Syn made sure he had everything before clocking out. He said goodbye to the other nurses, doctors as well as patients before heading out. He unlocked his truck, placing his bag and everything else inside before hopping in himself. He closed the door behind him before starting it up and off he went. He made sure to turn his lights on before moving into the road and then continued on his way. He was beyond tired and could not wait til he got home. He turned on the radio just to have something to fill the silence if his truck as he continued on his way home. Soon enough he saw the farm in the distance and all but cheered silently as he pulled into the driveway. He turned the truck off before grabbing his stuff and heading inside. He made sure to lock up his vehicle before going inside and closing the door behind him. He placed his bag by the door and his keys in the key dish before making his way to his bedroom. He managed to change into his bed clothes as well as place his cell on charge before hopping into bed and falling asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. He was off tomorrow so he could sleep in which was good.

After reaching home and having seen that Alica is all tuckered away and still snoozing off on the couch, Morgan did his nightly routine before climbing into bed and the soft mewl from Bella sounded like she's wishing him a goodnight right before she climbed onto the bed herself and found a comfortable spot beside the detective. Not minding at all, Morgan covered the both him and Bella before petting her head a bit and scratching the back of her ear as she purrs; lulling herself asleep. A little adjustment before he could sleep himself, Morgan looks at a little structure in his room and looks at the frame inside then at the small vase beneath it. Letting out a quiet sigh, Morgan closes his eyes before sleep takes over.

The next morning, the roosters call as Morgan's alarm goes off at the time he's supposed to get ready for work. The sound of the other shower room being used, meant someone in the house was up as Avery's banter can be heard in the hallway with Gerry as she's carrying him to the upper bathroom. The cold can be felt somewhat as the detective gets his clothes ready before taking a bath downstairs. Bella yawned and stretched to wake herself up before hoping off the bed and hearing the sound of kibbles entering a small metal bowl meant it's breakfast for her.

Yui can be heard greeting the little kitten good morning as she prepares today's breakfast. Morgan wondered if Syn was awake by now and sent him a text message wishing the young healer a good morning.

Ooc: Well she'll have to stay home at the barn since Morgan couldn't always bring her along. Though that wouldn't stop him from trying, but Gerry can sometimes become a strict lil sister-in-law and it'll be hard for Morgan to argue with, lol where do you think Morgan gets his habit of being a big brother to the guys in the precinct?

Syn was actually dead to the world at the moment. He had been exhausted when he arrived home and barely had time to do what he had to do before he was asleep. He was surprised that he had even made it to the bed. But he heard his phone chirp and stirred under his blanket, reaching one hand out to grab the phone and pull it under the covers with him. It was good morning text from Morgan. He blinked a few times to focus his vision and sent a response. {Morning. Tired. Going back to sleep but you have a good day. See you later as Gerry had invited me to dinner.} was what he sent before he turned over and went back to sleep. It was still early and he had to check on the nursery bit he would deal with it later. Plus, he had to go into town as well as to get some supplies for the garden he had been wanting to start. There was a spot in the front yard that would be perfect for what he was planning and he could not wait to get started. That and the dessert he was bringing to Gerry's dinner tonight. Once he for his sleep in of course then he would get right on it.

Once he's all changed after getting out of the shower and after the light breakfast he and Alica had, the two were off to the city; Bella had finished her big breakfast as well as she roams the house a bit for the time being.

Afterwards, Avery and Gerry head downstairs to get something to eat as well before the fox is off to work at the bakery. Pam was already eating as Yui continues to cook enough for everyone before she eats as well. The lil chatter between Avery and Pam livened up the table while Yui and Gerry focused on their meal though they couldn't help but giggle at Avery and the manticore girl as they continue to bicker between one another.

Once everyone had breakfast, they all got ready for work except for Avery who'll have to standby and let his copy do all his work. Yui heads off into the barn to check on the cattle while Pam does her flybys to check on the condition of the fields. Gerry gathers her things for work as she kissed her husband goodbye and off she goes to the bakery.

Syn stirred sometime later, yawning as he sat up and removed his covers. He blinked a few times to wake himself before hopping on of bed and towards his bathroom to start his day. The hot water of the shower did it's job and woke him up fully. After drying off and getting dressed, he decided to head to town to do some shopping as it was his day off and he could finally get some stuff done around the house before going over to Gerry's for dinner. He made a mental note to pick up the ingredients for the dessert he was going to make and bring. And with that he grabbed his bag, keys and jacket and was out the door. After starting the truck, he was off to town, making a mental note of what he needed as he drove. He decided that he was going to get started on that garden he had been thinking about. Even thought it was still kind of cold, he could still plant them so they would be already growing by the time it warned up more. Once he got the market, he made sure that he added to his mental on what he would need. He also made a note to call Avery and check on him after he was done.

