Firther how could you betray us like this!?" Firther spoke up quickly. "Never father. It was on neutral ground. I want to be a King, not a Jester! I'm wise for my age by watching you. I would never do something like bring a wolf on our lands." He said hoping his father would not pick up on his love for the beautiful princess.
The door bust open and the small boy from earlier jumped up and down on Felicia's bed. "Wake up! Sister! I want to play!" Tessa swatted at her brother but Samuel continued to be persistent. "Can we play with Tira?" Tessa shot up and covered his mouth.
"My dear little brother you must not say her name. At least not yet. We will see her soon. I promise." She kissed his head as she watched her little brother's face dimmer at the bad news. He nodded as she put her hand down. As she was about to force him of the room so they could get more sleep, the door burst open and revealed Felicia's mother.
"You two are still in bed?" The queen exclaimed and pulled back the curtains from the window bringing in more light. Both girls buried their heads away and groaned at the painful beams. Her mother tried to pull the covers back in hopes of coaxing them to get up. Felicia grabbed onto the covers and, in doing so, revealed the ring that had been placed on her finger. The queen gasped and grabbed her daughter's hand. "Is this from him?" She asked rather excitedly. Felicia nodded but seemed a little nervous. "The workings are beautiful. Unlike anything I have ever seen. Where did your fiance get it?"
"He made it." She said though she wished she hadn't. The thing was werewolves never made any silver of any kind. Especially jewelry. So it wasn't a surprise to Felicia when her mother didn't seem to understand at first.
"Well, for a werewolf to make something like this is pure talent from the Gods." Her mother smiled and sat on the bed next to her. The king appeared behind the queen and, he too, noticed the ring but heard the story as he had walked in the door.
"Speaking of which, when are we going to meet this man? He hasn't even asked me for my permission for your hand in marriage. Not to mention the counsel is getting antsy and you know how I get when the counsel is upset with me." The ground slowly began to shake and the queen grabbed his hand to calm him down. Felicia was feeling even worse about not telling her parents anything about who she really loved.
"Felicia, there's something else we want to know." The queen continued and looked at Samuel who was watching all of them. "How is it that Samuel came back to our kingdom? We are glad to see him. Heaven knows I am glad to see my dear friend happy again. Already this morning I have seen her tending to the gardens. One thing she hasn't done since the day Samuel was taken. But how did he come back?"
"Felicia traded me-" Tessa covered his mouth but the damage was just enough to bring suspicion to her parents.
"A trade?" Her father began. "Felicia what kind of trade did you make?" The ground, once again, beginning to rumble. Felicia sat up straight and put her hands out in front of her.
"Now, father, remember your blood pressure. And remember what happened the last time you were this angry? The whole castle shook and you nearly knocked it down. Some of the walls even cracked." Felicia tried to calm him down but his anger was just growing. "Father, please. Calm down." The queen smiled and looked up at her loving husband.
"Miquel." She said warningly. "Dear you haven't even heard her reasoning." And although her mother didn't seem pleased at all that Felicia had made a trade of some kind. "Now," She began as she turned back to her daughter. "What kind of trade did you make?" Felicia bit her lip as she looked at her parents. Tessa, who still had a hold on Samuel's mouth, watched to see what Felicia would say. Would she reveal it all to her parents? Now?
"It was more of an exchange." Felicia said cautiously. Her mother's face didn't change until she finally finished. "The Prince of the Elven Kingdom agreed to exchange the little elf girl that we had." The ground began to shake more and more as it sank in further and further.
"YOU WHAT?!"
~~~~~~~~~

Eventually the argument subsided though Felicia's father was still upset. The sun finally fell behind the mountain and it was replaced by the moon. The full moon gave Tessa the energy she wanted. Tonight was going to be exceptionally better than the night before. At the moment, Felicia was sentenced to her room for the time being and Tessa was ordered not to enter in her room. Then again, this did give her the advantage to sneak out without telling her friend where, or who, she was going to.

As Tessa finally reached outside, her excitement was growing even as her energy was with the moon's light. She felt like she could do anything, though she only really wanted to do one thing. A small white wolf appeared in front of her. Her loyal running companion was not at her side. "See-ta, come running with me. For tonight I feel like I can run for hours." The wolf nodded and Tessa gave into her true form. The two wolves ran faster and faster. Tessa could feel her heart pumping and she felt like she run to the top of the highest mountain and running back down. But Tessa wanted to reach Ihaco with all her might.

