OfCourseImAwesome Melisciose22 OfCourseImAwesome Melisciose22 its always that way...movies have a certain time frame to fir everything and sometimes they cut some of the important scenes or plots of the story I know. GAH! But I guess it would be best, 'cause those scenes make the movie longer & who would want to watch a movie longer than 2 hours?
not me my butt would fall alseep....lol Lol, if there's good food there, maybe I'll watch it. I'll mostly be paying attention to the food though.

undacuva_druid yeshyesh undacuva_druid Yesh, won't admit she loves it (she owns the series!!! WTF?!) got me and another into it Hehe, I can't really admit to something I'm not guilty of; it's one of those things that are so bad, it's good... like Big Trouble In Little China. I lent it to you thinking you'd also see how hilariously bad it was, and laugh about the glitteriness and the thunderous baseball games... and then you became a fangirl. But really, I can't take a book where vampires sparkle like diamonds in the sunlight seriously. It just... doesn't make sense. I realise vampires don't exist and hence, don't have to make sense in the first place but COME ON. And if I were Bella seeing Edward under the sun for the first time, I would have giggled until my sides hurt and he ran away in shame - you know, not just stand there, stroke his collarbone and think about how pretty he is. So there - if I own it and love it, I love it because it's ridiculously bad. Just like BTiLC. I am not a fan girl! I enjoyed it a lot. But I admit it is extremely flawed and I make fun of it as much as you. Especially the glittering. That's not possible under the laws of physics nor biology... and how can she find it pretty instead of hilarious??? I agree... im not a fan girl as well...a friend of mine was obessesed obessed with vampires after reading the Twilight series>< i luved it but seriously... yeah...i agree...some parts weren't really too realistic>< but it wasn't that bad...

Hee, we'll have to agree to disagree - other than the lack of realism (I understand it's not a realistic concept, but yeah - it was a tad too silly), I really found the writing kind of... painful - I don't really think people want to read about Bella's breakfast muesli or her annoyance at a slow internet connection, and it doesn't add to the story at all. I suppose what draws me in, the fact that I still read the series despite my annoyance with it, is the relationship between Bella and Edward... which is funny, 'cause I dislike both characters on their own. Ohwell. Also: might have a slight girl-crush on Alice.

I don't know about any of you (and my disdain was already apparent) but IMO anything that was redeeming about the series was killed with Breaking Dawn. Fo' serious.
ALSO: I found it amusing that the price of the book managed to drop $10 on the same day that it was released. At least, at all the major book stores in Perth. Kind of says something about it, no?

A friend spoiled the ending which I wasnt all that excited over anyway. But it's really stupid. One day when I have time I'll go and buy it and read it. Maybe after exams...

Ahhhh.... I know it's late to say it, but I finished the book within 16hours of recieving it in my hot little hand. I almost killed my friends cause I was trying to read and drive on the way home. I love it, but it took me awhile to admitt to myself that I did love it. At first, I hated it. Way out in left field twists, uber angry-making ending, and not to mention my dear sweet Edward is no longer single, but I did like it, ex post facto (after the fact, for those of you not brushed up on Latin). The real reason why most people didn't like it was because it was so different from the other books, like another person was writing it. Bella became unrelateable, all seemed well in the Jacob universe, although he just lost the "love of his life", not to mention the HUGE twist that turned all we knew about the vampire world on it's ear. In reality, that was the only way the series could end. After much inner grief, denile, and stuggle, I have some to peace with this. Doesn't mean I have to like it, but I am at peace. ooohhhhmm..
*btw, FB, the name of the books, in order, is: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn*
