It's because you still have a sense of inhibition, and probably a healthy conscience. I can comfortably say I have quite little of either one.

Oh? That's a shame... You seem to be conscientious, but perhaps I am misled? b

I have a sense of right and wrong, but I have a sense of personal desire which has ultimate veto over the two. I have my standards, and on the occasion they agree with the common concept of right and wrong, it is only because it suits my purpose to do so. I'm quite the Machiavellian, you know.

I do not. (First, I had to learn what this term meant... sweatdrop ) You don't seem manipulating, to me, but perhaps this is because you do it so well... I think that everyone tries to do what will be best for them, to some extent. To any extent, though, I believe that people will do what they think is best (otherwise they wouldn't do it at all)! b

I'm not manipulating you. It doesn't suit me to do so, I have no reason to do so. And perhaps there are those who do the 'right' thing, but they are few in number compared to that which doesn't. A sad reality, to be honest, but... Wait, we've alread discussed that.

so, essencially your a cynic, Mobius?
Its odd, cause i didn't feel that from you...people hide behind many masks, but you were not hiding, though---you just didn't tell because no one asked
*laughs* well, i still could not live without people just for the simple reason its not healthy...
i need contact, even though i talk to myself quite often---its boring after a while. And well...eventually, no one wants to be alone.

I am not a cynic. I just acknowledge both the positives and negatives in the world and try to enforce one when the other is being apotheosized to induce a sense of fairness, to remind us of the true Duality that exists within our hearts...
Even when you're alone, you're not truly... alone.

You misunderstand. First off, unless you're religious, you cannot say that one thing is right or wrong excepting your very personal morals. I would be truly alone if I were the last person on Earth. Despite whatever animals there may be, haunting memories would plague me with such guilt that I could not go on. Now, the reason that I say that you misunderstand is this: I To any extent, though, I believe that people will do what they think is best (otherwise they wouldn't do it at all)! You turned this into "...people will do what they think is right..." This is not what I said though. I everyone tries to do what will be best for them Everyone does what they think is best, with or without regard to what they may believe is "right." b

People often describe time with circles, ellipses, or other round features. Is time rounded? b

Well, times suspose to be linear---as everyone has said it to be...
But maybe it can be circular; actually, at some times in life, it does seem circular...*thinks* confused
