After some time to reflect and some food in his stomach, Erik was his happy, normal self again. "Maura, why did you jump out and demand to fight her of all people?" he asked as they watched the sunset.

Maura couldn't really answer him. She told him, "I don't know! I felt like I had to protect you from her! She's bossy and stubborn and mean to that poor little cat!" she said.

"You know who that cat was right?" Erik smiled.

"No who?" she asked. Erik never told her that the one twin was a girl by night. They'd be switching soon too!

Erik laughed. "It's the other twin!" he answered. "Her name is Kiki, I think! I don't exactly know if this is true, but I hear she prefers the night life!" he told her. "And to set the record straight, Dragea is a lot like you!" he teased.

"No she's not!" Maura snapped and she punched him in the head. "Now brush my hair!" she ordered giving him her hairbrush.

Finally, after a long pause, "It's not like that. Your my sister and I care for you. It's just sometimes...I wish I could be more free...I don't get to do much by day.she said, closeing her eyes. "I-It's not fair. By day...I can't sleep because I want to make sure your not alone. and by night, when I am human...your asleep, and I'm to tired to do much. But I have to stay up to watch over you.."she covered her face with her paws, wanting to cry, despritly. But tears would never come...not when she was like this. Cats couldn't cry...but she wasn't a cat, she was a girl! She was a human! "Dammit! Dragea...I'm so tired...so very tired of this life we have to live..."she said weakly in her mind. Kiki got the short end of the curse...awake by day, and night. Never getting to rest, or play like she truely wanted.

Kiki sighed, "Lets hurry and get this over with...the sun will set soon..."she said, truely tired, like always...

She looked at her sister, somewhat incredulously. She looked down at the ground. What would kiki have to say if she knew? What if she knew Dragea's true reason for not using human alchemy? She'd probably be very upset with her.

This made her act a little coldly again, though her sister would see through her as feeling guilty. 'I never asked you to stay up. I'd fine on my own. Besides, you need the rest. If you need to sleep at night, you know I'd wake up, if someone was coming to close for our comfort. If you're that tired, go to sleep.'

Kiki only looked to her sister, seeing right through her act. "I'm fine with it...We are sisters...we stick togather, no matter what."she said, smileing.

The vets office was in sight now. Kiki's normal nature showed it's childish face again. "H-Here...we go...ok! Breath Kiki breath!"she began to hyperventilate.((SP?)) She began to struggle in Dragea's arms. "No! I'm fine!! Lets just go!! AHHH!!"she screamed, trying to get free.
She acted as if the conversation just beofre was never said. That was so like her.

'You are soooo predictable.' She thought to her sister, chuckling softly and shaking her head. She held all four of the cat's limbs together and laid her down on a warm towel, having forced the vets to put one on the cold table. She also forced to put gloves on and sterilize the needle. Kiki having been freaking out the entire time left both her and the vets with several scratches, but they were in and out of the place in no time.

Kiki's fur was all astray ans sticking up in some places. "T-That...place...is...hell!! Never again! Never, a-gain!"she yelled in her head, looking at her paw with its new bandage on it. She moaned and groaned, wiggleing around in Dragea's arms. "To better your pet...HA! More like, kill cause fear in all small creatures if you ask me...Kiki grumbled.

Dragea had been carrying Kiki for sometime beofre she spoke again. "so...can we stay in a hotel or something? I don't wanna stay in the woods..."she said, hopeing her sister would say yes.

The only thing on her mind right now was when she could play next. Eather with Young Master, or with Dragea when it was time for the eclipse.

Dragea chuckled. "Oh, calm down, ya little furball!" She teased, ruffling the fur on Kiki's head, but then started scratching the back of her ears. Cats liked that and Kiki was no different. It made Dragea smile. 'Sure, sure. You deserve sleeping in a comfortable bed.'

Kiki purred under Dragea's touch, her back arching. Her tail stuck straight in the air, almost getting Dragea in the face agian. "Left...right..Nyaa!!..."she purreed agian.

Kiki smiled, her teeth showing, "goody! Then I can talk without worry! Maybe even get some sleep too!"she smiled up at her sister, brushing her face against hers, showing she was pleased with her anwser.

The two runaways had bought a room in the small, nearby hotel. They both took nice hot showers and enjoyed their first comfy bed in long while. Maura had Erik brushing her hair once again. He'd been asked to do it so much by girls at the orphange that he was a pro at it!

Erik let out a sigh as he brushed and stroked her long black hair. "What a day!" he said softly.

"Yeah, today was pretty fulfilling! We finally met the twins, as bad as that turned out!" Maura said bitterly.

"Don't be that way! I'm sure they've been through way more bullshit than us, so at least understand where their coming from!" Erik scolded her.

Dragea smiled, taking up a few small rocks and making a fist. With a small fash of light, in her hand was now enough money to get them a single-bed room. It was all they'd need. She Put Kiki down and pulled out her sister's cloak, putting the money in the pocket for her to find. She looked up as the sun would be setting in several minutes.

Kiki looked up at her sister, "We should hide over there."she said, pointing to a near by ally wat near the hotel they would be staying at. "That way, no one will see the light..."she said. Getting ready for the sun to set. They would need to hurry if they didn't want to be noticed.

Dragea nodded and walked over as she just noticed a very slight glow that was unnoticable for now, because of the cloak. She sighed. "God, such a pain..." She uttered, grumbling. She looked over to the sun as the glow continued to get bright. "Hurry up already..."

Kiki could feel hersels changeing, so she ran her full speed toward the ally, "Come on Dragea! It's time!"even her voice was changeing, from her smooth, purrish voice, to a sweet, almost to sweet voice.

As soon as Dragea made it to the ally, it was just in time. Kiki's body glowed a bright white, as well as Dragea's. The bright white fromed from, a small cat, to something bigger. Her body grow and expanded. She was transforming.

After a split second, Kiki had Dragea had changed. Kiki was now a young woman. She grabed the cloak that Dragea had in her mouth(That was once in her hand) and covered herslef. It's not that she was naked, she just never felt comfurtable with the way she looked. She didn't think she was pretty, though her sister was. But, indeed she was beautiful, just like her sister.

Kiki put the cloak over her face, trying her best to hide her oddly colored hair. "Wow...how close was that?"she asked her sister in her human voice. It was sweet like honey. She picked her sister up, hideing her away from sight.

Kiki walked out of the ally way, her long slender legs shined in the moonlight, she was very pale, as was her hair and eyes. "Lets get our room shall we? Then you can come out."she giggled, it felt good to walk on her heman feet. 'I wonder...were could Young Master be...I wish to..play...'she said to herself, hopeing Dragea wasn't listening in.
