I like jaffa cakes to but they're an eternal source of disapointment, whereas hobnobs are always better than you thought they'd be. And you can't dip jaffas.

Jaffacakes are alot more fun if you make yourself a mission to dissect the orangey bit from the rest of the cake. Getting a perfectly clear, round orange jelly brings an immense satifaction.

Boasters people, Boasters.

But have you ever managed to remove the chocolate completely from a chocolate digestive.
(I haven't but I keep on trying)

It's easier if you leave them in the sun for a bit first.

Does a true Englishman have sugar in his tea?

I never have sugar in my tea and I really do wonder what other people have...

I change every day.

Sometimes I have it like tar, with neither milk nor sugar.

Sometimes I have it weak, and add milk and sugar.

Sometimes I freeze it into little tea ice-cubes.

The true cuppa needs to be in a big mug, preferably tannin-stained. It has to be very strong, but with loads of milk and no sugar.

Tea without a sweetner or sugar is just too bitter for me...I don't like it too sweet, nor milky but just a little sweetness is nice.

I've changed my mind from my post near the start of this thread. Earl Grey is certainly not my favourite tea.

Assam, in fact, is foremost.

In other news, I'm founding a new society here at Lampeter.

"The Tea Society (Just innocently having a drink.)"

That sounds like a great idea. We have a toast society, I've no idea what they do, but they had a very nice display at freshers.

I think I'm allergic to the actual tea, so I can only drink herb tea. I have a lovely herb tea with creeping thyme (commonly misunderstood as creepy time), that's definately my favourite. With herb tea I don't ever need anything added to it. 3nodding

mmm... TEA - I like it with chocolate digestives smile
I can have it without milk/sugar - but not at the same time.
yes it was invented by the chinese - by an accident! - some tea leaves fell into boiling water and voila = the first tea!
