Sometimes things that you lose can never be gotten back, and that includes memories. But with memories, even if you can't get back the old ones, you can always make new ones. If you try so hard to get back the old ones, that's all you're ever going to focus on and that's all you'll imprint of yourself if the old memories never come back.
