Honestly, I've watched too much of the anime and I don't beleive that any Pokemon is ever truly weak. However, Magikarps are useless until they evolve, unless they're shiny, in which case they are still weak but totally cool. I also have never found Oddish to be useful. I'm sure that with training they could become strong, but I think they're just too common and annoying and the moves they learn are really weak.

Poison Powder, Stun Powder, Sleep Powder, Moonlight, Giga Drain, Petal Dance. Doesn't sound week to me. ^^

Well, I'm the type of person who prefers an all offensive move-set, so the only one I like is Giga drain. Petal dance lasts too long and leaves you confused.

Breed it with something that knows Razor Leaf, then teach it Sunny Day and Solar Beam. Problem solved. ^^

It's a known fact that Magicarp are the weakest Pokemon, it even says so in the Sinnoh Pokedex! These are the exact words:

"It's the world's weakest Pokemon. No one knows how/why it has managed to survive." Sorry, I can't remember if it said how or why...

Magicarp is weak when first caught but you can teach it moves and it would be better smile

Magikarp only learns tackle at level 15 and no other moves (not even TM/HMs).
Magikarp is useless until level 20.

in sinnoh region magikarp fresh caught knows tackle.......

i think baby pokemon are weak because they dont have high states when there on level 60 ... =/

I disagree, Elekid, Clefa and Pichu can pack a punch if you bred correctly.

Sad to say, because I love it dearly, I think Farfetch'd is the weakest of the leek--er, weak.
At least Magikarp can evolve into Gyarados. Farfetch'd is one lonely little duck.
(But I still like to use him. x) )

They need an evolution for him....Fire/Flying maybe?...It would be intresting to beat people with Roast duck ninja

Any Farfetch'd evo needs to be Flying/Fighting. A Samurai Duck. ^^
