Boarding School - Romance Intended

Kira looked over at him then back to the sky "the feeling of air so peaceful" she said putting her head down looking in the water to her reflection remembering her past about how her siblings treated her like a monster

Kai didn't even have to look at her to know her expression. "Such a sad face," he whispered. "I wonder what could've been so bad to have etched itself on your face so well."

Kira's eyes widened for a second then closed "you have no idea" she said turning away walking away from the water not wanting to see the brused up form of herself in the water

Kai was right in behind her. "Let me guess, your family right?" he asked softly.

Kira stopped she came right out and said it "shut up" she said cletching her fist together keeping her head down so her hair was in her face

Kai nodded. "It's none of my business anyway," he said softly.

The wind blew and her hair went the way her face was pointing she lifted up her hand "why cant I fly out of here?" she asked out loud a tear going down her face putting her hand down

Kai wiped the tear from her and started to walk ahead of her. His hands were in his pockets as he walked. "Only you can answer that question." he turned back and smiled at her. "We all have our own personal prisons, it's just a matter of finding the key."

Those words made it all the way to her heart opening a door of some one she cared all about before coming here she nodded and walked beside him "thanks for being here with me" she said looking at the ground blushing

Kai smirked and wrapped his arm around her protectively. "Hey, this place is a lot better than where I came from. So I don't mind," he told her.

Kira's face went red as he held on to her "same here" she said looking away

Kai realized that he might be making her uncomfortable and moved his arm away. He blushed and looked away. "Sorry," he said sheepishly.

"It okay I just get nervus to easily" she said still blushing as they walked her wings wanting to come out but she kept them in wincing in pain keeping them in

"It's okay. I shouldn't have...well anyways. Are you okay? You look sort of pale," he said after a moment.

"yeah Im peachy" she said giggling as they walked to the school she stopped as they got to the doors not wanting to go in she could fly to the roof again but that means a chance to let 'her' out
