"Okay, lets go check it out." She said as she followed him around a corner. To her surprise, there actually was a small bakery there. All the sweet scents began flooding her nose. Lyle loved bakeries because of their sweetness. She smiled as they came closer.

Skye smiled at her little shock of surprise. "Like a steel trap for the important things." He said as he tapped his right temple with his index finger. He loved the smell of baked goods, it reminded him of his mother. She was one of the best bakers. He didn't think there was anything she couldn't make, and it always smelled good. He missed her home cooking.

Lyle kissed Skye on the cheek and smiled. "You are simply amazing." She said softly before heading towards the door. She still didn't know which one to buy, they all smelled so yummy.

"I try." Skye smiled and followed her in. "So you still confused?" He had to admit that they all did look good. Which didn't help the sick feeling in his stomach.

She nodded with wide eyes as soon as they walked in. Everything smelled and looked even more delicious when they were inside. "Most definitely." Lyle said softly as she looked around. Her mouth was starting to water from all the sweetness.

"I say pick your favorite then." Skye smiled as he looked down at her. Her eyes a little dreaming over the delicious food. He was glad someone was appreciating the food in the place.

"I...don't...have a....favorite either." She said softly, still gazing at all the yummy pies and cakes that surrounded her. Lyle had a major sweet tooth, and if it wasn't proven by their candy store adventure, then it surely showed now.

"Well.... How about the cheese cake then? Everyone likes cheese cake." Skye just wanted to get out of there, even with how delicious it was in there. He wanted to keep moving.

"Sure." Lyle said slowly with a slight nod of her head. She was almost entranced with everything, but she knew that they needed to keep moving. If she could, she'd be wagging her tail right now and drooling over everything. "Yeah, cheese cake would be great." She added as she snapped out of the sugar induced trance and flashed Skye a toothy grin.

"Would you like me to buy?" Skye asked, he wanted to get the ball rolling. And it wouldn't hurt to get the evening moving, he wanted to get in and go at her aunts house. He tried pushing that thought from his head, it was only making his stomach feel worse.

"No, it's okay, I'll buy this time." She mumbles softly as she quickly made her way over to the counter where a middle aged woman stood, waiting for them to decide. "Could you by any chance place the cheese cake in a decorate box with a bow?" Lyle asked shyly.

The woman nodded and grabbs a few decorative boxes. "Blue, pink, or yellow?" she asked, setting the options on the counter as she grabbed a freshly made cheese cake out of the refrigerator from behind her.

"Yellow please." Lyle replied with a smile. She knew her aunt loved the color yellow. She would never understand why though.

The woman nodded again and carefully placed the cheese cake into the yellow box. She then closed it and grabbed a glittery white bow from under the counter and securely placed it on the top right corner of the box. "Ten fifty please." She said softly as she pressed a few buttons on the cash register.

Lyle pulled out her wallet and slid the credit card out from it's place. She then handed it to the lady with a smile. The women slid the card and pressed a few more buttons before handing the car back. "Thank you." Lyle said as she grabbed the box and started to head out.

"Cute box." Skye said, he didn't get the yellow but he liked it better then pink or blue. Now that that was done he had the walk over to her place to think about. He first headed for the door and held it for Lyle. He had to also decided when he was going to hand over his knife. He thought of right now but he didn't much care for that, but if he waited too long then he probably wouldn't want to let it go at all. Choices choices, he hated this one with a passion.

Lyle smiled and nodded in appreciation as Skye held the door open for her. "I'm not sure why, but my aunt loves the color yellow. I figured this would give us some brownie points." She said softly as she stepped out of the bakery and onto the side walk.

"Heres hoping." Skye really was, they were going to need the brownie points after tonight.

She held her breath as she nodded. She was really hoping that all will go well, but just in case something did happen, she would ready herself for anything. She finally let go of her breath as they continued walking, making their way back to her aunt's place.
