Skylar reverted back to looking like a statue as Himeji winked jokingly.

"I find that I am only as lucky as you are to be married to such a lovely lady."

Skylr watched as Kaneshi's wife blushed and looked pleased while Himeji was patted on the back.

Guess I know where Himeji gets his flirty side from.. Skylar thought, refering to his consant club of fangirls at school.

"Excuse me, sir, but my brother calls."

Skylar was confused as to what Himeji was talking about, until he turned he turned his head in the direction that Himeji nodded, and saw that Kosuke, along with another woman was staring at the two.

Oh god! I completly forgot! Kosuke knows that I am a guy! This is going to to be such an embarrassing and awkward situation!

Skylar literally fainted from embarrassment on the inside as Himeji finished up his conversation with Kaneshi. Before the two could walk away, Skylar was shaken out of his thoughts by a slight nudge to his side. He snapped his head to look at Himeji who stared back at him, as if to urge him forward. It was only then that he understood what Himeji wanted him to do.

With a little jump of surprise, Skylar curtsy'd once again as he said, "It was nice speaking to you both. I hope we get a chance to speak again." He smiled once more before Himeji pulled him along towards his older brother.

As Skylar sighed heavily, he heard Himeji mutter from next to him,"Wonderful,", his tone of genuine praise. "I don't think any woman could have done better."

A light shade of crimson rose in his cheeks; Had Himeji...just praised him?

"W-Well, just don't forget that i'm not a woman..idiot.." Was all Skylar could say as she hid his blush by slightly turning his head to the side and staring down.

"Details, details," Skylar heard Himeji reply without his usual chuckle. Skylar understood that they both couldn't act the way they usually did, so he settled on staring at Himeji blankly as the two reach Kosuke and his date.

"Himeji," Kosuke said as Skylar watched the two brothers shook hands in a professional manner. This made Skylar feel somewhat sad; He knew that the two cared for each...but couldn't show their affection since it would seem 'unprofessional'. The business world was so full of things that he didn't understand. But even so...this was kind of harsh, or at least he thought so.

He wondered who Kosuke's date was, as she bowed low and courtsy'd to both Himeji and him. He had wanted to say 'hello' to Himeji's older brother, but the two has started to talk 'business' as soon as they had gotten all the formalities out of the way.

Oh well, guess I can say hi later. I don't want to disturb them right now...

"My! You do look good in heels."

Skylar tunred towards the woman who was smiling brightly towards him. "Thank you very much. Uh...If you don't mind my asking...er....who are you?"

"Ah! That's right. We haven't met before. My offiicial title would be "Princess of Finland", although you may know me as Nina, Kosuke's new wife.

"Whaaaaaaa?? Really?! Your Kosuke's wife? I see. I heard about you at his bachelor party! It's very nice to meet you. I wish I could have when to the wedding. It would have been nice..." Skylar smiled. He wondered why Himeji didn't invite him..

"Hm...." Skylar stred as the woman looked him up and down.

"What?"

"For a boy, you sure look like a girl. Plus you smile like one too.."

A vein popped into his forehead as he said with a strained politeness, " Please don't say that Nina-San. My manly ego will be crushed more than it already is..."

"Ahaha, I see Kosuke was right about you. You are a very interesting boy."

"Huh? Kosuke-San said that about me?"

The woman nodded happily as she said, "Oh yes. He also told me that you are dating Himeji..."

"W-What?! Well, It's not like that...I-It's complicated to understand.." Skylar's face grew a light crimson as he shook his hands defensivly. It was so embarrassing...hearing that he was dating Himeji.

"Ahahaha, no need to feel embarrassed. When I first met Himeji a few months ago, he seemed very stressed...and distant. But lately he's different; He's changed for the better. I have an inkling that it is because of you. You see....I really care for Himeji as you can probably tell. I want to be someone who's there for him...like a mother. I know i can't replace his real mother, but I at least want to be there for him. Both Kosuke and I have already discussed it; You wouldn't believe how much he loves him. We want to be something like 'parents' to him...we just want to help and love him the best we can you know?"

Skylar couldn't believe he had forgotten. It was probably because Himeji didn't talk about it much..but he had forgotten...that Himeji's mom had passed away. Skylar couldn't even begin to imagine how living life without his mom beside him, would feel. Sure they had their little quarrels, but he still cared for her deeply. Himeji hadn't had a choice....