Tessa reached the clearing and changed back in form. Ihaco still hadn't appeared yet. The white wolf sat down and continued to watch for any visitors. "It's alright See-ta. I'll be fine on my own." See-ta hesitated at first but licked her hand before running off. Tessa knew she wouldn't be very far away if she needed her. When she was finally all alone, it wasn't too long before a sound was made behind her. Ihaco came into the clearing and Tessa couldn't help herself but run and jump on him. Ihaco caught her and held her as she wrapped her legs around his waist. Tessa kissed him hungrily before pulling apart blushing.

"I'm sorry, my darling. The moon's light has given me so much energy tonight." The moon's light was increasing her adrenaline as she continued to look through his eyes. Even her panting was growing heavier as she knew this was going to be fun. Her smile grew into a slyish grin. "Now here is the test, my love. You might have been able to keep up with me last night but let's see if you can now."

Firther's door opened once more, and his mother, the Queen, entered. "Zakor, remember your arthritis, and how it flares up when your upset." She said in a soothing voice, but outside the clouds were raging. Many lighting bolts reached the ground, and split several trees. "Father please don't be upset with me. I only wanted us all to be happy again with Tira home. Remember how happy you were to see her after all those year!" Firther said in a last ditch effort to calm his father.

The queen looked at Firther in a fluid motion. "Tira...Tira has returned to us?" She said with tears in her eyes. The little girl who sat beside Firther looked up at the mentioning of her name. "Yes, mother. She is safe at home. Princess Felicia, of the Kingdom of Wolves, and I exchanged the small children in hopes that maybe one day all of them could be exchanged." He paused here eying his father carefully. "We wish to bring peace between the kingdoms."

The Queen softened her gaze on her son, and went to hug Tira. "While I find your cause noble son, I just don't think it will work. I'm sorry my darling boy." She said taking Tira by the hand, and leading her out the door. Firther looked at his mother with despair in his eyes. Never in all his years had his own mother told him that he wouldn't succeed. Firther became hurt inside, and the room became cold.

"Now son, don't worry. Your mother is right. Beasts like the werewolves have no feelings. They enjoy bathing in carnage that they leave in their wake. I would have you thrown in the dungeon to learn your lesson, but I will not have you killed by the beasts you are trying to help."

Firther fought to hold his tongue. He wanted to lash out at his father for saying the things he said because he knew that Felicia was different, and Tessa too. Ice began to frost over the windows, and snow began to fall in his room alone never hitting the floor. Giving himself a moment to think about his next words carefully, he finally spoke. "You're right father. I don't know why I ever thought that they could be one in peace with us. I'm sorry father. Forgive me." He said kneeling in front of his father as the snow continued to fall on their shoulders.

King Zakor touched his son's head gently. "All is forgiven my son. I'm just glad that you brought Tira home. We throw a feast tonight in your honor, and will not speak of this exchange. You and Ihaco will be hero's tonight." The king slid out of Firther's room with out another word. "Yes, we will be hero's father. Felicia, and Tessa too." He said through gritted teeth.

Saying the backstabbing things he'd said about Felicia's people had tore him inside. Firther paced in his room, and beat on his walls. He needed to escape. He wanted to hold Felicia in his arms, and lay her in his bed just to feel her breathe beside him. Soon, the snow stopped falling, and the windows were void of frost. "I need to go riding through the country. Maybe that will help clear my mind."

Not bothering to wake Ihaco, Firther slipped out of their ward of rooms, and took the back way to the stables. As he walked he placed his crown on his head, and buckled his sword to his belt as it rested in its sheath. He walked up tot he same horse that he'd ridden the past few days, and petted it gently. "Come on girl. Let's go on a ride." He said as the horse neighed happily.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Firther returned hours later, in time to have his clothes pressed for that evening's feast, and had time to spare to send Felicia a letter. He sat down in his room, dipped his quill into his pitch black ink, and wrote to her the most beautiful love poem.
"To feel you envelope me into your arms
Arms that look to be feminine and yet strong
I want to be where you are
I want to know that this high can get better
We can go anywhere
So long as I'm with you
The stars the moon and the sun
Could not make me feel
The way you do
It's like eternity
When I sit here waiting
Waiting for the day I not only hear your voice
But wake to find you next to me
When you put a smile on my face"
Felicia, my beautiful bride to be. I only wish to say that I love you, and that I have spoken to my father of the exchange. He was furious, and my mother is no help other than being happy Tira is home safely. They are throwing a feast in my honor tonight, as well as Ihaco. They are going to lie about how Tira come home. I'm furious. I wish now more than ever that I had you at my side as my queen. I love you Felicia. Forever and Always.
Yours,
Firther
