Philip swung a little too early as he had ended up barely missing the bludger and, inevitably, got hit himself. That was going to hurt in the morning. Taking a moment to himself to recuperate from the blow, he watched the game continue. At least Ilene managed to his the Gryffindor seeker.

The beater watched intently as the seekers battled it out for the snitch, and luckily, Chels missed enough times to lose sight of the golden sphere. However, the whole time he was paying attention to the seekers, it appeared as though the Gryffindor chasers made it to Hufflepuff's goalposts. But, Jass ended up missing.

Focusing his attention on the chasers now, Philip aimed at who he thought his team's current biggest threat was: Christopher. He felt a little bad considering he already managed to hit him earlier in the game, but the kid was still going strong.
