My birthday is December 25. I hate it with a passion and have tried to get my parents to celebrate it on a different day, but they will not. crying
I wanted chocolate, to go to a good restaurant, and manga/books/money. I got chocolate, and my parents decided that sending us to Florida to visit friends counted as the rest of the gift. Unfortunately, I still got stuck searching for the cheapest tickets. My friends got me books and other good stuff though ^.^ And I got good food there too. My grandma is Christian, so we have to celebrate Christmas with her (I'm Jewish). She insists on serving turkey, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, ad similar stuff. And makes oatmeal cake for desert and serves pistachio ice cream... I only really like the mashed potatoes. Being Jewish, food is of utmost importance, so not getting good food on my birthday makes me sad. Especially because it's practically Jewish tradition to get Asian food on Christmas. Oh well... at least she stopped serving ham when she figured out that mom wouldn't eat it.
Sorry for the rant. sweatdrop