Not bothering to re-read it, he called to his bird, and sent the letter off hoping that it would reach Felicia in time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Firther couldn't wait any longer for Felicia to possibly return his letter with one of her own. He put his newly pressed clothes on, and made his way down to the banquet hall. Ihaco was already there, looking nervous. "Firther what's going on? What did you tell them?" He hissed through his teeth in a whisper.

Firther looked at him sadly. "I told them only about the exchange, and how Felicia and I want only to bring peace between the kingdoms. Ihaco my father called them beasts, and I was hardly able to control the cold in my room. I told him that he was right just so he would calm down. I take it you heard the trees breaking, and falling outside." Firther said quietly.

"Hell yes I heard them Firther. Why didn't you mention me, and Tessa. You know we're in it till peace or war or death. Which ever comes first." He said as the King made his way up to the two boys. "Firther, Ihaco! I'm glad you've finally made it down. I want you both to enjoy tonight. After the speech you are free to do whatever you please, but make sure you at least speak to the Earl of Havensdale. He brought his daughters to see you Ihaco.

Ihaco looked at him nervously. "I'm sorry to inform you sir, but I believe that I've found the girl I wish to settle down with. Like Firther, I'm not ready to say anything just yet. I want to make sure that it's going to work out before I ask for your permission to marry a woman who does not live in this kingdom." He said bowing at the waist slowly.

Zakor's eyes widened. "Ihaco! You too have found love at last. This is wonderful news!. Ihaco, you have always been like a son to me since your father died, and your mother left the kingdom. I am truly happy for you." The King said with a smile as he departed from both boys to start the feast.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
The feast went well, and after the speech, Ihaco slipped silently away from everyone including Firther. He was off to meet the love of his life, Tessa. Taking the many secrete passage ways to the stables, he finally petted his favorite black horse before soothing her, and climbing on her back with out the use of a saddle.
"Take me to her." He whispered in the mare's ear. The guards were not on duty on the outer walls, and so Ihaco didn't have to worry about being heard. He brought the horse to a gallop, and together they seemed to fly above the solid ground.
Finally he made it to the edge of the forest, and rode straight into it not slowing down or stopping. He stopped in a thicker area of the forest not far from the willow tree, and walked the rest of the way. He came up from behind her, but made soft, subtle noises as not to scare her.
He wrapped his arms around Tessa as she threw herself into his arms, and wrapped her legs around him. Holding her there against his body like that their lips finally met, and everything felt like Heaven. It was like the world had stopped its spinning, and nothing else mattered but them and their love.
Tessa spoke first speaking of the moon, and its energy. "Tessa my love. Do not worry, for tonight even I feel the moon's energy." He said soothing her as he kissed her face, neck, ears, lips, and chin. "I don't think I'm going to have any problems keeping up with you. Tonight is about our love and passion. You're going to have to keep up with me." He said as he leaned her once more against the great Willow tree.
Felicia was sentenced to her room for the remainder of the week. How was she going to explain this to Firther? No. Nothing would be able to stop her from seeing the man that she loved. She wanted so badly to be with him. To finally live in the kingdom that was meant for them. A small tap on the window signaled as a familiar bird sat with a note from Firther. She quickly grabbed the note as Hayden watched. Felicia read the note over and over again. Every word was still proof that he loved her but she ached for him even more. Quickly, she grabbed a quil, pen and paper as she wrote replied to his letter.
I'd die for you, my darling love
Because you're my angel sent from above
I see you in my dreams every night
And with me together, our wings take flight
Your arms are wrapped around my waist
We see our kingdom and know that this is the place
We'll raise our children, here and there
Our kingdom will grow without a care
I see the future, so clear and bright
The things that we do will come out just right
No matter the cost, we'll be together
I'll love you always, now and forever.
My darling love,
I, too, miss you with all my heart. The day will soon come when we will not have to part. Though, I still fear it is far away. I also told my parents about the exchange and it didn't go too well either. I am forced to stay in my room for the remainder of the week. But do not fear, my darling. Nothing will keep me from you. I will escape whatever means necessary and I will come to you. I promise. If, by some means, I cannot come to you I will send word; whether by Hayden or by Tessa. I love you, Firther. Our meeting cannot come soon enough, though we are forced to wait. Be patient my darling, as I will.
Forever yours,
Felicia
Felicia handed her letter to the bird and watched it fly off to Firther's kingdom, though she wished she was going with him.
~~~~~~~~~~
Tessa was forcefully thrown, though she wasn't hurt, against the tree once again as their love grew more intense. The moon was giving them power that not either one of them had ever experienced before. Tessa longed for ever bit of Ihaco more and more. It wasn't too long before it felt like they had truly become one.

