Here's how I think of it. If somebody's pouring over your AMV and dissecting it for flaws outside of a contest. Then they obviously have way too much free time.

Old ones, I dunno. I didn't bother reading the tittle 'cause I hardly ever read them anymore. I want to use the money to buy a gift.

The only manga volumes that I didn't like after buying, because I usually research stuff before I make a purchase, are Gravitation and X/1999.
However Gravitation could come in handy one day if I run out of bad sonic fanfiction as a torture material.
