Lan looked at Kane's finger again. The cut had turned a light shade of green. "Poison" he whispered as he held Kane down by his hands. Moving up, he looked sadly at Kane's face. "This will hurt but it'll kill the poison" he said as he opened his mouth and Kane could see that Lan's canines were growing into fangs. Lan moved forward and bit into Kane's neck. He kept his fangsinside Kane's neck. Focusing, Lan forced some of his blood into Kane's neck. Lan's blood was used as antitoxin for the poison in neko claws.

Lan cried only a little as he looked at Kane. Blood was around his mouth and on his fangs. After he stopped crying he said to Kane "Are you okay?" After Kane assured him that he was okay, Lan turned his gaze to his neck. He brought his hand forward and gently rubbed the two holes. "That was a knarely hickey" Lan said as he giggled a little. "Just rest for now"

Lan nodded and gently slid his arms under Kane. He blushed a little as Kane put his arms around Lan's neck. "We'll be right back you two" he said to Lucca and Ryzil. Lan seemed like he had forgotten something when he realized what and placed Kane down on the bed. "One sec" he said as he ran to the back of the rooms. When Lan came back, he had an electric guitar on his back. He picked up Kane again and explained on the way to Kasa's. "My powers let me manipulate pitch. I can do things with a guitar I cannot with my voice" he finished as they walked into Kasa's.

Lan laid Kane down on the mat and sat down with him. He laid Kane's head down into his lap and stroked his hair. Lan told the story from the death of the demon to Kane's finger p***k. "What do you make of it?"

Kasa sighed. "Yep. This is just about what I told you would happen. You never listened to me, though did you?"

Then, as she finished, a Man with a doberman's head ran in. "Kasa?" He trotted up to her and sniffed the air. "Eh. What's all this?" Sniffing again, he looked at Lan. "Who's this? Why is there a cat here? And why call me?" Despite his protests, his tail was wagging.

"Calm down. I just need any news you might have. Well?" she said with some inpatience.

"Oh yeah, sure," he said turning to Kasa. "There's been some weirdos running around. Sniffing around, looking for something." Looking down, finally noticing Kane, theman asked, "And what's this? The scraps?" Then, with a flick of his tail, "Oh, I see this must be it. They said they were looking for a bird with clipped wings, and this might be it, yep. And I don't want to be around when any of this goes down." And with that, he hustled himself right out.

"What a disgraceful mut," Kasa spat at him.

"Don't worry," Kane said to Lan, "I'd like to punch him out, myself."

"So would I," Kasa said flatly. "As for what he said, he ment that some non-humans were searching hard for something that was supposed to have wings, but didn't." Shrugging, she added, "I don't know what exactly he ment by 'weirdos' but they must have been more than just non-human. Chances are they're scary."

"Eh..." Kasa contemplated whether or not it would be okay to tell Lan about it. "Well..." she thought for a second. "Why would you think I would know?" After what she had let slip last time, she did not trust herself with this information.

Kane grabbed Lan's hand. "If I had to guess it would be someone I'd left." Looking at the floor, he said, "Some of them harbor resent."

"Lan!" Kane yelled at him in surprise, and angry look on his face. "What are you saying?"

"You brute! I am a helpless old woman!" She was fuming. "Besides, you wanna tell me who else gave your little boyfriend a friendly hand when he was in need? Huh!?" She crossed her arms. "And besides, did you not just hear Kane? He told you, it's probably one of his ex-clients."