He also remembered that Himeji's father was supposably missing.Skylar wasn't one to judge others, but to leave your family like that...especially in a time of need? It did scream 'bad parenting'.

Himeji's life....seemed so miserable...And yet, he still found the strength to carry on everyday. It wasn't just Himeji he felt sorry for, but ALL the Kitomura sons.

"Your really kind...Nina-San..."

"Ahaha, you think so?" The woman smiled sheepishly.

"Mhn." Skylar nodded. "I think he would like that. It would be nice if HImeji and his brother's could be happier..."

"I see. Well can you do me a favor? It's something only you can do."

"Really? What?"

"Can you....stay by HImeji's side? I'm sure I speak for Kosuke also when I say that I would worry less if you were always with him." The woman smled warmly as she covered his hand with her own. Skylar was surprised; Nevertheless, he grinned happily back.

"You shouldn't have to ask. I thought it was a given that we would be together forever. Although don't tell him that..."

"It'll be our little secret." The woman said as the two shared a laugh together.

"Well, what can be so funny, I wonder."

Both Nina and Skylar turned towards himeji and Kosuke as they walked towards them, and smiled knowing smiles as they both chimes at the same time, "It's a secret."

"Women." Kosuke chuckled with mock bewilderment , making both Skylar and Nina pout.

"Woman? I hardly think that Skylar is a woman."

"My thought's exactly" Skylar added a little moodily after Nina's statement. He glanced at Himeji as he laughed lightly and returned to his side.

At that moment, the room turned towards a voice which said, "To the dining room, if you please."

"Oh god...this is going to be a train wreck.." Skylar muttered as he took Himeji's offered arm and made their way into the Dining room right behind Kosuke and Nina.

Walking into the dining room, Skylar (once again) couldn't help but notice the vast amount of room. Really, was this how all Rich people spent their money? Flaunting their wealth by using teir homes as a huge momument to their power?!

"Damn rich people.... " was all Skylar could mumble jealously.

Skylar was led over to two empty chairs right in the middle of the table. By looking at the ornately decorated card on the table, it seemed like these were their seats. He had reached out to pull the chair out when Himeji lowered his hand first, pulling the chair out for him.

"Gee, thanks Oh kind sir." Skylar said sarcasticly as he seated himself. It was times like these, when Himeji's gentlemanly side embarrassed him.

Skylar settled in his seat as Himeji sat down next to him. He wondered what would happen now? Seeing as they were seated at a dining table, that meant they would be eating now right?

One look at Himeji, told him to follow his lead which Skylar had no problems with doing whatsoever. He turned his head towards the head of the table, and waited for whatever would happen.

Skylar silently stared at the man at the head of the table who he assumed to be to the host of this little get-together.

"Ladies... Gentlemen! It is my pleasure to welcome you to my home. I have called you all here to celebrate our joint spike in GDP this year! The annual report just came in a couple of weeks ago, and as you all know, it looks like we have another prosperous year ahead of us!"

Okay...Skylar had no idea what the hell he had just said. Skylar glanced around the room as many others stared to laugh and smile happily. He scanned the room until his eyes fell on Nina, who smiled a knowing smile at him back. He also noticed that Himeji and his brother were grinning at each other. Did this mean...that something good happened? Skylar felt somewhat stupid; Everyone was laughing at something good, while he had no idea what was going on. He felt...left out.

He was glad when the host seated himself say,"That being said, let's eat!"

It seemed there was a flurry of movement as many others, readied themselves and began to prepare their plates with the assortment of food in front of them. What was he suppose to do now? Was it time to each? Was there a certain way he was suppose to get his food? Or could he pile his plate like he really wanted to do?

Right on cue, Himeji turned towards him, smiling brightly as his said, "Bon appetit!" while chuckling. Skylar watched Himeji cut himself a piece of meat and assumed that it was alright for him to eat too. Picking up his fork, Skylar piled his plate was hamburger steak, fatty tuna, shrimp, rice, stirfry and may other foods. He couldn't contain his hunger....he hadn't eaten that whole day, plus these were all foods which he would probably only get to taste once in a life time. How could he let this chance slip by so easily?!

Pulling his plate to him, he instantly dug his fork into the hamburger and chewed on it like a wild animal. It was so good, he could hardly contain the tears which threatened to fall from his eyes.

