he frowned "you know that won't work with me" he looked at her and sighed "okay" he pulled out the carton of cigarettes and handed it over to her "why do you have to be so ******** cute" he pulled out of the parking spot and started to drive to prom

she smiled and took one, lighting it up happily "ask my mommy and daddy... I'm sure it's the same as what we did a little wile ago..." she took a deep drag and instantly started to feel better "ahh.... that's better"

"I never had to use that stupid look in my life and I turned out fine" he stopped at a red light "where do we have to go anyway?" he looked at her taking a Cigarette out from the box and lighting it

she took another smaller drag "it's at the commons... the one that they usually use for all the military things..."

"you mean that Military ball thing" he turned a right to the commons, the dim street lights reflecting off the red coat of paint and wax.

"yeah" she smiled softly "that place" she took another drag on the cig

he turned on the old style radio and let the music fill the car "I hope you win" he murmured out with one hand out of the car an the other on the leather steering wheel

she finished the cig "I hope I win too..." she sighed softly as she tossed it out the window

the music flowed out of the car as the pulled up to the Common "well here we are" turned off the ignition and got out "lets just hope it wasn't a waste of money"

she got out as well and walked around to the front of the car "I doubt it will be" she smiled softly

he put the keys into his pocket and climbed up a small set of stairs "either way a lot of people will bring their wallets"

the man at the door ask for tickets as the music from inside blasted past him Charle handed the two tickets over and he went through the door