A little while later, the two of them were panting as if they had run for miles. Ihaco held her in his arms as she rested her head on his chest. "I do...believe...dear love....that the full moon....might be our new....favorite time of night." She panted and looked up at him. His eyes just beaming down at him. "No one will ever compare to you." It had seemed that, even with the moon's energetic light, they were still able to keep up with each other. And as Tessa looked at him, she knew that it wasn't just about the love making that truly kept her coming back to him. But, in fact, she knew that she loved him for him. For the man that was and how he treated her. It had been a long time since she had ever trusted a man and she could trust Ihaco with her life.

~~~~~~~~
Soon the time came for them to part once again. The two had spent all night together and the sun was just now rising. If Tessa's mother awoke without her being in the kingdom, there would be trouble. Though, she didn't want to part with him. Tessa rested her head against his as they were about to part. "I'm sorry, my love but I must go." She kissed him for the millionth time and slowly turned away as she headed for home.
Once there, Tessa sat in her room by the windowsill. She couldn't sleep. If only they could have had more time together. As she sat under the moonlight, she could feel the energy building again but she would have to ignore it. Her mother wouldn't approve if she was out even later. It was too risky even though it was tempting by help from the moon. Tessa leaned her head against the wall. She tried to go to sleep but couldn't.
Suddenly, a light tapping came from the window. Tessa looked around and gasped at who she saw. It was Ihaco! At her window!! From what she could tell, he had climbed the tree in front of her window. Gently, she opened the window as she smiled at the love of her life. Softly, she whispered to him "what are you doing here?
PostPosted: Sun Oct 04, 2009 11:44 pm
Ihaco felt the quivering of Tessa's body, and knew then that they had become one body, mind, and soul. It was unlike any woman he'd ever been with, and he didn't want to let her go. Tessa had such a beautiful glow about her body as they made love there in the pale moon light.
Everything fit together so well. Every curve of her body fit into his like they were together by destiny. He let his hands glide over her smooth skin, only to take hold of her tail gently. He loved how soft her fur was, and loved feeling it against his skin.
Soon, he began to sing to her, a song that he knew as a child. "I see the moon, and the moon sees me. The moon sees the someone that I want to see." He began to pant softly as the singing on top of everything else made him short of breath.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ihaco looked down into Tessa's eyes. "I hate to see you go my love." HE said kissing her gently. He let her walk off, and as he turned to leave the tree as well, a beautiful flower caught his eyes. It lay nearly twenty yards away, but he knew that Tessa must have it.

Running to it, he picked it getnly, and took off to follow her, leaving his horse behind. He'd never set foot on the werewolf territory before, and was not afraid to do so for the power of love was strong in him. He knew that she must be far from him at that point, but he kept quiet anyways.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soon, he saw the lights from the castle ahead of him, and he began to run silently the rest of the way to the castle. As soon as he reached the outter limit he saw her. Tessa stood in her window. He needed to get her attention quick. Looking down he found a small stone, and threw it at her window. Soon she opened it, and saw him. "My love I have come to you. I will see you soon!" he said as he climbed down the tree, and into her window.
Tessa watched as Ihaco climbed up the tree and through the window. She didn't care that he wasn't supposed to be in her room and/or kingdom. She didn't care that they were both breaking rules. What mattered was the thought that he risked his life just to see her. One more time before the night was through. Ihaco climbed through the window and they embraced. "Are you crazy?!" She chuckled in a whisper. "You could have gotten caught!" Ihaco lifted up a white flower so as to give it to her. "Oh, Ihaco. It's beautiful."
But something was different this night as she looked at him. With help from the moonlight's energy, she couldn't help but feel even more excited. Tessa went to kiss him but as she did, the kiss grew more intense. She could feel both of their energies increasing in the moment. For brief moment, Tessa pulled away. "If we're going to do this we must be quiet. Besides, I think this will be more fun and risky."
The sun peaked through the clouds of Tessa's window as she awoke. The night they had spent together was wonderful but she ached all over. The flower from Ihaco rested on the bedside table.But once again, it was time to part. As quietly as he could, Ihaco got dressed to prepare for his departure. The moonlight had worn both of them out, it was true, but they just wanted to lie in bed holding each other.
Suddenly as Ihaco was about to climb out the window, the door burst open and revealed her little brother. Tessa sighed in relief when it was just him. Samuel ran up to Ihaco and hugged his leg. "I knew that was you!" He said happily. "I could smell you all the way from my bedroom." This shocked Tessa. He could smell Ihaco? Well, if he could do that then....
"You must hurry." Tessa whispered so her mother couldn't hear her. "If my mother wakes up and sees you, that will be the end of it. She will do whatever means necessary to make sure that I don't see you. Even if that means I have to be watched 24/7." Once again, she tried to push him out the window but he won't budge. "Ihaco, please! I want to see you again and I don't want my mother to find you here."
After the short climb up the tree, Ihaco finally managed to get through her window with out being caught. He pulled her into his arms, and embraced her lovingly.Taking the white flower from his sleeve, Ihaco presented it to her with a smile on his face. "Tessa...You know that I would die if just to see you for one brief moment. For in that brief moment I see the Heaven that the Elder priests speak of in heir magic prayers."
He felt her lips on his, and Ihaco began to feel the heat of passion rising between them. He didn't care that he could be killed for being in her room, and more importantly in her kingdom. All he cared about was the fact she was in his arms where she belonged.
Their lips parted, and then he smirked. "Risky is what I had in mind." He said, as he began to lay her down on her bed. In the end, his body glistened with beads of sweat. He noticed the sunlight peaking over the trees. "Tessa, darling, we must part. It's near daylight, and I do not wish to bring you burdens."
Putting his clothes back on quickly, he made for the window with determination, when suddenly the door burst open, and Samuel ran through the arch way. "All the way from there, That's a good job, how about you get back to your room now. I was just leaving, but don't tell anyone you saw me. Okay" Ihaco said to the little wolf boy.