As they're on their way to the city, Morgan busies himself with the daily news on his phone as he reads up on what's going on these days around the world but focused mostly on events that's happened in the city and other nearby counties. The local news broadcast was on as well to give the two a bit of insight from someone else, though Alica was mostly concentrating on the road and roaming around in her own world simultaneously, something that's having Morgan question as to how she can do two things at once.

While listening in on the news and reading the online forums, Morgan wonders about a few of his old friends and wonders if he should give em a call one of these days, including one who's currently in the US military. {"In other news, it's been 6 years since the dollar epidemic first occurred within the major cities and although access into these cities are still prohibited by the UN and the world governments; Military Branches around the world are still making an effort into assisting those who're still living in the quarantined zones of the cities still affected by the epidemic, though rioters and violent groups have made it difficult for a cure to be found and continuing destruction of local operations have caused major drawbacks for both on-field agents and CDC operators still working on a stable vaccine. However, after a brief conference, the Elven nation has stepped in to provide future aid by sending in their unmanned peacekeepers into key zones where the disease made a major impact."} the news anchor continued on with the report as her fellow anchorman commented on the situation.

Morgan was listening in as he stopped reading to give the radio his attention. He remembered one of his friends was still living in New York as it was one of the cities that was hit the most when the disease spread rapidly there. Frank lived in Jersey but at least it was outside the quarantine zone. Still Morgan hoped everything will be okay on Franks side as well as his old friend who's still on Manhattan Island. Then the thought on Syn came up as Morgan felt he'd do anything to keep Syn safe even from a man-made disease if he try and thinking about Avery and the others, the detective would step up to make sure everyone close to him was safe.

Ooc: y'know, I dunno why, but boy x boy genres ain't too bad. At first I was a avoiding reading or watching em but eh nowadays, it's cute.

Syn made sure not to park in anyone's way as turned off the truck in the farm and home supply store. He grabbed everything he would need before grabbing a cart and heading inside. He was going to need a lot of things if he wanted to start his garden as well as make some repairs around the farm so it was nice that he could ask the workers, who were very nice and helpful. Thought he guessed it was because he was a mystery and people wanted to get to know the 'pretty woman' who now lived in Meadow Farm. He was really going to have to do something about people thinking he was a woman. Maybe he could get a haircut? Hmm. He would ask Morgan and ask what he thought. He would probably be in town for most of the morning, shopping. Then some lunch, then home so he could get started on his garden. He could not wait. And with that, he continued along the aisle.

Once at the precinct, Morgan gets dropped off as Alica heads off to the federal office a couple blocks away. The precinct had the same hustle and bustle and filled with people coming in to file a complaint of some sort or for their drivers or to fill out state IDs or passports for travel, or to simply renew official IDs to avoid any inconvenience in the future. The detective could only let out a sigh of relief as if he stepped into another day in the office as he heads over to his desk, though surprisingly, there isn't a lot of paper work that's filled his inbox.

Working on whatever is left on his desk, Morgan took his time for a change as he reads through the few reports he's gotten. A few officers came over for a chat or the usual bicker that needs the detectives insight before they scurry off to do their rounds or answer a 911 call. Boring as it may seem, Morgan didn't mind it as he finds things to keep himself busy and not feel like there isn't much to do in the office. Suddenly a sweet craving came to mind as he wonders what Syn would bring for tonight's dinner, Morgan would clock out a bit early if Gerry and Avery planned a special meal, though part of him wonders what's the occasion as it's not too often the two would plan on having dinners like this.

Syn walked out the store with several bags of what he had purchased in the store, placing them in the bed of the truck. Once that was done, be headed to the market to gather what he would need to make dessert for tonight's dinner. He had decided on making tiramisu as it was a good dessert. He just hoped everyone would like it. So, with that, he grabbed a cart and was off again. But not before texting Morgan to ask how his day was going and to ask if he should cut his hair. He really didn't expect a responset o that last statement it it wouldn't hurt to ask. He would spend some time in there, gathering ingredients as well as talking to other farmers who were there as well before continuing on his way. While he was there, he made sure to grab himself something from the deli before going on his way. He paid for everything and was on the road. This time on his way home to get started on his garden and some minor fixes to the farm. As he drove, he wondered if he could ask Avery if he could spare a milk cow. He texted the other male and asked while at a stop light before driving on the the lights turned green.

