He gave a small shiver as he felt her hand grab his hair. He kissed her back and blushed once more. He wanted more than this. What exactly he wasn't sure, but it could only get better if they kept going right?

She was letting go of her mind, letting the feelings of this lead her. Thats when she felt something trying to tear into her, something dark. She slowed down a little trying to get a handle on things. Darkness was moving into her mind, shadowing everything bit by bit.

Noticing her slow down he kept going for a minute before breaking the kiss and breathing heavily. He didn't think much of her slowing down, figuring she just needed to get a breath as well.

She dropped her hand to his shoulder and the other one went to her head. She closed her eyes tight trying to push back the shadow. She didn't understand what was happening, only that it wasn't good.

Watching as she held her head he put his hand over the one she had on his shoulder. "Bernadette... you okay?"

She whimpered a moment, her fingers digging into his shoulder and her head. She could feel the shadow building up as she tried to push back.

Hearing the whimper he could tell something was wrong. He winced slightly as her fingers dug into his shoulder but he ignored it. He gripped her hand tighter, trying to comfort her as he didn't know what else to do.

She started to mumble a protection spell. Repeating it's three lines over and over. It was slowly working and she started to loosen her grip on his shoulder. She was beginning to shiver as well, her skin turning cool with the use of power.

Feeling her grow a bit colder he wrapped his arms around her, trying to keep her warmed up. He wasn't sure what she was doing and was getting a bit worried. "Bernadette?"

After a few minutes she collapsed into him, breathing heavily and trying to curl up as she shivered. She was scare, unsure of what even just happened.

Alex quickly caught her as she fell towards him. "Hey, you alright? What the hell happened?"

"I..... I don't... know." She pressed her face into his chest.  

[NightWerewolf]

"All I know is you were mumbling something and that you're freezing... hold on a second." He let her go slowly and ran down the hall, coming back with a comforter. He hopped up on the counter next to her and put the comforter over her shoulders.

"Something came in." She shook her head trying to make sense of it. "It was a protection spell." She hugged the comforter around her and curled into him. She put a hand over her mouth as she spoke.

Alex blinked as he heard her say spell. "So you can do magic and stuff then?" He was scared of her or anything, just curious really.