Samuel nodded his head, and ran back out the room shutting the door gently. Ihaco waited a moment to make sure they were safe as Tessa spoke about her mother, and how it made her worry. She began to rush him out of her window, but he would not move. "Not until I get one more taste of your beautiful lips." He said taking her head in his hand, and kissing her passionately.
With that, he slid down the tree, and took to sneaking towards the forest. Little did he know that he had been seen by one of the prison gaurds who was just about to go on duty for the day. Going down into the prison, he alerted the overseer about the intrusion saying that he saw and elf trying to kidnap his ex girlfriend.
Ihaco made it to the edge of the forest, but he suddenly found himself surrounded by wolves. "s**t." he muttered to himself. Drawing his sword, Ihaco stood in his fighting stance. One wolf changed form into a young looking man with strong arms, and large muscles.
His name was Nethaniel, and not olnly the prison guar, but Tessa's ex lover. "So, you were trying to kidnap someone from our kigdom now were you?" He said grabbing Ihaco's arms and twisting it until the sword fell from his hand. Ihaco gasped outi n pain. When suddenly he felt a blow to the back of his head.
As he fell to the ground, he looked up through blurred eyes, at several werewolves around him. Ihaco's head hit the ground hard, and as soon as it did someone one kicked him in the stomach as another person kicked him in the back, as well as a foot to his face. Ihaco began to slid in and out of consciousness, and soon he closed his eyes on the light he knew was Tessa's room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ihaco opened his eyes. He was in a cell, all alone. He began to wake more, and he felt pain in his wrists. Looking up, Ihaco saw that he hung from chains that pinched the skin, and hairs around it. As he looked down, however, he saw that there was nothing supporting him as he hung there, and that he was six feet off the ground.

"What happened?" He said groggily. He began to look around, and he saw more and more of his iwn people sitting in huddles, and in cells like his very own. Nethainiel walked over to his cell, and chuckled. "You know very well what you did, Elf. Trying to kidnap the princesses best friend." Your sentence is till your death, which won't be too far from now." He said almost whispering into the cage. "Enjoy your stay here, Elf. You're going to die here, and you can't to anything about it. He said as he walked off leaving Ihaco alone with no one near enough his cell to talk to.

Tessa laughed at his request and was forced to do so. Then again, she wasn't really against kissing him one last time. After she had watched him leave, Tessa picked the flower back up and inhaled the scent. It was the most wonderful smell in the world. It meant even more since it was from Ihaco. Tessa danced and danced around the room with her flower. She was floating on air just thinking about her night with him. Suddenly, someone cleared their throat to get Tessa's attention. "Mother!" She gasped with a smile. Her mother stood in the doorway very intrigued to see her daughter dancing about.

"And why are we so happy this morning?" Her mother asked. Tessa placed the flower on her mantle and sighed.

"Because I have finally found the one that I love." Tessa's mother sighed out of happiness. She knew her daughter had he share of not so great boys. Hopefully, this one would be different.

"When can I meet him?" She asked. Tessa was about to answer but something caught her attention outside of her window. Nathanial, her ex, was dragging someone as they headed to the back of the dungeons. Without a doubt, she knew it was Ihaco. She could recognize that body anywhere. Nathanial looked up and smirked at her. Even winked because he thought this would impress her but it did just the opposite. Tessa wanted to run down there and see Ihaco but she could have to wait till later.

After dinner, Tessa found Felicia. She couldn't hold the tears back any longer. Felicia looked worried and wiped the tears as she waited for her friend to explain. "Felicia, they have him. They have Ihaco." Felicia was about to ask how but Tessa answered right away. "I met with Ihaco last night and he followed me home. He didn't want to part so soon so we..."

"I got it. Then what?" Felicia urged on.

"This morning, Ihaco tried to leave but, somehow Nathaniel and his men found him. Felicia, he didn't look alright. He wasn't moving. What if he's-" Tessa couldn't even say it as the possibility of it actually being true nearly killed her. Felicia hugged her friend and stroked her hair as she tried to calm her down.

"It's alright. I'm sure he's just in the dungeons. Come. Let us go see him." The girls headed down to the dungeons but the guards stopped them. "We want to see the prisoner you caught earlier."

"I'm afraid I can't allow you to do that, malady." One guard began. "He is a dangerous criminal and, is in fact, sentenced to death in a matter of days." Tessa gasped and Felicia held her hand tightly.

"My friend can't stand it when people are put to death. No matter who they are." Felicia explained. "Bad memories." She whispered to the guards and then straightened up. "Anyway, we would like to see him and ask a few questions. You cannot deny me that." The guards looked at each other and allowed them in but, as they were walking past them, Felicia sprinkled poison flower dust over there heads. Only enough to make them sleep for awhile. They walked past a few of the cells, looking for Ihaco. They all glared at her. One in particular recognized the princess.

"What happened to Tira?" He asked.

"I did as I said. Tira is back with her family and Tessa's brother, the werewolf boy we traded, is back home. I'm afraid that's all I can tell you to believe me." Felicia told him. The elf nodded and looked around, wondering what was going to happen to them. "Don't worry. I made a promise that I was going to get you all out of here and I shall. But first we must see one elf. They brought an elf in here earlier."

"You mean Ihaco?" Another one asked. Tessa looked straight at the elf as she had been looking around for her. "He came in beat up and put him over there." The elf pointed and Tessa ran to the cage. Ihaco didn't look to well.

"Ihaco." She gasped as tears went down her face. Felicia came up from behind her and unlocked the cage door. Tessa ran to him and Felicia went to go get somethings for his wounds. "What have they done to you? This is all my fault." Felicia soon returned with a bowl of medicine and cloth. Carefully, she began to clean him up. Tessa helped as well. "Felicia we have to get him out of here."

Ihaco looked at Tessa through blurry eyes. "Tessa is that you? Please say that's you." he said as a droplet of blood trickled down his lower lip. Through his clouded vision, he saw another figure. "Felicia, is that you princess?" He said bowing his head as would any other gentleman who wasn't chained in midair by only his wrists.

