Twinkleshine smiled lightly, turning to look behind her and at Atlantis. Finally! Finally... She would not have to be alone for a night. How long had it been since she had someone to sleep beside her? It was past what she could remember. "That'd be..." she started, before an egg, unbeknownst to her, was coming straight towards her with a remarkable speed. Having not the reaction time, or having even noticed such a thing, it slammed into her side, knocking her down with it.
Groaning, she sat up, rubbing her sore body before reaching for it. She lifted it, showing it to him. "What... is this?"

FA Goddess Eris The eggs twirled and tumbled, proving to have incredibly hard outer shells as a few seemed to nick the pillars and a few Pae's heads. One egg stopped amidst the chaos, wiggled a little bit, then launched itself full-speed right towards Leilani.
Yipes sqauwked loudly, almost reaching the eggs and Venus when they decided to just explode and wander all over the place. He had just turned around to chase one, when one knicked him on the back of the head. Staggering a bit, he mumbled something about purple leg warmers and dropped to the ground, feathers and all.
Leilani heard all the commotion and was beginning to feel curious. Turning toward the ruckus, she blinked as she realized something was heading her way. Something small, and green. And growing larger by the second. Was that an egg.....?
Oh my. Yes. It was an egg and it was on a headfirst collision with her head. Looking about, the only thing she figured she could do, was either catch it or let the poor thing die.Adjusting the golden apple from her stomach to her back, she opened her arms and let the little egg crash into them.
And promptly landed on her hiney a few feet away.

Despite his warning, an examination of the rest of the garden hadn't revealed any other way out. And something was definitely going on up in that tree house...feeling beckoned forwards, the angel finally decided that there was little else to do but check it out.
He really didn't want to head up there without some sort of weapon to protect himself...and Lillison...but his attempts to grab one of the animated garden tools resulted in failure, as the things danced away from him and bounced away to hide. Seriously? This was the craziest thing he'd seen all night, and it'd been a strange night already.
Sighing, resigned, he started climbing up towards the tree house, no idea what to expect considering what was outside. Well, not that. That was for sure. The spear point was jabbed into his face, and wide-eyed, he instinctively backed away, holding an arm out to keep Lillison behind him. "Woah! Watch it, kid!" he snapped, frowning. Err...were those kids? Strange little...wingless...long-tailed Pae children? Something didn't seem right here. That's when he looked beyond the spear-wielding, masked creatures to the prone Goddess.
He felt like his heart froze in his chest for a split-second, then started hammering twice as fast. What...had they stumbled upon? That poor, poor woman. She must be terrified; obviously they had to save her. Holding his ground, he turned an angry glare on the short 'guards', practically growling, "You let her go, right now. I don't know what your game is, but it's over. Now."

Was Eros effected by being shown the picture? It was hard to say. He wasn't really .. reacting to it, a small shrug after a moment of being shown the picture by Tariq. Apparently, that wasn't really the right answer.
"She'll be here soon enough."
There was a pause, where he pulled another arrow out of where they were stored, biting the arrowhead between his teeth as he yanked the bow back. The arrow was pulled out of his mouth and perfectly lined up, very ready to take another shot at them. For some reason, he wasn't letting go of it right off, observing them harshly with blues that were much more icy than a god of love's should ever be.
"I just need to get rid of you guys, first."
Clearly their attempt had failed, as Eros let another arrow fly at the newly in love couple. With all of their posturing, he specifically attempted to aim it so their hands would be stuck together, a small snort underneath his breath as he saw the arrow fly through the air.
"Can't you just ... get to it already? I can tell you're in love."
Eros was gesturing away from him, of course, when he was suggesting that, perhaps, Tariq and Louise just ... give up before they started.

The first thing she noticed was that her body wasn't feeling like it did when she used her power; it felt the same weight as before. The second thing she noticed was that her opponent's battle ax was something she wanted to avoid at all cost considering how it was cutting through the hedge like a hot knife through butter. The plus side was that with the weapon that size, he'd only be able to swing it in a set amount of ways. That made it useful for predicting swings at least. so she could dodge them.
Her legs tensed as she charged herself, and then launched herself into the air.
Her jump was far shorter than she had planned, and it confirmed her suspicions that her density shifting powers were blocked some how. Lucky for her, she had a normally high leap distance, and the air that she did manage to get was enough for her to reach out and with the aid of her opponent's horns, flip herself safely and successfully over him and back to the ground.
Pupils dilated, breathing fast, heart pounding and blood pressure high, adrenalin coursing through, and every sense perked high as Amadorine's fight-or-flight response kicked in. Her brain worked a mile a minute as she grabbed the closest thing she could use for a weapon, a mirror. She was surprised that the object had a substantial amount of weight, and guessed that it was probably made of some sort of heavy metal. She had also noticed that Thom had gotten himself close to the blanket.
"Thom, I need you to tear that in half; use one half of it to make strips to tie together as rope." There was plenty of use for the decent amount of fabric the blanket provided, and Amadorine was pretty sure that it was going to be what solved this entire puzzle.
Armed with the mirror, she headed back towards the Minotaur, deciding her best way to win would be to evade until there was an opening.

Stumbling, putting out a hand to catch herself on the wall of the hedge maze, Euphrosyne's other hand went to her head, aiming for her temple, then moving to rest upon the tiara. What...what had...?
As she managed to pull herself upright, steady...or at least mostly so...on her feet, she turned and caught sight of the couple. Even if it wasn't used for its usual purpose, she recognized the after-effects of her gift immediately, even tainted as such. "Oh, I am so, so sorry," she apologized breathlessly, hand over her heart. Realizing that she'd awoken during what should have been a private, personal moment, she blushed, embarrassed as well as ashamed of what she'd apparently done while enthralled.
"Please...let me fix this. Then, I can take us out of this cursed place." Her voice was soft, regretful, but reassuring that while things seemed bad now, they were soon to get better. She began dancing, slowly at first, then picking up speed; her movements light and airy, her sash swirling with her as she spun and stepped around the couple, lifting their spirits as she lifted her hands into the air. With a final flourish, she whirled and stopped in front of them, laying a gentle hand on either male's cheek, smiling warmly. "That should do it," she murmured, the depression and sorrow previously weighing them down seemed to vanish into the air, leaving them free of the effects completely.
With that, before waiting for anything else, as she knew they likely needed the chance to have some time to themselves, but perhaps somewhere safer, she transported them all back to Venus' ballroom. Well, relatively safer, given the eggs flying through the air...
Thaddeus and Namaqua have been rescued from the labyrinth by freeing Euphrosyne from enthrallment!
