My friend bought a heap of their songs to school on her phone and recommended them... so I have to say it was her. Even though I actually ignored them until she sent them all to me and made me put them on my I-Pod... that's the half of the story I usually leave out. lol.

I heard about MCR through two of my friends who mentioned them one day and then I was watching a video-award show and they were there for Helena... that's when I feel in love with the band and their music heart

i was watch mtv n this cartoon type music vid came on n i heard im not okay n i was like OMG i love it! and also GERARD WAY IS THE CUTEST THING heart !

at first i thought it was a website thing!! so i asked my friend for the site and she told be it was a band. i was just kind of like oh... so i guess i heard about them from my friends!

I'm a local from belleville the same town most of the guys are from I was with Alex from eyeball(also a friend of mine) at a party one day and he said some of his friends and a band that he just signed on was going to play so I just shrugged it off until I heard them do skylines and turnstiles and then I just got all hyped up once I heard demolition lovers....been in love with their music since

I heard "I'm Not Ok" on the radio. Then saw the video. Then fell in love.

I was channel flicking oneday and i changed over to a channell and it was the first showing of I'm Not Okay and I fell in love with it. I then looked them up and then bought bullets and the love has grown ever since!

Well ,I was talking to one of my friends once (on the phone), and i'm like "What is that ? in the background?" She said " huh? oh its mychemical romance" I was like " Oh okay." I thought it was a song or something... SO anyway, she went ALL crazy and we are not friends anymore.. I found out My Chemical romance and a band and I hated them.. >_< one of my friends had a shirt for them, I was like " BLA!! you like MY Chemical Rmance?! EWW!" Hes all Yeah they rock, SO I was falling asleep one night and I was listing to the radio and hurd Welcome to the black parade.. I was like "Ooh, this is good! who is it?!" So I called them and asked who it was they said " My chemical romance" I was like " OH THEY ROCK!" and I started to like them, and now I have almost all there songs.. thats my story. lol

lol it all started on the morning of my 8th grade prom and I was at homw waititng for my mom to give me a ride to school so I go to the living room and turn the tv to MTV2...I think...to watch music videos and suddenly they play MCR's I'm not ok (I promise) and I comepletly fell in love with it and loved it ever since

well i had seen their shirts and stuff and Helena on the radio, but i never put 2 and 2 together until my bf was over and brought this CD by the band and i was like "... who's that?" so he popped it in my CD player and i was like... "O...M...G!!! I KNOW THESE GUYS!!!" so eventually i asked him out and now Helena is our song heart

In 2005 when I watched the VMA's, along with Green Day(who I was rooting for at the awards) I saw that their video for Helena was nominated too. So I had that song floating about in my head for a bit, and with the advent of YouTube and Wikepedia I researched them mid-2006, and fell in love with their music, style, their image. Then I heard of The Black Parade and bought it almost immediately, along with Three Cheers. And...here I am now! A full-blown MCR fan!
