I hate the new transformers what happened to cartoons actually looking artistic, not like they were drawn by a 6 year old kid.

I was a cartoon junkie myself. Shera, He-man, Thundercats, Captain Planet, Shirt tales, Munchkins, Smurfs, Fraggle Rock GI Joe, Voltron, all those. I remember Every Saturday Morning getting up an putting Cartoon Express on.

I think there was one called the Misfits, Rock and Roll band transform into superheroes.

I hate the idiocy of new shows that are supposed to be for kids and like I said, they all look like they are drawn by little kids, nothing very artistic about them anymore.

The new versions of old cartoons make me sick.

Oh and why can you never find Grumpy Bear in the Care Bears toys these days.

Oh I could ramble about the so called kids programming these days FOREVER!!!!!!

Oh man, I really miss most of those cartoons, but I watch them online sometimes. Plus, now-a-days you can watch the original Japanese anime with subtitles that aren't jacked up and changed.

My ultimate favorite, though, has to be Tom & Jerry / Tom & Jerry Kids!
on the simpsons they did a great job of showing the truth about T & J with the Itchy & Scatchy show.

Others unnamed, i think, are Lady Lovely Locks and the Pixie Tails
Strawberry shortcake, Pinky and The Brain, so many others.

I Love Captain Planet and Thundercats, thank you very much. Along with the classics of Looney Tunes and the original Goofy tutorials (those things were hilarious)

I used to have a Lady Lovely Locks VHS, Might still have it somewhere in this house. I SO wanted her Pixie Tales! LOL

I am going to be a stick in the mud here and say that the cartoons of the 80s and 90s were crap. I have tried to watch some of them recently and all I want to do is claw my eyes out. There are some cartoons today where I want to do the same, but not all.

Its honestly the same crap just in a new package. Advertise products and teach children about kindness or sharing. Now there's Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh back in my day it was Captain N and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I don't know, I wind up having to have the kids change shows because I find some of the programs today crude and dumb. Although I DO sit with my kids to watch Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, there ok. But shows like Ed, Edd, and Eddy; Chowder, some others....

I can't stand that show Chowder. They should make more new cartoon like Billy and Mandy. I love that show, especially the "Little Rock of Horror" episode. That was great. I do miss Looney Tunes, because now if I see something fuzzy and I make the comment "I want to pet it and hug it and name it George," most of the kids have no idea what I'm talking about. It's wrong.

I remember many cartoons from my childhood. My Little Pony, Jem, Smurfs, Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, Garfield to name a few.

I dislike how they are making old shows to appear new. It's just not the same.

As for the new cartoons, the animation and plots look like there was no love put into it and made to look like a 3 year did it.

There ARE some shows that I can tolerate, but I watched DVD's more then ever.

New cartoons make me hate Macromedia Flash and 3D rendering software. >.<

What happened to actually going to the love and effort of animating it yourself instead of having a computer do it for you? That's a reason why I don't care for the newer Gundam shows.

How about Centaurions, Gargoyles, SWAT Kats and Bonkers! That Bonkers, man he was onnnne crazy cat.

SWATKATS and Gargoyles were good earily moring cartoon's and in the afternoon in the late 90's was Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z.

Hmmm . . . . let's see . . .

there was Tiny Toons, Voltron, Smurfs, Rainbow Brite, Garfield, TMNT, Reboot, DBZ, Xmen, and a LOT of Disney ones like Goof Troop and Gummi Bears. (I'm a 80-90's girl)

Wow, I really loved My Little Ponies too. I rewatched them recently and realized my love for them should have stuck to the dolls.

Actually, there are a few shows that I really enjoy nowadays. I like The Misadventures of Flapjack and Avatar the Last Airbender a lot~

The only "new" cartoons I've taken a liking to are Fosters and Ed, Ed, and Eddie. The rest of them? Ugh.

I used to watch:

+Gummy Bears - got the DVDs! I want to know what happened in part two of the episodes when the Great Book was stolen. I never got to find out!!

+Ducktales - Heck yes

+Rescue Rangers - I've always wanted to be Gadget!

+Inspector Gadget - There's something I've always wanted to try..... and I still might do it, lol. (Oh noes, TV is influencing me! Bad show, BAD!).

+TMNT - The old version. Weee!

+Teddy Rumpskin - I had three bears, and broke all of them, lol.

+Super Mario Brothers/Zelda - Funny thing about this. Back then, I loved Mario and hated Zelda. Now that I'm older, it's the opposite.

+Today's Special - Not a cartoon series. It was kind of like Seasame Street but better. Again, I never knew what happened in another two part episode....

+Seasame Steet - Doesn't get any better than Kermit the Frog and the Rubber Ducky song, I don't care what anyone else thinks!

+Bullwinkle and Rocky - I'm getting these DVDs as well. Have box 1 already.

+Carmen San Diego - The live version. I always thought that one of the singers for that show was hot. 3nodding

+Power Rangers - only the first two seasons.

+Anamaniacs, Tiny Toons - Afterschool goodness

+Garfield - Another reason I got up on Saturday mornings!

+Looney Tunes, Woody Wood Pecker - Old time classics.

These are all the cartoons that have significance for me. I remember more of them than I thought I would! eek

Rocco's Modern Life. <3 Odd yet it was funny!

Darkwing Duck, I think...Duck Tales, Tail Spin..... Oh and although I hated the show....Doug, Goof Troops. Old X-Men, TMNT.

These were more 90's then 80's.

I think I am getting really old. I watched a lot of cartoons but I hardly remember them! I'm only 24. crying

i noticed that most cartoons now are crap. and the rate at which the put those shows on the air is evidence at how little effort they put in them...

i miss the old Loony Tunes, and i too have used the "call him george" bit
