She figured there was no going back on it now so she nodded. She slowly was able to stop shivering, her skin still cool to the touch though.

"After the whole hex thing I kind of figured as much." He said softly, pulling the comforter up for a second so he could wrap them both in it before wrapping his arms around her again. "It does explain the way the villagers are though." He shrugged.

She gladly slid into his arms. "They're still ignorant bastards." She said coolly.

He chuckled a little and nodded. "Well I'm not gonna argue that one with you." He said as he held onto her. "You don't think whatever happened was something I did was it?"

She looked up at him. "No. It was something dark." She looked back down as she rested her head on his chest. "I let my guard down and it seeped in."  

[NightWerewolf]

He let out a sigh of relief, glad it wasn't his fault or something. "Is there some way we can stop that from happening again?" He was worried about her and it showed in his voice.

"I don't know yet." she heard his tone and the whole thing worried her too. She knew she'd have to talk to her grandmother about this.

He nodded slowly and just held her for a few moments. "You want anything to drink?"

She shook her head and then thought about it a moment. "Do you have any tea?" She thought something warm would help her.  

[NightWerewolf]

"Yeah." He got up and grabbed a teapot, filled it water and started to heat it up before putting in the stuff that would actually make it tea.

She pulled the comforter around her closely. she thought about trying to get off the counter, but wanted to wait till he could help her if she needed it. So she just watched him move about the kitchen.

After a little bit he poured them each a cup of tea, handing her one as he went back over the counter and leaned against it.

She cupped it in both hands and sipped it carefully. "Thank you."  

[NightWerewolf]

"No problem." He said with a nod. "As much as I hate to say it I think we should just take it easy until we figure out what happened."

"Unfortunately I agree." she sighed, hating the idea. But the thought of the darkness creeping back in scared her more.
