Ireland is a country. It is the third largest island in Europe. My heritage is from both Ireland and Scotland.

I kind of always thought St. Patrick's day was just an excuse to drink.... or at least that's what people around here usually use it for. With a wedding going on, might have some people doing twice the binging.
