Still no luck. Perhaps it was his new broom - he wasn't used to the speed. He'd have to learn to control it, or he would just keep barreling past people and missing his target. Focusing back on Daniel and the ball, he tried a bit of a slower approach. Nice and steady. He had to get it, this time.

He felt satisfied with his discovery as the ball slipped easily into his grasp, before he picked up speed and started his circle around the half-pitch back toward Virgil. As long as he made a strategy, he would get better.

Dominic felt his heart pounding in his throat, muffled any sound from his ears. He stomach gave a sadistic churn as it stretched apart and knotted itself, over and over. He could barely breath as he rushed from one side of the pitch to the other where the bludger circled widely around the unused goal posts at their half of the pitch. The last time he’d felt like this, he was at the circus, and he couldn’t breathe because of the fire. Why did it feel like smoke was puncturing his lungs all of a sudden? And the smell of death, the pungent air was stuck in his nose and he scrunched up his face as he tried not to puke. Tried to quell the fire raging inside of him. Clearly distracted, he closed his eyes as he whipped his arm back and struck his bat forward hoping to hit the bludger that he knew was gaining on him. But couldn’t see, couldn’t concentrate to know. Or maybe he did know, because in the back of his mind, he blamed for Virgil for so much of this. If that slimy git hadn’t been down in those dungeons, hadn’t talked to her. He wouldn’t have been so damned determined to have been there to see her. Maybe if he hadn’t been there, she would have gotten bored—and they both would have been home, and safe, and happy.

Eyes closed, he still managed to aim across the entire length of the pitch in half-hearted hope he’d actually strike the little prat in the face! Maybe break his nose, too. But GODS, why does he feel like he’s about to throw up?!

Edajin's eyes focused on Eretria, noticing how quickly she was advancing on the Keeper. He could probably only squeeze in one more attempt, but it had to be a good one. Speeding up as much as he could, he got in close to her and tried to knock the quaffle from her grasp.

Edajin sat back and watched silently as Eretria took the shot, his eyes carefully studying her form for any tidbits he might pick up. He knew that, working with the other chasers, he had scored a good number of goals for the team last year. About half of them, in fact. He'd thought for a moment that his success was due to some amount of skill on his part. Had it all been a fluke? His entire season? He couldn't believe that - Eretria was just better. He'd have to make it to her level before he would be truly recognised, and not just as the boy who caught a bought of beginner's luck. He'd have to get better. And he was bound and determined to do it.

Amanda didn't completely have her head in the game since she also had to watch the other players to know who to choose for her team. It was a good thing that most of the action was with the chasers since she had to pay attention to them the most either way. Amanda watched as Eretria threw the quaffle towards the goal posts, and suddenly, Virgil was hit by a bludger! The blonde swerved, scanning the beaters quickly. Blue eyes fell on Dominic, and a slight glare pierced him. "The hell, Dom!" she shouted to him. You're really lucky you're a good player, she thought with a small groan. Perhaps the beaters were tired of hitting targets. Maybe it was time to change the rules. "You know what? If you wanna hit other players, go ahead. But only hit each other! Leave the chasers, the seekers, and Virgil alone!" The blonde didn't want her only keeper to get knocked out during tryouts since she wouldn't be able to tell how well the chasers could score.

Virgil out of nowere got hit with a bludger the force of it made him bite his tongue. With almost a snarl he looked at where the bludger came from and saw Dominic.'Oh you stupid worm.' Virgil spat out a bit of blood and got the idea to start to fire. "Its ok, his Vampire girlfriend probably has him so screwed up he can't tell a target from his own teammates." Virgil said with a smirk letting out the beans about Gracie. "Or was it you who has her under your control with your Imperius Curse. I can never get that part straight. Both are rather believable at this point." Virgil saw a shot heading his way and cursed as he reached to get it.
