narutobro Misty_Watersprite I don't play the game, but I do enjoy the mythology of this bleak universe, if even exceedingly exaggerated to the point of infeasibility at times. I've read the first three Space Wolf novels - is there really an omnibus of this coming out? - and have a hankering for anything with Marines in it. whee What I'm most wanting to read is Deus Sanguinius; the first was damn good, and I want to see what happens. The 4th Spacewolf book "Wolfblade" is much different than the other three, story wise I mean.
How so?

Sorry, I'm not parting with any more books*, not even for money. I gave away Angels of Darkness and I am sorely regretting this, as it has swift become a collectors item. Not to mention that it was a darned good book. crying
Mark of Chaos is a good novel, a wee bit predictable, but good. Tells a lot about the setting of the game, which takes place two hundred years before Archaon and his great assault. I'm talking about the Great War against Chaos and the era of Emperor Magnus the (not-so) Pious.
Dominion, the second novel in the Von Carstein trilogy is also going well enough, taking place one or two years after the first war. A new Von Carstein is rising, but he is proving to be quite something else from Vlad.
* Exception to this rule are the following: Blood Bowl, Dawn of War, Dawn of War Ascension and Warrior Brood. Yech!

Well it takes place on Terra, which is really cool., but the main thing is that except for Ragnar (of course) all the other characters are new. That's right, no Sven!! Its sucks, but the book's still pretty good.