He listened through ears who's senses had been heightened in just a short amount of time. "I thought I'd made it. I'd gotten to the edge of the forest, but they..." He said with a cough that caught blood in his throat. "...They caught me off guard, and surrounded me. Aaargh!" he said as the solution on the cloth burned his skin. "They beat me up pretty good my love, but so long as I know you're here, and that I got to see you one last time, I'm happy, and the pain isn't as great."

Ihaco shook his head in agony, but also to try and bring back his vision a little. It helped some, and he could at least see his lover's face. "Tessa, you're so beautiful." He said as a bloody tear slid down his cheek at the thought of not being able to reach out, and pull her into his arms.

An elf, who's hatred for the werewolves was visible on his face spoke up. "Ihaco. You don't mean to tell me that you are in love with this beast!? This is absurd. How could you commit such an act of treason on your own kind!?" he said spitting at the ground.

Ihaco moved his head in the direction of the voice. "Don't you ever call her a beast again, for I will have them let me loose from my bonds, and I will lash your back until the blood no longer runs. I love her, and there is nothing that will stop me from marrying her. If I get out of here that is. Even if it has to be a secrete wedding, right here in this very prison, I will love her until the day I die." He said not even knowing about his death sentence.

The Elder elf sat there with fear in his eyes. He knew that Ihaco was a dark elf, and that they had a reputation for following through with sometimes murderous acts. Ihaco would never have done that, but the furry that had built up inside of him when the old man had called Tessa a beast caused his anger to shoot through his heart, and into his veins.

Ihaco hung his head in sorrow. "Felicia, as grateful as I am for you bringing Tessa here, you two should not have risked coming here. My life is not so important that I must be..." his words trailed off there as he heaved heavily, and coughed deeply, his breath rattling in his very rib cage.

Much time had gone by, and he heard what sounded like moaning coming from where the guards had stood. Ihaco hadn't even bothered to ask the girls how they had got past the guards, but he suddenly became worried. He opened his eyes in a flash. "You two need to go. I"m not playing around. I hear someone, something, stirring at the foot of the stairs."

He opened his eyes in order to look at Tessa. "My love, you must go. Don't risk your life, and Felicia's life just to save me, to heal me. Tessa as long as I have a thought of you in my mind, I know I"ll be alright. Now go!" He said as his whole body shook involuntarily. The chains cut deeper into his wrists as he let out a howl that would of made any werewolf proud, even though it was in pain. "GET OUT OF HERE. DON'T COME BACK UNLESS YOU HAVE TO!" Ihaco said with tears in his eyes, as he tried to break free from his bonds.

He hated to see the love of his life go, but he knew that it was for the best. "I"ll see you again. I promise!" he said as the girls left him to be alone.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a fitful sleep, and several nightmares of Tessa dying in his arms, Ihaco woke up to a sharp pain in his ribs. It was Nethaniel. "Glad to see the pitiful excuse of a man awake." He said jabbing Ihaco hard in the side once more. Ihaco yelled out in agony, but knew he needed to show no pain. "What the hell do you want?" Ihaco said slowly.
Nethaniel stopped in front of him. "Do you love her, Elf?" He said with a smirk. When Ihaco didn't reply he yelled out as he struck him again, this time across the face. "DO YOU LOVE HER, ELF!? YOU WILL ANSWER WHEN SPOKEN TO!" Ihaco looked up with a softness in his eyes, but behind it was a hate that he'd never felt before. "Yes I love her! And what does it matter to you? Are you jealous that someone like her would never really love someone like you? A brute!?" Ihaco said in more of a whisper, but it was menacing.
Nethaniel twitched for a moment, before beating Ihaco over, and over again. When he was finished, Ihaco spat blood on Nethaniel's feet. "Why do you constantly find pleasure in beating me. What is your connection to Tessa anyway. Did you love her? Or did you just treat her like s**t.: He said with a smirk. Nethaniel merely stared acting like his temper was under check. "Or was she simply the girl you had your eye on, but lost to an Elf. An Elf who is twice the man you'll ever be!" Ihaco said laughing as he felt the painful blows to the stomach that Nethaniel dealt.
Once that beating was over, Ihaco opened the only eye that hadn't closed over. "That's what I thought. Why don't you leave me alone before you humiliate yourself?" With one last blow to the face, Nethaniel walked out of the cage, and locked it. "I look forward to your death. I"ll be beating you everyday until it happens." he said with a smile that would have scared a child.
Once Nethaniel was out of the prison, Ihaco let loose, and cried for Tessa. He knew that he needed her now, and that with his confession they could all be in trouble. Little did he know that Nethaniel didn't have plans to tell another soul, as Ihaco had hit his pride hard with his words.
As the girls continued to clean his wounds, Tessa was hurting. Even as he spoke to her it was hard for her hold back the tears. Ihaco began yelling threats at the other elf across the room. She didn't care that the elf didn't agree with them. Tessa's heart soared as he said he would marry her in the prison, though it wasn't how she imagined her wedding with him. But the threats didn't suit with Tessa. "No, Ihaco! No. No more blood is to be spilled." Ihaco tried to protest about what the elf said. "No! I don't care what he said about me. I care about you and screaming at him won't help with your wounds."
It wasn't long before Tessa, too, knew the need the leave though she didn't want to. Felicia tried to grab her and take her but Tessa fought it. "No! I don't want to leave him!"
"We have to leave or else we'll never be able to see him!" Felicia argued and Tessa knew she was right. Tessa quickly cleaned more blood off of his lip before kissing him gently.
"I'll be back, my love. I promise. And we will get you out of here." The two girls hurried out and headed back to Felicia's room. Tessa almost made it to the bed before crying. It pained her to see him beat up. "Felicia we have to get him out of there? What are you doing?" She asked as she watched Felicia write furiously on a piece of parchment.
"Writing to Firther." She said without looking up. "Ihaco is NOT going to stay down there. We're getting him out and Firther is going to help." Tessa wrapped her arms around Felicia's neck. Felicia smiled and held onto Tessa's arm. "I know. You would do the same the same for me in a heart beat." Minutes later Felicia was sending the letter with Hayden. "Fly swiftly, my friend." She whispered to him before sending him out the window.
~~~~~~

