Personality: Wish is very cynical and bitter. She feels like everyone she meets wants her to grant a wish for them. (Not like she can.) She can be very rude and snotty to those who she meets.

~Her Story~

Born to a herd of seathi and mers as a wish priestess. She was told from birth this would be her destiny when she came of age. Wish Star misunderstood what her role would be. How could she grant wishes?! She had no magic or power. Right in the middle of her coming of age ceremony, she swam away from home. (Missing all her training to learn her role.) She has not looked back since! She still feels like those expectations from her herd have followed her, and will snap at anyone out of mistrust of their intentions. She can be cynical and rude. She has met my angeni, Hermes, who could see past her defenses. He's trying to help her find herself.

Future story, subjective to plots with another: He becomes her only friend, aside from a Seathi that she has as a friend. (She can be rude to him/her, but for some reason, they tolerate her.) She is blind to the best friend she already has. Warming up to Hermes, and breaking out of her shell, she falls in love with him. Being that he's the angeni of searches, she asks him to find her love. Expecting him to tell her she already found it in him. he tells her "Your wish already came true a long time ago." and points to her seathi friend. She realizes in fact, that she never really looked at her sea-friend. She takes in everything he's done for her, no matter how cruel she was. She feels overwhelmed, and tells both her friends, she needs time to reflect. In her solitude and time for self reflection, her birth right makes sense. Hermes didn't grant a wish, but merely told her what she needed to know. But it was truly what she wished for, even if not what she had in mind. It was her hearts true wish. Wish cries unseen tears into the sea. If only she had listened better to her family and herd, instead of letting her fear get to her.

She makes a decision to not return to her herd, feeling that she has a new purpose. She returns to her seathi friend, begging for forgiveness of being so blind to his care for her. Asks for a chance to be more than friends.

Hermes is still someone she deeply cares about. He helped her learn what granting real wishes meant.

Wish Star tries to grow, and become a better seathi. She pushes herself out of her comfort zone, to help strangers "grant a wish". Unless they treat her like a wishing star genie, and then she might snap back to her old mannerisms. She'll apologize after, and explain how she can grants wishes, by helping to guide what the heart needs.

((Hermes had already found information about her herd, and learned about the wish priestesses. This is why he told her that her "wish" had already came true, instead of saying she had already found love. He had hoped this would help her realize how wishes were granted in her culture. And it works!))