"This is sooooo good!" Skylar said happily as he continued to stuff his face. He could see that a few on-lookers were looking at him surprised. Uh-oh...maybe he needed to tone it down a bit?

Skylar picked the napkin up from his lap and dabbed it mouth curtly before taking a small bite of stirfry. He hated eating slow! But...he couldn't embarrass Himeji like that. Skylar sighed as he continued to eat slowly.

"I'm glad that you like it,"

Skylar turned towards Himeji and gave a small smile. He knew that Himeji wouldn't care how he ate. It was true that he belonged to this class of people...but he didn't act like it very much...at least not when he was around him. It was one of the many things Skylar liked about him.

"I wonder if I can take home seconds?" Skylar joked around, as Himeji chuckled and cut himeself more asparagus. Skylar waited for Himeji to say something else...but was cut off by Nina, who leaned closer towards him and said, "Did you enjoy your birthday?"

"Ah..Uh..." Skylar said hesitantly. He wasn't sure what to do...he had been talking to Himeji first afterall..

Luckily, Himeji understood and turned away from him to talk to the old man next to him.

"Eh..It was nice! It was way better than my other birthdays. I also got to meet my favorite Manga-Ka, Masashi Kishimoto! The voice actors from my favorite anime also came, plus there was alot of expensive food! I also got everything I could ever want!"

"Ahaha, I see. Seems like Himeji went through alot of trouble for you. What a nice guy."

"Yes...he is..." Skylar smiled warmly to no one in particular. It was true...for Himeji to go through all that work just for him...he must have liked him, even back then. It was on his birthday, that he finally realized his feelings for Himeji...

Ahhh...things would have been so much easier if I'd had confessed to him way back then! Skylar yelled irritated in his mind. If hadn't been for his stupidity, he could have confessed to him before all those issues with Ran went down. Wait...Ran? He had been having so much fun with Himeji...that he had forgotten about her...he would have to talk to her soon....

"Skylar? Are you alright?"

"Huh? Oh, yes I'm fine" Skylar smiled brightly, as he took another bite of hamburger. He looked around the table once Nina turned away to talk to Kosuke and noticed that most of the guests were already in deep conversation about things which he probably couldn't even begin to understand.

"Hello, miss. I've never seen you at any gatherings before.."

Skylar turned to the other side of him, and saw a man being seated. Skylar was somewhat stunned towards his appreance. The man was good-looking to say the least. Skylar had been under the impression that most buisness men were old guys (with the exception of the Komomura's); But this guy...he looked as if he could be a model [Man].

"Uh, y-yes. I'm Haruki Yukari....and I'm a guest of Himeji's...so that's probably why..."

"I see, I suppose that means that your his 'lover' correct?" The man smirked as he settled into his seat.

"Er...W-Well.." Skylar was somewhat shocked at the direct question. Who was the guy anyway and why did he even care? Skylar didn't want to be rude or anything...but the man was being way too forward for someone who he didn't even know...

"Ahaha, I'm sorry. I was only joking.." The man laughed innocently. Skylar laughed too, although it was somewhat fake. This guy didn't seem as if he were kidding around..

"Anyway, are you enjoying yourself?" The man asked pleasantly.

"Ah, uh yes! There are so many different types of food...I wasn't exactly sure what I should eat first ahaha...."

"Ahahaha, I see." The man smiled back as he set his elbow on the table and leaned onto it, looking deeply at him. There was something about this guy that made him mysterious...

"It seems that Himeji-kun is too busy with work, to entertain his beautiful date.." The man said aloud to the point where Skylar was sure that Himeji had heard him.

"Ahaha..ha....W-well...Uh....It isn't like..that.." Skylar said at a loss for words, while he looked back and forth between the two. The atmosphere....had suddenly turned cold all of a sudden....

My computer has had a virus for a while, and so the only time i've been able to get on has been at school or at my friends house >.>;;; A friend of mines has started a Guild and so the short times I have been able to get on, I've had to help him with it , while putting my stuff on hold crying . I'm sorry for not telling you!!! My computer is in the shop getting fixed so my RPing schedule may be kind of spread out (I'll at least try to post everyday at my neighbors house >_<). I'm done with helping my friend and so I should have a pretty free schedule on Gaia (Thank God ;__; lol).

Anywho, I've made a long post and introduced an 'evil' character to make it up to ya' T-T lol. Once again, Gomen crying *commits seppiku*