Days later, the girls went back down in the dungeon after dark. The guards, now, were in a deep sleep and they would be for awhile thanks to Felicia and her poison plants. Tessa ran to the cell and unlocked it quickly. Ihaco was just about to say something but Tessa covered his mouth out of his excitement. "We're getting you out of here and don't say that we can't because we are. Firther is meeting us." Felicia began unlocking the chains and the two girls carefully held him up though it was harder than it looked.

Passing the guards in the dungeon was easy but it was much harder outside. Especially after Tessa began to cough and get weaker. "Are you alright?" Felicia finally asked. Tessa nodded but Felicia didn't believe it. Even when Tessa was beginning to fade. "Tessa!" Felicia screamed and gently sent Ihaco on the ground. The three of them weren't even to the meeting place yet. She whistled toward the sky and Hayden was on her arm in a matter of seconds. "Find Firther and bring him here but be careful as you enter into the kingdom. And hurry."

Hayden flew off and Felicia turned back to her friend. "What is wrong?" Felicia asked but Tessa couldn't answer. Ihaco tried to move but Felicia held him down. "No! Don't move. Wait until Firther gets here. Moving will only make the pain worse."

Firther was sitting in his room when he heard a tap on his window. It was Felicia's bird, Hayden. He hadn't heard from her in days, as he had figured would happen. Reading her note he became immediately concerned. "Thank you Hayden. Return this." He said as he wrote down 'Two days time' on a slip of parchment.