While sorting through some folders, Morgan's phone chimed as he took a look at who sent him a text, reading Syn's message, the detective wrote back saying it's a bit slow on his end even though there are other people who're coming in to file something with the police, there wasn't much for him to do except for folder sorting and a few papers to sign and put in the outbox. Syn's last question though got Morgan thinking for a bit, {"W-well if you do plan on cutting your hair, you may look more masculine at least, but I shouldn't be the one to tell you which haircut to get, it's your choice, but I think any hairstyle you pick would look nice. heart "} Morgan sent the message until he realized the heart emoji in the end. The text was already sent anyways as Morgan could only facepalm himself as his cheeks were beet red, well he didn't know how Syn would react but the detective did had feelings, although it could be just like close friends showing likes or dislikes and making fun conversations between one another.

Syn had placed everything in the kitchen before he heard his phone go off. It was a response from Morgan. He read it with a smile then blinked at the heart emoji. He didn't mind it but he didn't mind. {Ah.Thanks for the advice. I think I will get it cut whenever I get the chance. Have a good day, Morgan. See you later.❤️} he sent back with the same emoji, thought he wasn't going to make a big deal about it though he wished he could see the other's face. After placing his phone in his jumper pocket and then got to work placing everything away. Well, the food anyway as he would need them later. After he was done with that, he grabbed the garden supplies as headed to a patch on the side of the farm to where he would start to tend to his garden. It was sure to be a fun project on his days off. And so, he would spend the rest of the afternoon getting his garden ready until it was time for him to start making his dessert for when he headed over to Avery's for dinner tonight.

It took a while for Morgan to check his phone when it went off to show Syn's reply and seeing the heart emoji at the end, made his face blushed a little but there was a smile. Though he began to go through the image of how Syn'll look with shorter hair. There were a lot of hairstyles that popped into his head until a large stack of papers made a thud on his inbox. The employee handing em out informed Morgan that there were two more stacks coming in as he left to the archival room. This seemed more than what he's used to seeing and looking through them, these seem more like applications from the police academy while others are from patrols during christmas holiday.

Picking up his pen and grabbing a good amount of reports, Morgan began to look through them as he reads through each one before starting another handful.

On the side note back at the farm, Avery's clone and the girls have finished preparations for spring time and as they've started their break, Avery got a little visitor, two actually as one was riding on the back of the other. Seems like the little changeling found a new friend when Bella was roaming around the house on her own after the little nap she took, the little guy waved at Avery with both hands as he scoops the two up onto his lap. Avery chuckled as he let the little guy climb onto his hand while Bella rests on Avery's lap, looking out onto the field though, it was peacefully calm and the weather was nice with light snow falling down. Everyone had worn something for the cold weather and the girls had their specially made winter jackets to work in the weather, still it was quite warm at the house as the two made their way over to warm up as well as having a warm beverage to beat the cold.

Syn had made to wear a jacket as it was still chilly out as well as the snow that hadn't quite melted. He planted the seeds of his garden as well as some crop seeds, getting several moles to help him make sure that the seeds were set so that they would bloom when spring arrived. After that, he decided to go and fix some the the things around the house and barn. He knew that this would take several hours as their were a lot of things that needed fixing. He started by fixing the fence that separated his farm from his neighbors. Not Morgan's place as they were always welcome but the other farmers nearby. He did not wanting their animals to get themselves hurt when they triggered the protective spell. He made sure to check on Avery while he did this, as he wanted to know how he and the other's were doing. Be would see them tonight but still.

Everything was ready for next season as the girls were resting up for now on the porch, though for Avery however, he's busy practicing how to properly control his copy as the clone does some basic laps around the before heading off onto the main road wearing jogging clothes. It was a good mental practice as well as finding out the limits of the clone's range to see what might happen if it's gotten too far or anything else that might occur. In the meantime, Avery dotted some notes while half of his brain focuses on controlling the clone; suddenly Avery noticed part of his vision blurred a bit as he jumped from his seat and dropped his pen and book before a sharp throb in his head ached, wondering what happened, his clone was face first on the ground as it just collapsed outside the front entrance of the farm. Seeing that and writing down what had happened, it seems as though there is a certain range the clones can be controlled from until they stopped functioning.

Pam on the other hand figured she make everyone some hot coco for the weather as she came out with 4 cups on a tray, Yui wondered who's the fourth cup for as Pam suggested she brings it over to Syn to help him warm up before tonight's dinner before flying off with her cup and Syn's.

Syn was still working, this time on a abandoned shed close to the barn. It would make a very nice storage, just in case he ever needed to well, store something. After a while, he decided that he was done for now and needed a break. He would pick back on it when he had another free day. So, with that thought he placed the supplies in the barn for now until he could finish the storage shed and then started to head up to the house, rubbing his gloved hands together to warm up as he did so, making a mental note to take a shower and then get started on the dessert he would be making. Once he got to the door, He paused when he heard the flapping of wings and looked around for the source then looked up to see Pam flying his way. Hmm. He had to wonder what she wanted and raised one arm to catch her attention, leaning against his porch railing and waited for her to land. He then noticed the mugs.
