Spring might be nice, but it will all depend on how efficient the wedding planner is and how long it takes for arrangements to be made. A wedding can be a very elaborate affair. It's dependent upon the concepts and ideas that are approved.

*Takes another drink* Of course. Six months might not be enough time to plan such an elaborate affair. Hey Ryzan, mind if I ask what kind of ceremony you and TES had? I mean, did you have a lot of guests or was it a private ceremony?

Well, I must be getting to bed. *She gets up and kisses Officer Dougherty briefly.* Have fun, my darling. I'll see you downstairs when you are finished with your nightcap. wink heart *She winks at him, goes to her office and calls out as she waves to everyone.* Goodnight, Boys. *She does the security measures, walks down the corridor and into her chambers. She heads straight for the bedroom, peels off her clothes and slips into bed.*

It would be difficult to plan the wedding without knowing what season to plan for I would think....
*brow furrows and he hangs his head at the mention of his and Tes' wedding* .... we... we did not have a ceremony...
*downs the rest of his brandy and pushes the glass toward Tes* Would you be so kind as to pour me another glass, please?
*gives a slight wave to Psyzapp when she exits, not really looking up* Ssinjin deis, jabbress.

Alright love. I'll try not to be too long. *He turns to watch her disappear into the office, then turns back to listen to Ryzan. He finishes up his drink, then slides his glass over to TES.* I'll take a short refill too.
*Feeling a bit uncomfortable, he speaks up.* Well, you don't really have to have a big ceremony to get married. I've known people to get married by a Justice of the Peace, or a Marriage Commissioner, or even the Captain of a ship. All that's really needed is a witness.
Edited.

*refills both Ryzan's snifter and Dougherty's glass, pushing them back to their respective patrons once he's finished* We only got married so that I wouldn't be executed. The whole thing started out as a lie. In a way, it was actually sort of thrust upon us as a punishment. I never proposed or anything....
*sits back down on his stool heavily* I had no intention of ever seriously considering Ryzan as my husband at the time.

*flinches slightly at Tes' explanation* X.... Xas. We had only attended a court proceeding in which we signed documents and were declared married. Th... There was nothing special to it...
*looks down at his hand, playing with his wedding ring* ... the only reason we even have rings at all was to keep up the facade. If it was discovered that I had lied to the council about Quortek's affair... we both would have been faced with dire consequences.

Oh, I see. *Ponders at this information as he takes a sip.*
But it appears that you do now. Perhaps that day was meant to be for the two of you to be together and you just didn't realize it at the time.

That's one way to look at it. Truth be told, I kind of thought it was karma coming back to bite me in the a** for having... "chased off" Ryzan's last fiancé... *clears his throat*
In any case, we're together now... *glances over at Ryzan* ... though I do think he deserved better...

It is not for you to decide what is truly better, Quortek. *takes a drink of his brandy, a little larger than a normal drink he would take*

*swirls his drink around in the glass a bit* That's right, Ryzan. What one feels in their heart is what counts. I love Trina with all my heart. I would do anything for her. TES, it appears that you are now doing that for Ryzan, so perhaps there is something more there than you realize. *takes a healthy drink.*

There's more to love than just enduring some hardships here and there for the other person's sake or pulling some strings and bending over backwards... and whatever other appropriate cliché you want to insert here. Sometimes you also need to know and accept that there are things that you really can't do for someone, no matter how hard you try. For a long time, I figured returning Ryzan's feelings was just something I couldn't do. In which case, the more loving plan of action would be to enable him to move on.
*sits up a bit and crosses his arms, smirking at Ryzan* b*****d is stubborn as a mule, though. I think he might have gotten it from me. rolleyes

*lifts his wrist to his chin and giggles* Perhaps you are the one who got it from me, my dear Quortek wink
*takes a sip of brandy, then sets the glass down* While it is true there may be instances in which something arises that you cannot do for the one you love, sometimes it is really not so important to do something so specific. As long as you can show them somehow just how strongly you desire their happiness.... that is all that matters.
