Lan teared up a bit as Kane yelled at him. "I....Im sorry....I just want to protect you...." he said, knowing his words would mean nothing. He dropped the guitar and hung his head, letting his hand fall from Kane's.

Kane put his hand behind Lan's head and pulled him in for a kiss. "Now, don't sulk like that. I'm not mad at you as long as you say you're sorry, and you did."
"If you two could stop making out for just a minute, maybe we could try to get to the bottom of our possible suspects?" It was not that Kasa did not approve of their love (on the contrary,she thought Lan was the best thing that Kane could have ever found) but she felt that there were more important things at hand.

As much as Lan wanted to continue the lovey dovey session with Kane, he knew Kasa was right. He gently pulled out of the kiss and held Kane's hand. "Ok. So is there someone in particular who has a grudge against you Kane?"

Zayroen "should we go with them?" he asked, hiding his worried tone ((Sorry for the late xD)) Lucca held the demon's hand tight "You're worried to aren't you?" He asked looking up at Ryzil "Let's go follow them, I think I know where they are..." He said as he spread his wings and took flight towards Kasa's place taking Ryzil in his hands

Sighing, Kane said, "Well, there are a few. Do you want names or no?" Kane was reluctant to enter this discussion, but knew that he had to help if they were going to stop these recent goings on. However, he was still only willing to be as specific as he had to be. These were not plesant memories he was dealing with.

Lan held Kane close in his arms. He briefly nuzzled his shoulder. "We need to know names. Then we can know who we might be dealing with" Lan said, keeping his arms around Kane. "It's not because you and I are.........I mean I know of a few religious people who would try to kill us for it" he said continueing to nuzzle Kane's shoulder.

Kane kissed Lan on the cheek. "If it has anything to do with you, its because you're with, me." Sighing, he continued, "As far as names go, the ones I think might be able to pull off something like this would be Canno, who's got enough money to hire an army for his personal goals; Lyle, who is maniac enough to try something like this; or Master." Then, blushing with a disgruntled look, he explained, "Err...this one guy never told me his name and never kept me, but he did pay really well. He made me call him 'Master,' but I don't have any idea who he really is."

Lan listened intently to what Kane said. Thoughts and possibilities rushed through his head. He blushed and asked "W....were they all ex clients?" When he said this, Lan felt mean so he kissed Kane again and hugged him tightly.

"Yup." Kane had no second thought about the matter. It was what it was, so now that it was out there was no embarassment. "Lyle knew me longest, but Canno had me in his house longer." Then, with a thought to the third, "and Master gave me the most in cash. It was strange because he never really talked or tok his time. He always went straight for what he wanted and then took it." Kane said this with no hint of abashment or awkwardness.

Lan slide his arms under Kane's and interlocked his fingers on top of Kane's stomach. Shivering a little from Kane's touch, Lan said "But why would they want to kill you?" Lan flicked his tail onto Kane's chest for him to play with.

Twirling Lan's tail between his fingers, Kane said, "Well, they could be sore about me leaving, they could want revenge or want me back, or in Lyle's case he may have just snapped." Kane loved how soft Lan's tail was. "Truth is, any one of them had the means and motive to initiate this." Kane knew what kind of danger he was in, and even though he knew he was putting Lan in danger he was glad to be with him. Lan's warm embrace always soothed him.

Lan purred as Kane played with his tail. "So what do we do?" he asked as he slid his tail up and began rubbing it along Kane's neck, chest, and cheek.

Thinking for a second, Kane said, "I don't know. Kasa do you have any gum?"
Getting up, the old woman went to the stack of boxes and pulled out a jar. From the jar, she took a few packs of gum. Getting back to her seat, Kasa tossed them to Kane. "There. Now start thinking."
Popping a piece into his mouth, Kane said, "Well, we could track them down one at a time. The only risk there would be falling into a trap or them getting in too close a proximity to me." Kane chewed as he thought and looked up at Lan with an innocent stare. "Got any better ideas?"

Lan looked down at Kane and laid his tail over his stomach. "I think that we could take them out. You, me, Lucca, and Ryzil could take them if we worked together" he said as he caressed Kane's hips. "If you and I are ever to have peace. I.....I want to share my life with you" he said blushing.

With a blush and a soft smile, Kane said, "Yes, I would like that too." Closing his eyes, he said, "Then we'll do it. And we'll have the other two for back-up. Kasa," he started," would there be any chance of getting Spike in on it?"
With a sour laugh, Kasa said, "Didn't you just hear him? He's got no mind to start with this. He's too much of a coward, anyway. Always looking after only himself. He would just slow you down anyway."
"Then we can make do with what we have." Looking back up at lan, he asked, "Shall we meet up with the other two? I think they're probably still back at the opera. They seemed pretty busy," he added with a giggle.
