About: Lemme guess, you want to know my posting length? I usually write somewhere around what I'm given; my minimum is a decent-sized paragraph, and I'm not known to go much above four paragraphs. My spelling and grammar are on a literate to advanced level. As for what I like to roleplay, I enjoy developing relationships between characters in-depth, whether they're romantic or platonic -- and on the subject of relationships, I have no preference between het, slash, and femslash, so long as the couple makes some amount of sense to me. I'm flexible, so feel free to ask me for something if you're not sure I'm interested; I don't bite.

About: I enjoy writing, it is one of my passions. I am looking for a Literate Rp partner with creative ability that is able to play strong and well rounded characters. I'm really literate... seeing as how I have an English degree (with a Creative Writing minor).

I prefer to RP through the forums or PMs so that I can get gold for it. I've been RPing for years now, RPing on a daily basis since 2001. If you want to RP something that's not on my list, just ask. I may have seen it or read it!

The stuff above are liked pairings from shows. Some have [NP] after the title, which means that I have "No Preference"... so suggest something! You may also find [NP] after a character name / , which in that case means that I'll pair that person with anyone!
The italics are the characters I would want to play and, keep in mind, I prefer to play UKE (but will play SEKE) so they would be the UKE or SEKE in the above relationship.
Feel free to suggest a pairing that you don't see on there!

There are a TON of anime/manga that I've seen/read... You can check my MAL (username: Ashuri) and suggest something you see there (in the Completed or Watching or Reading category only please... I can't RP something I haven't seen/read yet).

I pride myself on being IN CHARACTER, and I've never had any complaints about how I play people in RPs (or how I write them in stories).

My favorite pairings to play though are for; "Code Geass", "Gensoumaden Saiyuki", "Final Fantasy", "Ouran High School Host Club", "Saiunkoku Monogatari", "Tales of the Abyss", "Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, "Yami no Matsuei", and MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE is "Kidou Senshi Gundam 00"!

Other things I'll RP (though not in a Yaoi sense) are "Lord of the Rings", "Dragonlance", "Dragonball Z", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (PGSM)", "Star Wars", and "Harry Potter"... just to name a few! Heck, I'll RP anything in the above listing without a yaoi sense if you want to!

I'll also do Original RPs if I like the plot, so don't be afraid to ask! For an example of how I work in an Orignal RP... check THIS out!

Also, I'm not one of those incredibly picky people that says you have to write me a book as a reply. It isn't the length of your reply that's important to me... but the message that reply conveys. Sometimes, something simple can be said in a few sentences... or even one word (like, ｢愛してる」 / "Aishiteru").

NOTE: If the RP is an anime/manga/video game or an Original in Japan (or I have a Japanese character), I will be prone to inject Japanese into conversations. Don't worry though, I'll always provide a translation at the end!

About: First off, let me explain what I mean by "not following labels". While yes, I do enjoy yaoi, I am not here for ukes and semes. I find it to be very limiting, and prefer to have our characters be more realistic and not be restrained by their title. My characters are who they are; they will not bend to the will of these terms, and I'd like for yours to be the same. I'm sure this has turned people away... die-hard yaoi fans who can't see past their comfort zone of uke, seme and seke, but this is what I do.

I post anywhere from three paragraphs to two-three pages of writing. Here are four examples of my writing ability. If you can match that, great, if you can do better, awesome, if not, then I would like your own examples. Please be capable of decent spelling, grammar and be able to post two-three paragraphs per post at the bare minimum.

Above length, I would love to get into your characters heads. Describe things, have thoughts... Don't be mindless drones. It's just no fun and there's no character development that way. How can my characters be expected to enjoy the company of yours if they're just flat speech text? Help me move along the plot, talk with me, and let's have fun! I'm really not as hard and mean as this may make me seem. I just know if I don't demand certain things, we won't get very far.

I prefer not to use pictures, especially anime ones, but if that what you enjoy then I am not against it. Age gaps are amazing, especially older men (though not necessary), and I'm okay with drama and playing multiple characters. Just please don't go overboard emo on me. There's good drama, and then there's bad. You should know what I'm talking about, hopefully.

About:

I prefer games that are original and I constantly have plot bunnies swirling around in my head. I like adding obstacles and twists to my role-plays, so I want someone who is just as crazy and active as I am. I'm also hoping for someone who is willing to play a strong, very dominant [mean] Seme because my Ukes are very difficult to handle. Otherwise, if I’m playing a Seme, I prefer a very meek, sweet Uke. If you want to be an uke, you need to be on an intermediate to advanced level, or I'll lose interest in you. Again, I like the Uke role best. heart My length usually varies with my partners. Long posts will be met with long replies.
