Kitty starred over the horizon, wondering when her other Chara was going to hatch. She held the blue and green egg in her palm.
"Still thinking about sissy, aren't you?" Her Chara said. Kitty jumped and scolded the little thing.
"Don't sneak up on me again...what's your name again?"
"Please don't forget my name! I'm Mana!"

Silver jumped from the wall that blocked her school from the outside. Nio one would miss her today, nor any day. As she was about to land, a boy walked onto her landing space. She didn't an ista-chara change and got up quickly, bowing.

She pleaded, but as soon as she saw who it was, she turned back to normal, and scowled.

She hissed.

Jaki and May peaked over Beka's shoulder as she read To Kill A Mockingbird. "I like this book, but its so boring at the beginning. Skip to the trial!" Jaki complained. Beka shook her head, "You have to read the whole story." Jaki sighed and continued reading.

May floated over to Jaki and jumped on her, "He he he! Play with me!" She begged. Jaki smiled and rolled jumped at May. "Yay!" May yelled and dodged. Jaki hit Beka in the neck. "Will you two behave?" Beka said shutting her book and stood up.

"Oh, come on, Beka. We're bored. We want to go chase some x-eggs..." May said, doing somersaults in the air. Beka shook her head. "If you scene a x-egg I will be more than happy to chance after it."

"Right...Mana, sorry." Kitty said."So.....What does a Shugo Chara do, anyway?"
"Shugo Charas can change your personality when we feel it's best. "Replied Mana
"Wait! you were just born! How do You know that?"