A couple of days later, Hayden returned rushing around him quickly. Firther knew it was time to go. "Let's go. I"ll meet you there, by that tree." He said to the bird as he pointed to the tree at the edge of the outer wall.

Running through the secrete passage ways through the castle, he made it outside, and ran to the tree. He would not use a horse tonight. "Let's go. Guide me the way." He said as he continued running through the woods towards the meeting place. "Why the hell did he go there if he knew it would run the risk of everything!" Firther said aloud to himself.

He stopped talking, and kept running, and he seemed like a blur almost in the darkened sky. Soon he came to the meeting place, but they were not there. He noticed that Hayden continued to fly beyond him. "They must not have made it this far. I'm coming." He said taking off into a sprint once more. He saw the bird stop about two miles a head of him, and he ran faster. Ten minutes later he found them. Ihaco lay bloody, and beaten on the cold earth, and Tessa didn't look like she was well either.

He stopped beside them, and bent down to the ground he put his hands on Ihaco. "What has happened to you my friend.?" he said sadly. He then looked at Tessa. What's wrong with Tessa. Felicia" He said standing up to embrace her. Ihaco began to cry, and whisper to himself. Suddenly he screamed for Tessa. "Tessa! Firther is she okay?" he whimpered. He began to move towards Tessa slowly, but Felicia held him there. "No! Please let me hold her!" Firther put a hand of Felicia's cheek. "I'll take care of it." He said as he picked Ihaco gently up into his arms, and laid him closer to Tessa.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ihaco waited for days for death to come, but it never did. Nethaniel came in each day as he had promised, and dealt fierce blows to Ihaco's pain wrecked body. He wasn't even sure if he even had any blood left in his body. Eventually he didn't even care that he was being beaten. He was happy knowing that Tessa was safe.
He spoke to some of the elves he'd once known as a child, the ones who had disappeared on nights of war. Then one night, he felt a cold wind drift through the prison. He could feel death breathing down his neck. Ihaco was giving up, but suddenly he heard the opening of his prison cell, and he began to speak, "Tessa..." but he was hushed by soothing words.
He tried to protest, but somehow a smile came to his face. He couldn't see her, but he knew that it was his angel, Tessa. He fell to the ground when the chains around his wrists came loose. He fell into a heap, but Felicia, and Tessa, helped him to stand, but he couldn't feel his legs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

They escaped the prison, and were on their way to the meeting place. Ihaco could not see, and so he relied on the girls to help him find his way. He heard Tessa's breathing begin to shallow, and she began to cough. "Tessa. Just...take your time. I told you not to worry about me." He said beginning to worry about the love of his life. It wasn't until he heard Felicia yell Tessa's name that he knew Tessa had gone down.

Felicia laid him gently on the ground, and he began to cry for Tessa. "Let her be okay." He whispered to himself. Ihaco went into a sort of panic, and then he felt hands on his arm and head. "What has happened to you my friend?" It was Firther. "Tessa! Firther is she okay?" He whimpered to his friend. "Please just let me hold her!" HE said when Felicia held him down from moving. She was gentle, but her needed Tessa. Soon, the pressure of Felicia's hand's was removed, and he felt Firther gently lift him into his arms, and soon he could feel the fur of Tessa's tail on his hand. "My Angel." he said whispering. "Are you alright lover? Please be okay."

Tessa tried to speak but she couldn't. Every time she tried she would go into a coughing fit. Felicia didn't understand it. She was fine moments ago and showed no signs of this illness. She felt her head and knew something was really wrong. "Her temperature is rising." Felicia said aloud. Tessa looked up at Felicia with tears in her eyes. "Don't worry." Felicia whispered. "I'll take care of you." Tessa nodded but her crying increased. She turned to Ihaco and buried her head in his chest. Just the touch of his skin made her feel better.

"Firther, we have to get them to your kingdom. I don't know how long Tessa can last without treatment." Felicia said towards Firther. "Our kingdom is too far and yours is the closest one. There's no time to waste." That's when she realized something she should have thought of before. How could she forget? Felicia pressed two fingers to her lips and whistled. In a matter of minutes, two white horses, twins, appeared in front of them. "These are the fastest horses I know. They'll get us to your kingdom in time but we must still hurry. I can make something that will help Tessa but I need the proper tools."

The two placed both of them on one of the horse before they climbed on themselves. Felicia, in an ancient language, asked them to hurry to the Elven kingdom. The horses took off and took them to their destination. In a matter of minutes, the two had arrived and quickly took Tessa and Ihaco through a secret passage towards Ihaco's room. As Felicia placed Tessa on the bed as Firther was doing with Ihaco, she knew she needed to go back outside. "Firther, I need two bowls, a grinder, and more bandages for Ihaco. Can you please get those for me? I must go back outside and gather the ingredients."

Before he could say a word, Felicia kissed his cheek and ran outside through the passage way. Thankfully, for her the ingredients weren't hard to find. Soon she had enough items to make something to help Tessa and something to help heal Ihaco's wounds. Felicia, as fast as she could and as careful as she could, raced back to the caste through the passage way. A few times she thought she was going to get caught, but thankfully she never was.

Felicia entered back into the room and began making everything she needed. First thing was first. Tessa needed something and she needed it now. Something was telling Felicia that whatever Tessa had, it was going to kill her. Full of worry, Felicia made the antidote she thought that would work and carefully fed it to Tessa. Now she was able to help Ihaco with his wounds.

An hour later, Felicia sat, exhausted, on the couch in Ihaco's room. It was all she could do. Now the only thing that was left was to wait until they were both better. Then, if they still hadn't been found out, Tessa and Felicia would go home.

But Felicia and Firther waited. And waited. Tessa still hadn't improved. Felicia was getting antsy. Suddenly, Ihaco began coughing badly as Tessa had. Felicia quickly made the antidote and gave it to him but, still as they continued to wait longer, nothing was helping. Slowly, however, Ihaco's wounds were healing but Felicia was more worried about their illness.

Felicia looked out the window and noted that the sun was going down. She didn't even care that she should be home. All she cared about was the life of her best friend and the man that she loved. Felicia went through her mind, trying to remember if there was anything else she could do. But there was nothing. There wasn't anything either one of them could do. All there was to do was wait.
