Gothic Muffin of Doom

I hope no one takes me lightly because all of you read fascinating books.
I'm reading "the return of the king" (yes the one from the Lord of the ring series).

Why would we take you lightly for reading a literary classic?
For the record The Lord of the Rings is not a series. It's one novel broken down into 6 books, portioned into three volumes. Just a tip. ;3

Have you guys seen the movie yet? I was so glad I read the book before watching the movie [though either way the movie is still stellar].

Every time I see that book I want to watch The Host. It's a Korean monster/horror film about a creature created when some embalmers dump a crapton of formaldehyde down the drains which empty into the river.

I'm currently reading a variety.

- Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith
- The Two Towers: J.R.R. Tolkien
- Dracula: Bram Stoker
- Les Misérables: Victor Hugo
- The Restaurant at the End of the Universe: Douglas Adams

I'm pretty sure there's more in my pile, but I can't think.

Tolkien intended for it to be one volume, but it was published as three books. It is a trilogy, even if that isn't what the author meant for it to be.

I read a LOT of books. My current ones are the classic Alice In Wonderland, Ju-On by Kei Ohishi and Son Of A Witch by Gregory Maguire.
I reccomend all three of these books. They're awesome! I've also just finished reading Stephen King's famous book, Carrie. That was awesome too! mrgreen

The only reason it's known as a trilogy is because of the manner in which it was published. And it was only published that way for economic reasons.
I figure since he's the author calling it anything other than what he intended is insulting.

Right now, I'm reading 'Rise of the Ogre' (Gorillaz biography) and I'm skimming through a 'Dragonart: Fantasy Characters' art book. The last really good books I read front to back were 'Beowulf' and 'Grendel'.

im reading the house of night series its another vampire book but there are so many interesting differences it is nothing at all like the twilight series. its really good its full of romance passion lies deceit adventure mystery and evil. the first book is marked i have just finished the third chosen. the books are soo good
