I remember the fall I had mono (not from kissing) and I spent the whole time being driven up and down the 5 and 405 seeing Anaheim and the beach daily and listening to the music that defined my youth. Sticking my head in from the window just long enough for my mom not to catch me from her commute back from work to home.

I love knowing the ending to stories. It comes with age.
