Um, hey, question! Is Ryuunousuke still free? I was thinking perhaps he and Rei could meet each other somewhere, maybe at the park? Just thought I'd ask is all. Sorry if I'm bugging you.

Ryu is free, yes. If you wish to interact with him, that's fine. smile To forewarn you though, my replies are slow and sometimes far between because I work and I am a mommy, so I get pretty busy. So if you do not mind being patient, I am game for Ryu to meet Rei. How does that sound? ^-^

You are welcome to start wherever you want to place Rei and I will add Ryu later. You do not have to quote me the first time around since they haven't met yet, but we will get things moving. ^^ My reply won't be until late tonight, if I can, because I have to get ready for work. :3 Looking forward to the interaction.

Sadly, I have not been able to get Discord yet, but I am looking into it and might have it sometime soon! 3nodding

To get introductions out of the way, I'm SapphireUmbra, but a majority of people call me Umbra for short..I don't mind either way.

Also, does anyone have ideas for the type of character I should play?
I have a bit of creators block right now, so any/all advice is appriciated. sweatdrop

We do have a vast variety of characters available. I suggest you look at the 'Current Curses' section so that you won't have to end up copying the similar curse without realizing too late.

Only advice I can give is write a bunch of ideas down or do backstory first. Highly recommend second option though, its how I came up with my curse.

Alright, here is my idea for a curse:

My Character is a magic-user whose power is to manipulate light.
A main ability for light-users is healing, yes?

For example, say a friend of theirs ends up getting injured.
If they were to heal them,
that friend would feel the exact same pain they felt from getting hurt, but in reverse.
It would basically be like re-living the pain depending on the injury.

On top of this,
the closer my character is to the person being healed-
The greater the pain. So loved ones would have it worst.

I'm still dabbling,
so if this sounds kinda "meh" or not curse enough-
I can definitely re-work some things.

Sounds good, though as Ghost said, perhaps make your character feel the pain as well. Possibly in exchange for the injured person reliving the pain, though that second part is secondary to having your character suffer the nerves act up. If you want to go really serious, you could have your character take on the injury itself, not just the pain. But that's all just suggestion and thought.

Sorry to intrude, as someone who judged profiles back in the day, I have a suggestion. Just make sure you can't supervent the pain of healing by using drugs, ie. Loratabs and Morphine.

Just define the percentage of how your character will suffer the pain of one being healed by them. If it's a loved one, 65-70% of the pain will be transferred to the character. Just a thought.
